This opinion I'm sorry to say doesnt make sense. You can say he wasnt finding his rhythm you can say hes total shite if that's what you think but there is no way a professional footballer let alone a world cup winning one does not put in a 100 percent.

Pause a moment and think about what it takes to get to this level. You dont become pogba (for all his faults) by not showing up to certain games due to lack of intent.
He's not been close to giving 100 percent, he's been lazy as feck.

He traveled with the team. Pictures were taken in the airport.
Well if he's there he's going on the plane? Iether good or bad whichever way you look at it, I still think with a CM who can support him better or even better runners up front, he's the man for the job, if his heart is in it?

If not best thing is get rid

A cog or not hes brilliant for France and its not his fault hes surrounded by Jesse rashford and lukaku at United. Of course he has to step up. He cant be a cog for those guys as there is no machine.

The few months when rashford and co were playing well pogba was being talked of as the best midfielder in world football.

Theres too much pressure and focus on Paul pogba. Sign some quality and watch him shine.

Or let him go to Madrid and watch him wreck the league there.
I don't even know where to start. He's not "brilliant" for France. He's performing a role for them, no less than Kante does, or Matuidi does. Are they also brilliant?

Having poor players around you at club level is no excuse. It certainly wasn't for Gerrard and it wasn't for Robson either. Pogba can and should have done more for Utd than he's currently done thus far. Jose and the club haven't helped but Pogba needs to take his share of the blame.

He's 26, going on 27 and he still plays like an inconsistent 21 year old with all the potential in the world, rather than being someone who is in the prime of his career. That's indefensible no matter which way you try to argue it.

He was always traveling either way imo whether he's leaving or not. Going on a strike that early would have been a no returning point and if the deal collapsed he'll be totally fecked in terms of relationship with United. Maybe he seriously thought about going on a strike but I'm sure he changed his mind because he'll be an idiot not to.

We simply need to get back to building our team around players from UK and Ireland.
I know that may not be a popular idea.
We need total commitment from our players.
We have lost that.
This is nonsense. Go through Citeh's team and all the longer serving players are foreign. Hazard started at Chelsea for 7 seasons. Drogba never wanted to go. It's success that buys loyalty not Nation of birth

He's consistently one of France's best players. He was their creative outlet in midfield in the world cup - where he was excellent - with goals and assists.

They had a game at the end of last year with Pogba injured or suspended, and they lost 2-0 against Germany or the Netherlands - their midfield loses its creativity without him. The difference between us and France - France have Mbappe, Griezmann and Giroid up front - players who make smart runs, and unlike Rashford or Lingard, actually burry their chances.

Sure he's not consistently excellent, and that's a mark against him, but if he played week in week out with the France team or even the City team, he'd be lauded as one of the best in the world. As it is he has Martial, Rashford and Lingard up from to play with.

Juve have signed Ramsey and Rabiot, they have Matuidi, Bentancur and Can. Cant see Pjanic ever leaving them. Juve simply don't need him, its Madrid Pogba wants and is the reason he has gone public.

Yeah, everything is pointing to Madrid.

Galacticos
Money
Zidane
Champions league pedigree
Etc.

And going public is the typical 'way to Madrid' move for big name players. It's as if they talk to them privately and make it a precondition for moving to them.

Who is better than Pogba? Who?

I’ll wait.
Not in terms of direct replacements who we can actually get. Loads in terms of potential to reinvest in the squad to strengthen us overall. A decent amount also who are more proven, more consistent though are unattainable. Pogba, as of now, is still far more hype and "potential to explode" compared to actually doing it over a season.

Better in what sense ? His marketing value to the club ? His potential to be the best ? His performances on the pitch ? If it's the latter then he will be very easily replaced because in 3 years I can use my fingers to count the amount of stand out performances .

So we can get potential but not a direct replacement who will walk into the team as our best player like Pogs?

So my point still stands that we will miss him badly when he’s gone.

Football teams aren't build that way. You can have a midfield unit all of them of less quality and will work far better and be more competitive than with one quality player with too many flaws in his play.

Odd, I didn't see these nice comments coming Lukaku's way when he joined up with the squad earlier.
I think the same about Lukaku, guy obviously wants to leave, thier doesn't seem to be a buyer who can afford him, so he is turning up and doing his job.

Pogba is 26, isn´t a leader and has only two years of contract. 134 Mio. € would be fair enough.
3 years, as it's 2+1. And it has to be 180m GBP minimum, or just rot in the reserve and go for free in 3 years. Good luck with that.

There won’t be anyone rotting in the reserves. It’s such a cliche and one that rarely happens - especially with a high profile player.

I think that will be the likely outcome I’m just more concerned why we are not filling these wholes in our squad. Regardless if Pogba stays or goes. We still need 2 midfielders. Buy his replacement while he is here if we have to.
you can't buy a replacement if there is a big chance he is going to be here next season. We do still have Matic, Pogba Fred Mctominay + a few youngsters.

All depends on how Ole set up the team, if he sticks with 433 then yeah we need at least 1 more player, but if he goes to a 2 man midfield then you don't want 6 centre midfielders in a 25 man squad.

the Pogba blueprint has been a failure, so we don't need a Pogba mk2. We replaced Keane with Carrick

We may but we may not. We’ve sold big names before and moved on. Who thought we’d win the double after selling Hughes, Ince and Kanchelskis?

Once he’s gone, we should implement that no Raiola client rule

Like when Cantona never use to.
Are you seriously comparing the situation back then to what is happening now?

After going public and even using his fat feck of an agent to strongly twist the club's hand, the least Pogba could do is be respectful to his manager's demands. Ole is the last person that deserves to get disrespected like that and I'm sure he will have a word.

For his potential yes. In the hopes SAF could nurture the talent. Pogba spit in his face by lying that he would consider the offer when he already signed for Juve.

I reserve the label for players who behave like scumbags. Tevez, Neymar, Suarez, etc. They may be amazing players and I might respect the ability, but I hate them for their behavior.
Doesn't matter. The notion SAF didn't want him is completely false.

Also putting Suarez and Pogba in the same category is one of the dumbest comparisons I've ever seen. You can not like the guy but referring to him as a "scumbag of human being" shows a detachment from reality.

The only player from the entire squad and staff that didn't follow the dress code set by Ole. But I'm sure Pogba's fans would brush this off as something meaningless.
Yeah I don't like those small rebellions. I think United should go strong on him so that Raiola sees the effect of his words. No transfer unless it's a 180m+ GBP cash request, etc... sometimes, you have to kill the ego, and then, discuss. I don't get it because despite what people say, he's been a Manchester boy, there is no doubt about it. He is friend with Lingard, and all the other players of that time. So what is going on? I'm sure something is missing in the stories.

I’m not comparing I’m saying there has been special threatment given before. So if Ole has allowed Pogba to get away with not wearing the same as the lads so what. He’s wearing his tie isn’t it. Like some people give it a rest and stop biting at my obvious wind up comments.

I remember thinking Fergie had lost his mind when he done that , I should’ve known better!

I’m actually excited at the prospect of Pogba going and bringing in some new faces to liven/freshen things up

It’s not petty. If you wear a uniform for work, what do you think your boss would say if you turned up without it on? It’s not hard to to get your head around.

Well unlike some I like abit of style so I would probably switch it up abit. But also because I’m good at my job believe me, no one say f all.

He’s wearing the shirt and tie which I’m sure was the requirement.
