The lad needs to get fit and then earn his place in the team back first and foremost before we start talking about new contracts. Let's see if he can actually get in to the team and help improve us further.

He's a professional that wants to win, he's been fed up of playing with dross for years and I can't really blame him. He obviously became disallusioned at the club failing to add some good players alongside him.
Do you really think if Bruno stays here for 3/4 years and wins nothing, he won't do exactly the same thing if Madrid/Barca come for him?
Now he's seen Bruno come in and lift the place, players are excited and palying well, perhaps Ole has told him the plan for the summer (Sancho, Grealish) etc... he's probably happy to stay as long as they don't break that promise.
It's up to the club to convince him not the other way around.
This is exactly what it is and I hope the club don't fall for it. While pogba may be a world class player but clearly we are intending to head down another route, of finding players more suited to the culture, work ethic and lack of circus.
It'll be good for all to remember how he just flat out said in an interview how he wishes to explore other opportunities and then his agent has been mouthing off all this time.

Pogba finished last season with top goals + top assists, highest chances created, highest passes into final 1/3, highest duels/possession won, most fouls won etc.... from CM, yet you wouldn't have known it by the general opinion surrounding him.

For those who think Pogba is not better than Bruno, i would just like to say one thing. You don't really understand what happened here when Jose was around. Let me refresh your memory, when Jose came in after we sacked LVG we brought in Pogba for a world record fee because he had won multiple titles with Juve and was touted to be one of the best midfielders of the modern game. He was eventually going to win the Ballon D'or some day. He made the decision to come to Man United and bring the club back to the glory days. What was the situation back then? We had a squad that was one of the weakest in the premier league, forget Europe. Jose had to improve the squad and bring in players that actually make a difference but what did he do, he imposed his stupid negative tactics on the players and played Pogba in a deep position more often than not. It was not actually the worry, the huge worry for all of us was Faillaini took up a more advance position to Pogba which for a world class midfielder is demeaning. With Ander Herrera and probably Scneiderlin or Sweinsteiger we had a better CM who could've supported Pogba and of course we had Fred who could've been what he now back then because Jose was more fluent in many languages than Ole ever will be.
Fast Forward 15 months and Jose is one, most of those good for nothing players are gone and POGBA is injured, Maguire,AWB, James come in and we are progressing to be this forward thinking team and Pogba is still injured. He's not faking it, just FYI. Bruno comes in, takes the whole team in his arms and is carrying them forward. Now, for even a sec, just replace Bruno with Pogba and i can still say he would just do more things. He would demand the ball just as much and i would think Martial, James would square the ball to him more often than not. Mctominay and Fred would feed him the ball regularly and he would just make the opposition defense go berserk. Pogba has all the capabilities of beating a player even in tight situation and his drop of the shoulder is so unique and unreadable.
So, i think he should be given a fair chance in this United team alongside Bruno and you will see he wouldn't mind playing deep because he is so selfless and has a beautiful mind. I cannot wait for Ole to play Pogba and Bruno in the 2 number 8 positions and play Fred or Mctominay in a more holding role. I think this could work wonders for us and we'll get everyone scoring. Pogba is a very good player in a good team, far better than Maddison or Grealish.
I know money is tight supposedly but if we kept Pogba, signed Sancho, Werner and a centre half we would be title contenders next season, pipe dream maybe, but one can hope

While Sancho is a great player whom by all reports would be happy to join United, Dybala had his chance and turned us down. It's not an open and shut case that Pogba will leave either despite what his brother wants. United still need a midfielder and a forward but I think we are well covered at the back

But you'll have to forgive if some of us are a little sceptical.
I can see why he would want to leave, and people have made fair points about the overall quality of the squad.

These clubs will wait until he runs his contract down, probably until next year. At that stage he will be worth 60-90m and they'll find it easier to budget for.

To be fair it all started from Neymar transfer to PSG. If this summer someone in the market moves for 200m+, its surely will trigger a wave of big money transfer.
i think the difference with Bruno if he does what you say, is he would give his all for 3-4 yrs with none of the off the field distractions Pogba brings. Ronaldo wanted to go to Real ,we knew that but he still performed to his highest level whilst here. Great players make those around them better, can't really say that re Pogba during his stay with us. Fernandes has come in, clearly wants to be here and you've seen the lift he has given with the same squad, bar adding Ighalo and with our best performer this season in Rashford missing. Pogba needs a reality check, he wanted to go last season, no-one came in for him, Real prioritised other players ahead of him and will do again this summer as they need a world class striker. I don't think we need to convince Pogba of anything, if anything he has to convince us, because a sprinkling of magic here and there from him, which is what he has done thus far is not enough anymore.

I still remember that Soton away game... that was the worst game i have ever seen him play however he still created a chance even in that game if i remember correct. Went past two Soton players near their box en passed the ball after that. Striker (Rashford?) missed the chance after that though..

He's world class. He and Bruno could be a deadly combo. He will improve us more. But the stunts his entourage have been pulling are downright disrespectful to the club. The best thing he can do right now for us is help us get top 4 and add to our summer budget from his sale. I think fans will be ok with such circumstance and won't be angry with him as much as they are now if that happened.
