Walt Jr was an irritating whiny self obsessed little bitch of a character. Walt Sr: I have a serious gambling addiction Walt Jr: Cool, you can buy me a car. Hated him. Really wanted gus to end him somehow.
He is a 15 year old kid what do you expect really ?

For this time period, I thought Mr. Robot was better than either of those two shows. GoT really goes down with that last season/season and a half and I enjoyed Breaking Bad but its not GOAT status for me.

I had completely forgotten about the Sand Snakes. Feck sake... Breaking Bad wins by default just because of them. I do not need the bad poosay.

I was more invested in the Game of Thrones world, the first few seasons are one of the best seasons in TV history. But the last two season has just ruined the whole show for me, after the last episode I stopped participating in the GoT community and just lost interest. The story had so much potential but it’s just ruined for me.

Breaking Bad is the opposite for me, the next season is better than the one before. The ending is perfect, season 4 and 5 are examples of splendid writing and vision. I rewatched Breaking Bad 3 times and is overall a better experience for me compared to Game Of Thrones, I will never rewatch Game of Thrones again.

Unfortunately once the tv version got past the books the quality dived so much that I can't take the show seriously. On a tangent, people slag off the end of Lost but at least they tried to tie things up and do the characters justice. The last few seasons of GOT were awfully written

I think its worse, I think GoT writers actually tried to tie things up for the characters, and obviously didnt get them, at all.

I just started watching Breaking Bad. It's so fecking awesome. I might need to change my vote.

Its one of the shows where it gets better as each season progresses.

For me GoT's best was better than BB's best, but BB was consistently the better show. It also feels like one of only a handful of shows where the ending didn't feel disappointing.

Breaking Bad was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it. That said, I don't think there's ever been a more overrated show.

Just into season 5 of breaking bad. It totally shits all over GOT. I was reluctant to even start GOT in the first place but I was so glad I did at the time, it was awesome ….up until the second last season. That was just plain awful and everyone started giving out about the last season being more of the same but even worse so I just didn’t bother watching the last season at all…

Lydia is such a babe

Friends kept harping on about BB, so I binge watched the series over 10 days. I was not disappointed.
Friends kept harping on about GoT, so I binge watched it over a month. I was enjoying it until the last series were the fall off in quality was huge. Disappointed.

The Sopranos beats both hands down!

I though Breakin Bad was much better than the Sopranos. I really enjoyed them both but the last season of the Sopranos was quite poor and the very ending was really terrible. It should have ended a season earlier imo.

GOT was brilliant but as we all know suffered from rushing and a lack of source material in later seasons, which was a shame.

Yeah the last season was a little disappointing, however I still watched it avidly.
With GoT I forced myself to watch it through to the end, simply because id invested so much time into the god damn thing.
Breaking Bad I really enjoyed, started off slowly then bam hits you like a dose of Blue Magic.

I loved them all. I even enjoyed the later seasons of GOT albeit less so.

Well for consistency its easily breaking bad. GOT was more enthralling imo. However in the final season it felt like they were deliberately trying undo the whole show.

BB by a country mile. GoT had huge potential and I enjoyed the first seasons. The last two seasons fecked everything up though.

Spot on. Enjoyable but massively overrated. Nowhere near The Sopranos level.

This might be a generational problem. If you start the sopranos already having watched breaking bad, GoT and the likes in recent years, the style and making of the sopranos can feel strange and out of date.
Regarding the main topic, I'd say breaking bad >> GoT. While I agree that GoT had higher heights in terms of quality, breaking bad came pretty close at times and yet delivered almost every season. Considering those series' finales, it's obvious that breaking bad is the better series overall. GoT got butchered with those last seasons, I rewatched recently and have to say...the dropoff is absolutely stunning. The only thing that really annoyed me about breaking bad was the storyline with Skyler and Ted...jeez that was unbearable to watch.

Breaking Bad is still the best show I've seen. Tried the The Wire after all the caf hype and left it a third through the second season which seemed to be such a drop from the first. I will go back to it as I did really enjoy S1 but I was disappointed by it not hooking me and being a bit too laid back a show.

The Wire, Sopranos and True Detective S1 up there for me.

Game of Thrones started really strong, then dropped off massively. Breaking bad kept improving every season, and finished strongly. Till season 5, I would give it to GoT. Overall BB is better.

Everyone thinks this at first because S2 is such a departure from the first, but once you realise how each season broadens the scope of the show you appreciate it more and more.

S2 is probably by favourite of the show.

This 100%.

I'd add a show, not as better than most, but as a favorite of mine: The Leftovers.

The Leftovers is probably my favourite ever TV show (if I had to pick one), slightly above BB, Sopranos and The Wire etc. Just something about it really hits home with me. The ending was especially well done I thought.

It seems to have flown under the radar a little bit though.

I love the leftovers but it was clearly not a mainstream show. Just like twin peaks in its entirety was not - most people mistook it for a crime procedural show.

This is very true. It's a show you very much have to go into with an open mind.

I have the urge to re-watch it now.
