After the knee-jerk I had yesterday, I hope the saving grace is the three home games.

Surely we won’t lose to both West Ham and Bournemouth? Even then will Liverpool win all their remaining games. It’s still unlikely we don’t make it from here.
Can’t see us beating West Ham and a draw with Bournemouth would be a fair result given the state of the players, injuries, and away form.
Liverpool have Brentford, Leicester, Villa and Southampton, so the only real hope for them is Villa taking points off them.
Even if we drew to West Ham and Bournemouth, we would then only need to win 2 of our 3 home games. We really would do well to feck this up. Although our past two away games have shown we’re well up for it.
Two draws and two wins gives us 71pts, if Liverpool win all remaining games they get 4th on GD.
We need a third win.
I'm very worried. If we don't win on Sunday and Liverpool / Brighton win their games it will go the wire. The lack of finishing in games is frustrating.
Confident we can get the job done at West Ham, we've created good chances in previous games and I think we'll take a few this Sunday.

Before last night we needed 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss to get top 4.
That is still true except we've already lost that 1 game we were allowed to lose, which doesn't leave us with a safety net anymore. We really needed a minimum of 2 points from Brighton and West Ham to put us in a good position going into the final 4 games. The West Ham game on Sunday is now big trouble for us.
Baffles me the confidence fans have in this team.
Even in the games we win, we scrape very close 1 goal wins where we're hanging on for dear life at the end of the match, bringing Maguire on to head the ball away from the aerial onslaught, making last ditch blocks as the ball bounces around our box like a pinball.
You don't get routine wins with this team. If you can't win games convincingly then you can't go into any game with confidence.
Yeah I don't know why people start them. Why do people enjoy coming onto a website just to fret and worry?
What possible satisfaction could any self respecting 'fan' get from writing something like 'I think Liverpool will get 4th now'?
Is it just so they can gloat about being right if that horror scenario does play out? Why would anyone want that badge?!

We’ll comfortably smash either one of West Ham or Bournemouth and we’ll be almost there - I’m sure these boys still have a couple of good performances in them to get us over the line.
I also think we have looked a bit worse than we actually are recently, down to a bit of bad luck I guess.

We’re sitting pretty comfortably in the top 4 and have reached two cup finals. It’s not baffling to think we might beat West Ham United.
Correct, but as I said for our own part I'm very worried about scoring enough goals to win games. I really hope I'm wrong.
That would be the worst possible outcome as they'd just use the 7-0 thrashing even more!
I'm confident we will win all three home games and pick up some points from the away games too.
Brentford could give Liverpool real problems on Saturday too, I could see them dropping points in that game.
I was going to say West Ham are safe but they are still only 4 points off relegation but they do have Conference League midweek which they may be looking at. Bournemouth are pretty much safe it will probably be mathematically impossible for them to go down when we play them. There's not excuses not to get at least 4 points from those two game.
They don't need 3 points vs Arsenal...they'll smash Leeds, Leicester, and Chelsea, and they should be beating Brighton as well. Newcastle are nailed on for 3rd.

That's kind of the point. I certainly couldn't boast I'm "confident we'll turn them over" given our performance levels. "Might" is the best I could manage with this team.

Because I’ve been watching the team for the last weeks / month or two.
We’re absolutely crawling to the end of the season and can’t seem to buy a goal at the moment. We’ll be facing a West Ham team fighting to get clear of the relegation battle.
So yeah I’d see a win against West Ham as a miracle.

You're just caught up in the emotion of it all. We can even afford to lose to West Ham. Just win our home games, or failing that, win away at Bournemouth and win two of our home games.
