Pogba's says his future is at United and has many years on contract

No everyone isn't, some people are furious about comments he didn't make. Those who have an agenda won't accept that he didn't say them.

It's exactly the same as the whole 'attitude' thing. No one cares what he actually says or means, they only care about twisting his words to fit their own narrative.

The lack of standards for what's allowed into a post title is really doing a number on the overall quality of this forum. A month into the season and we've created an entire false narrative based on two fake quotes from Pogba attributed to him in the thread titles. No one bothers to fact check anything or gives a shite when audio and video quite clearly contradicts whatever flash-point quote someone's taken off Twitter.

I especially like the ones who say, I'm bored with this whole saga, why do they comment in the thread then, why do they listen to the crap that's turned out by the media.

I wonder who's turn it'll be next. Probably Sanchez because he hasn't set the world alight since he arrived.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I have learnt in the past few years that if the information is not backed by a completely trustworthy source or that you can comprehend the texts/news etc. fully, do not bother making decisions about what is true and what is not. This Pogba case is so annoying because every second person is jumping ship, and reacting to something that either didn't happen or was understood wrongly (same thing?). Makes me sick how the media influences everything. Today it is just about selling, making money and being first with the fake click baits, and not conveying real and trustworthy information what the media is supposed to do. Mostly just BS. Less social media would do good for many people (me including), too much information to know always what is true and what is not.

Peace and United

As a neutral looking in, Pogba hasn\t really done anything worthy of the loyalty United fans place in him. Hasn't been your best player that goes to DDG.
He's been the best outfielder though. Goalkeepers are usually reliable to shine in poor teams.
Hasn't been consistent doesn't do enough and it's 1 in 3 that you can expect a good game. United paid big money for Pogba and when you look at his Premier league stats for United you could be fooled that he was some 30-50m purchase.
Dunno, but these is textbook double standards. Look at his stats last season and compare it to the other central midfielders in the league.
When Hazard was flirting with Madrid, most Chelsea fans were cool with it, he has given us 6 years of great service so we would be happy for him to get his dream move.
He isn't really flirting with anyone, is he?
Has Pogba in his short time at United warranted this? CR7 wanted out but he was consistent was the main guy when the chips are down and United needed inspiration you got it from him. Same for Chelsea when the chips are down and we're playing awful Hazard creates something out of nothing and help us on.
CR7 was the best player in a great player. Pogba is the best player in a shit team. For Hazard, remember your final season under Mourinho?
Is Pogba a leader of men? Does he dictate to his teammates does he show passion on the pitch like Roy did? We have Luiz who is by no means a great CB but atleast we can\t fault his drive and passion.
How can you accuse him of not having passion? How do you know what passion is like? Running around and kicking? Breaking the legs of your opponents? Pretending to be a tough guy?
You ask yourself and be really honest with yourself United fans, would Pogba based on his performance for united over the past two seasons be in City midfield? Chelsea MIdfield, Barca, Madrid Bayern? Hell Even Juve midfield? IF your not just looking at his Potential and the moment of brilliance, has Pogba been consistent enough to say he is one of the best CM in the world?
The Pogba we got from Juventus and the Pogba we watched at the world cup easily walks the Juve and PSG midfield. Bayern doesn't really have a midfielder you would consider 100% better and he'd have every chance of getting in the Barca team. Even our own Pogba has got every chance of getting into Chelsea's midfield. It's a pity he's playing in a poor Man Utd side.
The answer is No. He has shown us glimpses that he can be the best but does he do this 20/38 games a season? Does he turn up and win a game while the chips are down? How many times have Pogba saved united from losing 3 points?
Unless you have unrealistic expectations, Man City, Middlesbrough with him goals come to mind. You'd find games when he contributed to the winner too. Remember, he's a central midfielder.
He's you're superstar player but this guy is betraying your loyalty.
He's not betraying us. He's being professional and is performing on the pitch. What else do you want him to do before you reconsider that accusation? Football is more professional than emotional.

People seem to have forgot his comments about not being happy after Leicester game, trying to get #pogfeelings go viral, claiming his attitude wasn't right against Brighton even though supposedly he always gives 100%, and then he let Wario piss on a legend. All the while never confirming he wants to stay at the club standing behind him and paying him extortionate wages, but giving cryptic messages on social media and interviews to get even more media attention. Then he has the audacity to claim that he isn't the one talking...

Pogba doesn't give a shit about the club and its people who have nurtured him, nor the fans who have stood behind him. If I wasn't in South America I'd go to a game with a big banner saying "DO YOUR TALKING ON THE PITCH POGBA!", because that's what he needs to start doing. He's been garbage since the Leicester game, and I believe he was only motivated in that game to put himself in the shop window.

Funny thing is to that guy you so posted has actually did much worse during his interviews, had us playing dogshiit football, publicly berated the club after disgraceful performance vs. Sevilla and he even basically said we're not good enough before the start of the season yet no one is questioning his attitude

And once flirted with PSG too.

fecking Pogba, all his fault.

Normally I'd say it's on Mourinho but with a bunch of our players, some of whom were usually on the wrong end of criticism from Jose, backing him in public and saying they will do everything for him, you can't help but have second thoughts. I doubt somebody like Lukaku, who has absolutely no reason to back Mourinho in a Pogba-Mou argument, would have gone to the media and sing praises towards the manager just after the conflict had been well-estabilished.

Mourinho is the manager, what he says goes.

What did Ferguson once say? Something about cutting the cord when a player gets above his station and starts to undermine the manager and becomes a disruptive influence in the dressing room.

Let's not forget that it's not only Jose he has fallen out with, him and Lukaku are not speaking anymore. Should we blame Jose for that too? I get the impression that Pogba is a bit of a bully and sulks when he doesn't get his own way. (remember him arguing with Sanchez over the penalty?)

We're becoming like Real Madrid, in terms of signing big personalities and paying big wages.

Whilst they may be exiting signings at the time, I can't imagine it's great for the stability of the team, and that was a big reason as to why Pep said he didn't sign Alexis Sanchez.

“Normally we try to be stable with the wages of the players because I think it is good for the team and stability of the club,” Guardiola said. “I’ve never put pressure on a club when they believe it is too much. Immediately I accept that decision and move forward to find another solution. The stability of the club is the most important thing.

“We’ve spent a lot of money, we can’t deny that. But in my period at Barcelona, my period at Bayern Munich and now here, I never pushed or pressured the club to say ‘I want those players’ when the club believes and says it’s too much. The stability of the club is the most important thing.”

I said it before that Sanchez coming in and being our highest paid player will unsettle a few of ours, especially Pogba, who clearly believes he should be the top dog at the club.

Since when?

Since when?
There's been some rumours as far as approaching the end of last season I think. Lukaku, Rashford, Lingard I think had enough of his antics but that's as credible as it is.

So when Mourinho said his relationship with Pogba has never been better you are saying Mourinho was lying.
You seem to be making it up as you go along.
Would be simpler if you just said that you hate Paul Pogba for no particular reason.

You started this thread because you weren't to know that the translation was incorrect.
You have been told by all us fluent french speakers that Pogba never said that so until you produce another video where he has actually said it then I'd suggest you put your agenda on hold until then.

Ok, Paul the Wolf Pogba...

I didn't start this thread...I posted this in the Pogba thread and it was made into a separate thread by the mods. If I didn't post it, someone else would have so this whole "agenda" bollocks you and others spout is nonsense. It's the same as the whole, "oh knee jerk" shit people came out with on here years ago, anytime we lost a game.

For the record, I don't want him acting like this, I want to keep him! I want him to be the best but, he's not doing it. Simple as!

Admittedly, I loved discussing, debating, engaging and trading insults earlier but, I'm not working now and have no boredom to kill so, thanks and have a great weekend :)

I must have mistranslated your posts from English to English;)

Get with the times, our playing style is what it all comes down to. :p Now that he's seemingly changing it up, I'm all for it. I loathed Mourinho's attitude more back then than I loathe Pogba's now. But the fact is that Mourinho is trying his best right now to keep the team together while Pogba is doing the opposite.

He's more attacking, he's connecting more with the fans and he's looking more like a United manager. Meanwhile, whenever we have a positive result Pogba always wants centre stage. It feels as if we won't have a week with only positive news this season because whenever we get good results, Pogba always seems to find a way to take the gloss off feeding the media unnecessary ammunition. If he really is upset with media talking shit, he could just go out and play down Raiola's comments on Scholes and say he wants to stay at United and that's it.

I just don't see the point in stirring the pot every week when you have 4 years left on a contract and we're not willing to sell. He wants parity with Sanchez so bad he doesn't care if the club is a mess until he does.

Lukaku, Pogba and one more player came to training in the same car just a week or 2 ago.

So just because he's pulled few publicity stunts and is allegedly trying to do his best since 3 weeks ago all should be forgotten and absolved?

Irony is that Mourinho's attitude and his ego is what's probably behind Pogba media drama. As I said before I think it's Mourinho's comments after the World Cup what had sent Pogba into this media moaning frenzy.

Also there's nothing controversial in what he said yesterday. Controversial was what he has said after the Leicester game.

This thread has been made to generate retaliatory posts.. he has said a lot more than 'his future is in Manchester'. Come on, please focus on the facts and the bigger picture rather than one line that does not speak the truth.

Ha not you. I was referring to others saying that.
It's not this particular interview, it's everything all adding up over the course of the calendar year
Ah fair enough mate, I'm trying to remain optimistic because I can't see us finding another midfielder with his talent but it does seem like the writing is on the wall.

True. Player power does reign supreme in this day and age. And to an extent it would be justified if he was putting in the performances to match. But he's the loudest player off the pitch, and one of the most feeble on it (when he plays for us).
So we just cop it, because we as fans can't do anything. But the situation calls for a swift shoe from the manager and that won't be happening.

It's simple - we start winning or he will leave.

It is clear there is a gulf in class between pogba and our next best player. There is also a gulf in quality with city and Europe's elite. So in these situations agents come out with shit to get more money. See Rooney situation in 2010.

Pogba is not messi or Ronaldo but a world cup winner and CL finalist and Euro finalist. We need to surround him with better players and jose needs to do a better job finding the right system.

If we lose him I feel that we will have scared off world class players for a while. Only over paid, borderline world class players will want to play at Man Utd.
