Pogba's social media post was a scheduled event - Neville and .Rossi take note!

I'm all about players being mature and disciplined and would usually feel annoyed about something like this but, you know what? Feck it. Mourinho was such an unusually toxic manager, I'm ok with players rubbing his nose in what happened.

He chose to turn this season into an unfair personal battle between him and the players. He was constantly belittling them, while they were not allowed to speak up for themselves. What goes around comes around. Prick.

Agreed.

Wow, the sensible line of thought turned out to be the truth. Not gonna stop the hate train though. People just dislike Pogba and look for any excuse to have a go at him.

Wonder if Neville will go back on what he says. Loved him as a player and I know he loves the club, but he really can be quite a joker sometimes.

Boom!

There it is!
You proved me right

Get your arse all tetchy when I merely mentioned your post count and then threw that back in my face.

Like you tried to hound me off here when you were a mod?

Sad and pathetic. Please don't waste my time any more. I don't know where you've been

You're embarrassing yourself.

So what did they expect the captions of Pogba looking smug in the middle of a shameful season with those hashtags to be before the news dropped?
I'm pretty sure they were just using Pogba to promote their brand and make money. Because it works. No need to read anything extra into it.

You sow what you reap. Pogba has a lot to prove and answer but he is free to give as much shit as he wants to that man.

It is. Football fans call players robots and give them shit for being boring but lose their shit over something like this.

I also think it's down to a lot of football fans hating change, they want football to remain the same when they first fell in love with it.

A lot of the older fans just don't understand social media and that makes things worse too.

I would dispute that.

I think it's a lot of younger fans losing their shit over this. Older fans are far more likely to be forgiving and understanding of this.

There's a lot of jealousy and anger with some fans

Can’t believe so many people thought this was Pogba’s way of sticking it to Mou. So obviously just a badly timed post for brand exposure.

Some people really need to question their biases.

Specially when it's social post regarding a marketing subject, it's 100% posted by someone else than the player

Bro, you said it before in your posts. Mourinho has turned many of our fans against the players to the point where it's blind accusations before anything else

It doesn't matter what the post is about, fans have already their minds up.

It's like the Pogba thread being more active than the players who played in the Liverpool game. Posters have become obsessed and they're convinced Pogba is the real problem at the club. It's a joke to be honest.

I hope many of our fans will realize that Neville isn't better than the average terrible pundit. Hell, he is basically a fan give a mic to spout some nonsese all the time. Carragher makes much more sense than him in general. He's a fecking joke

Relax guys, it was just a promotional thing.

Exactly. Why can't people understand and accept this?

Can't believe this hype about Pogba.

Mourinho berated Pogba, AND so many other players in public, and this was shocking to witness.

Jose Mourinho has one person to blame, and that is himself.

I would dispute that.

I can only judge off what I see and I'm obviously biase due to my age, but my mates don't care what players get up on social media.

Think the media and some ex-players take a lot of the blame too.

Some of our fans are truly idiots and it is sad the way they have hounded one of our players.

We demand loyalty from players and yet show none back when the roles are reversed.

Do people even understand how long a marketing campaign takes long to put up?

Goes to what Raheem Sterling said

He's done you to be fair.

He's successfully ignored the main point of the argument and the thread while also diverting your attention from it - that his faux outrage was horrifically misplaced and he doesn't have the balls to own up to it.

As it turns out. It wasn't even a thing. Didn't stop even Gary Neville to spout some nonsense. When people are looking for an opportunity to outrage, it's not hard.

It's all a matter of opinion - if you are operating in a league where player power is higher, you will get more flexibility to do as you please. My opinion is that Pogba was wrong because he knew full well what he was doing with a "caption this" tagine for a kit launch 10 mins after Jose was sacked.

It was a scheduled post. He didn't personally write it himself, it's unfortunate timing at best.

Agree with this, especially the part about fans not understanding social media.

I stopped listening to Neville long time ago. He's so stubborn and boring to listen to these days, even when he's so clearly wrong.

No, I just think he's a dick and have always had a problem with him

Re Pogba, they confirmed it, that's fine. Fair enough

They knew what they were doing.

Yeah Adidas hate Mourinho and used Pogba to throw shade at Jose, but then deleted the post quickly and explained what happened. But yeah man, they knew!!!

I think it's actually quite sad how our fans have turned on him. They give him absolutely no benefit of the doubt.
