Gaming Pokémon Strumfest

I'm about to go on for the first time in weeks to get it, wonder trade could start to get more interesting.

5 days in and they are in Rocket Tower. Which they won't get out of any time soon. :D

Watched some of it quickly. Some guy kept trying to save, but everyone else was stopping him and walking onto those arrow floor things. I don't think they are going anywhere fast

I had Gold back in the day and my sister had Silver. SO GOOD!
Silver was the first Pokemon game I owned, bought 2nd hand out of money from my summer job, I had played and finished Yellow before, though.

Man, that game was magical. Battery's dead now, lost an amazing save. To this day Feraligatr is one of my fave pokemon, despite being useless back then. I'd love to get a digital copy on my 3DS, I have the remakes, but I like kicking it old school from time to time. Need to fix the battery at least, still have my GBA's.

I decided to give it a quick watch and saw about 5 minutes of an ELITE 4 battle, trying over and over to use a TM and secret key and then another 5 minutes trying to run. Surely it gets a bit tedious after while?

Yeah, i had watched it a bit when they were first starting and i really never stuck around for long. I might watch the next one more though, just stick it up on my second monitor and let it run whilst i do other stuff. Then if they get to somewhere interesting i can watch for a bit.

While traveling I downloaded a GBA Emulator on my iPhone and got Pokemon Fire Red on it. Was great to play on the grueling 18+ hour bus journeys I sometimes had to take.

Twitch is gonna be playing 2nd gen starting at 12 today. I've got the stream open in anticipation, let's see how these morons get on with twice the amount of shit to do as the first one!

Just thought I'd have a look to what this actually is. How the hell is this ever gonna work? Actually, how did they even get to Viridian City in the Blue/Red?

I didn't see all that much of it, but they must have managed it. I think when they get stuck they tend to realize they need to use democracy to get around it. That's how i assume they managed it.
