I don't see now how United can go for any other manager apart from OGS, I don't think they thought this interim manager choice through.
Not really something I would want a United manager saying.
The FA Cup is an important trophy and we must set out to try and win any competition we are in.
Wow, if Pochettino said the FA cup isn't a real trophy he's worse than I thought he is.

We can look even closer. Arsenal swept the team he's been building for 4 years away comfortably whilst ole within matter of month went to same Arsenal making 5 changes and still schooled them. Yet we still need to face tough opposition or wait for reactions to defeat to give Ole job over pochettino? You don't understand. Ole who has only managed our reserves, Molde and Cardiff, need to win PSG, Liverpool and City, pull out a miracle out of his ass to claim us a top 4 spot and win the FA Cup to be considered as an option. Meanwhile, with Poch at Spurs, him bottling it in the league and CL doesn't show anything. Him going out of two cups comps in 3 days don't show anything. His shit attitude also doesn't prove anything. He built a squad, and a stadium and has really cute chubby cheeks. He's our man, man.
Surely a new poll with daft options removed is warranted at this point? He had 1000 at one point yesterday.
To be fair, it's a reasonable thing to say about Spurs right now; they need stability until they get settled in their new stadium. If he was United manager saying that about United I wouldn't be happy at all, but for Spurs at this particular moment it's fairly understandable. It's fecking appalling. If I were a Spurs fan I'd be furious. Spurs have a rich history in the FA cup, he's effectively saying their previous wins mean feck all so don't count them. You thought he would know this being the manager and all.
That attitude won't wash at United.
He shouldn't be saying that whatever the circumstances. Sounds defeatist and sponsors pay a lot of money for the privilege. Such comments could undermine any future value of sponsorship deals. To be fair, it's a reasonable thing to say about Spurs right now; they need stability until they get settled in their new stadium. There's absolutely no excuse for those quotes, don't care who you're managing, that nonsense is not what anyone wants to hear. I hope they bomb out of the top 4 and end up getting fecked by the new stadium. To be fair, it's a reasonable thing to say about Spurs right now; they need stability until they get settled in their new stadium. Spurs have got their best side in a long time, it won't last forever, and they've got a manager who's throwing away a shot a glory year in, year out because he doesn't believe it's worth winning? Do you think Spurs fans are going to sit around in 10 years time and talk about this great side and all the 4th place CL spots they got? Or do you think they'd rather be talking about those cups they could have picked up if their manager wasn't shit?
Since when does an FA Cup or League Cup equate to glory? Glory for a club like Spurs now is a PL or UCL regardless if they've yet to win anything. The only glory to be had winning one of the domestic cups is for the likes of your Swansea's and Wigan's. Spurs' aim is to become established in the top 4 and to the challenge for major honours
I'd also add just because Poch is saying what he's saying as Spurs manager doesn't mean he'd say the same if he were managing here. There are different expectations at different clubs

Spurs have won one trophy in nearly 30 years and nothing for 10 years. The fans need something to enjoy but not only that, trophies often breed a winning mentality that currently as a club they sorely lack.
You have two options, pick one.
1. Top 4 finish and a League cup or FA Cup.
2. A top 4 finish.
Whether you like it or not, the top 4 isn't a trophy, if you want to treat it like one then go ahead but it won't fill your trophy cabinet. It's perfectly normal for a team to compete on multiple fronts and still do well. It isn't a binary choice between top 4 or a trophy.
I also think Spurs fans would be offend at you belittling their club as a team without ambition.
The likes of Swansea and Wigan are exceptions. The domestic trophies in the last 10 years have been taken by top teams. Some of them not as good as Spurs have been in some particular seasons.Since when does an FA Cup or League Cup equate to glory? There is no weight above Man United weight. We might be going through a difficult time, but it’s still one of the top managerial jobs in the world and the expectations are always extremely high.I'm still on the Pochettino, love Ole but we need a manager that will make us punch above our weight.

You conveniently left out the part where they were winning and all they had to do was not concede two goals to make it through the tie. Again, poor set up from Pochettino, going away from home at the Bridge and setting up with Llorente as he would with Kane when they're very different players. There was no game management and Spurs shipped in two goals in the first half. When has a team with cup or title ambitions been that open in the first half of a semi final, that they're winning!?Spurs were in a league cup semi final just 3 days ago, it's not like they've written off both domestic competitions is it. They were penalty kicks away from being in a final with a massively depleted squad, a squad that at this moment in time cannot juggle the PL, that Semi Final and an FA Cup tie
We're arguably the biggest club in the world and we need to punch above our weight? To what? Biggest club in the Universe?I'm still on the Pochettino, love Ole but we need a manager that will make us punch above our weight.
I think Ole and Zidane are making good(very good at Real) players play to their potential, we need a manager that makes us play beyond our potential if we want to beat compete at the
top table.
We have outspent most or all those teams. We’ve also paid massive wages. We’re one of the biggest names in all sport. How you feel we’re underdogs is explained to me only by your buying Jose’s gaslighting narrative. As a club l agree but The Glaziers are not going to spend PSG, City, Real or Barcelona money but will spend Liverpool, Bayern, and Chelsea money. We need a manager that can build a winning team that plays attractive football without
having to spend PSG money.
Oh boy. Jose really brainwashed some of the supporters believing we are a mid table club and he was a miracle happened to us.I'm still on the Pochettino, love Ole but we need a manager that will make us punch above our weight.
