For his attitude he has shown this season, than no.

But he is still one of the best in world.

Ancelotti seems to be nailed onto the Bayern job. So in the summer if we do not stick with LVG, it will be between Pep, Simone and Jose..

He's an immoral, ethic-less creep who has had the benefit of coaching the best squads in each league he's been in.

Let him get humble, and maybe we'll talk.

I wanted him instead of Moyes, I can write off this season as I still believe he is a elite level manager, he seemed to be openly gutted at losing the post to Moyes, I think if her got the job it could inspire him onto even bigger things personally and professionally.

However with pep in the frame the tide has turned and I would say hand on heart, go for Pep and if that fails Maureen as a nice back-up option.
Pep might end up at Chelsea, I am sure his missus would love to live in London.

I genuinely think he wouldn't act like a dick here. He's had massive respect for us and the people around this club for years. I also think he could take this squad of players further than Guardiola although the latter would be my preferred choice.

People said the same when he took over e second time. He even said he's changed. Referring himself as the "happy one". Mourinho cannot change, his abrasive personality will never change and he will always breed conflict.
He also wouldn't touch our academy players, I know this because he's never done no matter how many times he's promised.
We should not touch him.

He would be gold for the brazilian nationalteam imo. (He won't do it. They won't ask him.)

Definitely. I was one of those people saying he would change and do well with Chelsea this time around, I thought he would be there for a long time.

It looks like we've missed out on Pep, Ancelloti and Klopp now. I don't think we can be too picky

Come now, he's a changed man, played Kenedy for 10 minutes, that one time....

How do figure he's in the frame given what you've said?

Do you think it's escaped everyone's notice at OT as well?

He wasn't wanted before and he'll be well down the list after the Chelsea debacle.

Because if you read the second sentence, thats why..

And who never wanted him?

A lot of influential people. He was never in the frame when Fergie left, he wanted the job and was desperate for it. We wanted Pep, Klopp and LVG before we settled on Moyes

It's quite obvious that after Pep, Ancelotti and Moyes he is the best manager in the world at the minute, along with the likes of Klopp, Simeone etc. so it's not unreasonable to suggest him as our next manager.

I didn't really believe all that shit he was coming out with. Don't think he was bothered about going to Chelsea for football reasons but we got Moyes and he has said he wanted to go back to London/England.

How do you know, are you on the United board?

SAF himself has said Jose was a candidate

He also has a destructive personality. When things are going well like they were in the first half of last season he cant take it he needs to cause fractures that destabilize the club. He's done it where ever he's been.

I respect your opinion, but given the option, is quite frankly insane that you would prefer Giggs.
Jose would be here for 5 minutes, would not restore an English core, would be the last man to respect the traditions of the way United play Football. Quite frankly he is a moron and it's not as though his recent record is up there. Giggs I wouldn't be so keen on but only because of risk. He would respect the traditions and there would be an identity between him and the fans and such a feeling of a common goal, which would ignite the players.

United need Pep really.

It's unbelievable it's as high as 26 % A pragmatist, a man who apparently tries to take everything down with him when things start to go wrong.
He isn't really good at integrating young players, no matter how talented. Look at De Bruyne, Lukaku, Sturridge, maybe even Bruma and Bertrand and then Matic (sold for peanuts and bought back for the opposite of peanuts).
Even when everyone is shit the highly rated Loftus-Cheek is nowhere to be seen.
I don't want him anywhere near Old Trafford.

it's hard to say. i like him, but his history of collapse means we'll be in the same situation in two or three years.

i'd rather have Ancelotti or Guardiola, like many others here.

I agree Pep is absolutely our best option - he's really what we need.

I think the future state of our club depends a lot on who our next manager will be, and because of that, I just think Giggs is such an unknown risk that we aren't in the luxury to take on that risk.

  • Rotates less than van Gaal
  • Won't give youth a chance
  • Will chuck his players under the bus when things don't go well even moreso than van Gaal.
  • "One of my best qualities is to read the game for my players and I feel like my work was betrayed," said Mourinho.
  • Brings so much drama and playacting with the Carneiro situation and encouraging his players to feign injuries and waste time
  • For those wanting expansive attacking football he won't give that and will happily play for a draw in certain games
  • Might have a chance of success in first two seasons but we'd most likely end up worse off than the moment he'd arrive

Watching SSN and seeing so many Chelsea fans saying they're devastated and right to the end the Chelsea fans supported him in the stadium. If Mourinho was here and we were in a similar position to them, the atmosphere would be even worse than what is going on with van Gaal and he'd probably be sacked by now.

Yeah but he's their mini SAF he brought them success when they hadn't had it in generations. SAF could have gone seasons outside the top 4 without the majority of the fanbase turning on him. LVG does not have that connection with the fans.

Wins us the title. Get him and his bad attitude we've got the money to give him great players. But people are right.. Will he be happy with Neymar not tracking back and do the fans stop moaning about boring football.

Yep. I've just watched a Youtube video entitled "Mourinho reacts to Hitler's Sacking".

There's a reason he managed a club like Chelsea. He's a Chelsea/Man City/Real Madrid type manager.

He's not a Manchester United (or Barcelona) type manager.

No, never.

After Fergie I thought he should've taken over. But now I wouldn't. I'd much rather bring in a manager who will finally improve the playing style and make us exciting to watch again, even if we don't win the title right away.
