Gaming Pokémon Strumfest

This game is going to wipe out my entire weekend!

I loaded up yesterday, and spent ages just messing around on Wonder Trade just trying to load up the Pokedex.

If anyone has any "spare" starters that they have amassed through random trade, I'd happily take them off your hands - will add my code when I get home!

Yeah I can hook you up. I've been breeding them for people so add my code from the op and post up yours and we can sort it.

Go to the Friend List menu (the face icon) from the 3DS' home screen and move along to your profile card. It'll be on the top screen under your name.

Nice one! I've added the guys in the OP too! I'm only 1 badge in so far, but managed to just get a froakie in wonder trade! And a level 48 werewolf lookalike with a Japanese name?!
 
Just found a way to get a GBA emulator on my iPad without jailbreaking it. Leaf Geeen aka Blue, ah the good old days. Blastoise and Snorlax ftw.

On another note, I've just had a skim through this gen's new Pokemon. Absolute gash the lot of them. Is it just me who thinks the bloke in charge of artwork has had a fecking mare in the last couple of generations? They're all so shite looking and over complicated. Seems like there's been a departure from the simplicity up to generation 3 which was a poor decision IMO.
 
Just went into a Pokemon center and confetti and stuff came down and a picture of a birthday cake came up on the screen behind the woman at the counter. She said 'Happy Birthday Skeldy, we hope you have a wonderful year. Many happy returns'.

Welp, i guess technically it is my birthday now. :lol:

Took me two goes, first time I one shot him....bah! Took like 15-20 dusk balls the 2nd time.


For the hell of it, I took an entire box of decent to very good or rare pokemon I had no use for, earlier gen fossil mon and the like, and wonder traded the lot.
Got a fair whack of chunder, but a couple of good mons with perfect natures but mediocre IV's, two pokemon with Pokerus, one of which was a Carbink with a perfect defensive nature.

But! For one of the worst pokemon in the box, I got a just hatched Larvesta, Timid, great IV's. feck, I kinda feel obligated to EV train the thing and keep Volcarona in my team.....

Thank you kind sir! It turns out the Pokemon center lady was the first to wish me happy birthday! :lol:

Oh, i also caught a Ditto in the Pokemon village and a Haunter so if anyone wants to do a Haunter for Haunter trade so we both get Gengars then hit me up sometime!
 
Still no Ditto there for me, lol, searched before Mewtwo....

Oh! If you have a destiny knot on a pokemon for breeding now, it passes down 5 of the parents IV's, so, looks like immense stat babies are going to easily be possible, especially if you find a Ditto with great IV's.

It matters not! Wonder Trade gave me a Japanese Ditto this morning, feck I love Wonder Trade! :lol:

Yup! This Wonder Trading is lucky as feck for me. Since, I got two Charmanders and three perfect natured Ralts(ez).

Thinking of breeding an entire box of Aerodactyl to trade, just to see what happens, got Omanyte, Kabuto, Archen and Tirtouga I could do the same with later.

By the way, this whole breeding thing, do you just pair a male Ditto with a female whatever you want to breed and bam! You get the same as the female? I think i'd like to try my hand at a bit of this breeding lark, y'see :)

Dittos are genderless so you can breed them with a male or female and you get the non ditto baby, that's why they are so good!

That's awesome! I caught one last night so i'll just start breeding then! Does this mean i can breed a Torchic then if i stick my Blaziken with the Ditto?

Should be able to manage that, got 25 at the minute, and 5 eggs.
 
Yeah man, it's only really legendaries that you can't breed, so any of the starter pokemon from any game will breed.

At the moment all of the new ones and Squirtle. Will have Charmanders and Bulbasaurs by the end of the day too hopefully

Once the transfer bank comes then will have them all.
