While I want him to feck off for the right money, we essentially would be losing 3 midfielders - Pogba, Herrera and Fellaini.

And we haven't signed a single midfielder yet...
I'm not sure we signed one when we signed Pogba :nono:

When i first watched Paul say them things in China about maybe wanting a new challange, my first reaction to it was he wants a new deal but now with the comments from his agent i think he'll be told he can't leave this season but we'll give him the chance to go next season, like the Ronaldo transfer we did.

In my opinion Paul and his agent seem to think they are both bigger than the club and i can see them both being toxic on and off the pitch if hes to stay a season and the whole season will have the 'pogba drama' when we start to lose some games, And if the rumors about him being an influence in the dressing room that's the big problem we will have especially having new young players coming into it.

Is Paul my favourite Utd player nope, but hes our best player and one of the best in europe and hes still got a few more years on his contract so we can ask for the silly money it should take to buy him from us, i just hope we dont do any swap deals with ageing high paid players.

I can see already this turning into the pogba show again next season if hes still here and the pundits will have a field day with it (again).

Thing is Ronaldo, despite those remarks, had built up a large degree of good will as a result of his past performances. I don't think Pogba has done anything like that and I'm not sure whether his position next season would even be tenable were he to stay.

If an English fullback with just 1 EPL experience under his belt is worth 50m and the new Steve Bruce is worth 75m then a world class midfielder and our main assist man/goalscorer is worth more then 90m + some Real reject
That Real Madrid reject was a starter for two Champions League winning teams.

I don’t rate Pogba higher than Isco if we look at their career as a whole instead of just last season.

The most disappointing thing for me is the sheer lack of memories he’s created here. I was so sure when he came back he’d be sensational and score at least 2-3 screamers a season.

Shame.

A succinct summation.

not wearing number 6 i see. subtle message?

Nevermind the number.

He hasn't wore anything on social media resembling a Manchester United colour since April.

Did a "bottlecap challenge" or whatever the feck the kool kids on Instagram are doing in a Adidas outfit that looks like a Juve jersey.

Now this "sprinting" in his Pogba family jersey.

He's branding himself. A completly logical and business worthy way.

But, as a Man Utd fan - he can feck off.

This.

I can see this dragging on well into August. It will be played out in the press for all the clicks they can get and will cause a major distraction for all concerned. £120 million is cheap for Madrid, considering the marketing value of the player, which is one of the reasons United are reluctant to let him go. And don't tell me Real can't afford it. They'll just have to dig a bit deeper behind Perez's settee, but for heaven's sake, get it done so we can get a replacement in.

I remember him hitting the posts a few times early on.

Really thought he would get his sights in after that but like you say it never materialized. He has a very good shooting technique, can really whip them so it's really disappointing.

He did some nice through balls and some headed goals but I think my overriding memory of him here over three seasons is getting tackled and pushed aside by players from the bottom half of the table often and their fans shouting what a waste of money.

I feel this too. I always expected him to be gone after 4-5 years (3 seasons is fewer than I expected but understandable given the 2016 rebuild has fallen apart) but was looking forward to seeing some moments of magic. He's been good and perhaps even our best player overall but no goals from free kicks and very few from outside the area.

When pogba was at juv he was not the leader. Just a peice of the puzzle. When he came to United he was expected to be the leader. And sorry but he just isn't one. He is way to immature. And the pressure of being a leader is way to much pressure on him. You can see him buckle under the pressure and go into hiding.

When zlatan was here it made a big difference. Cause he is a leader. And paul did follow. Without anyone to give paul a kick in the ass or better than him he just plays average. Just enough.

I never wanted him, from the start I knew his mentality is not good for this club and there are going to be problems with him. I hate this guy and I hope he does not stay, although I admit that his football skills are great if he has a good day, but those days are like maybe 10 per year, not enough. Messi is great almost always, Pogba rarely, that's the difference between big player and average player. It doesn't matter how good you are if you can't show it most of the times. I prefer solid players who are more consistent than spoiled talents.
Same here. Fecking cnut.

That's just it, sadly. His best and most memorable performance was the second half against City at their ground in 17/18 when he got us back in it with two goals. Other than that, err....a deflected goal in the Europa League final where Hererra was MoTM and Fellani was probably our second best player. Was anonymous in the League cup final in 16/17, was dropped for the FA cup final in 17/18 I believe, shite against PSG in the CL. Was always shite whenever he played against Liverpool too, which in fairness wasn't that often.

Not a lot of fond memories for an 89 million player in 3 seasons. It does leave a bitter taste.

his very first game at old Trafford he was barely matchfit and ran the show, couldn't believe what a player he was going to be for us. The 2 goals at City obviously will be his highlight here, and I cant remember much else that jumps out.

I do remember him playing against his brother at Old Trafford and they spent most of the match hugging each other

one of those was the game where the spinning Pogba emoji advertisement boards were all around the ground, and he died on his arse that game. Then it really dawned on me what the club is nowadays

Roy Keane was livid about that.

If we get 150 million for him, i will be laughing. Not worth near that.

So is there anyone who wants him to stay now?
If he changes his mind and wants to stay, im sure there are plenty of fans who would welcome that. If he goes, he'll fetch a sizable fee for us to play around with. If he stays, we get to keep a world class player for another year and he will have to knuckle down and earn a move if he still wants it. No need to get upset or emotional at all, we are in a great position and set to win either way. He isn't the first superstar to threaten to leave, and certainly won't be the last. We'll deal with it as always.

I can actually only think of two games against Liverpool and they were both in his first season. The first one at Anfield where he was outshone by Herrera who was in beast mode that day, and the second was the match where he either gave away a penalty or made a mistake for the goal at OT and he had a nightmare game, though the whole team were pretty rotten that day. Zlatan scored the equaliser.

yes its this one where he handled the ball for a penalty. I was actually furious at the time the club would be this shameless. Whats he thinking seeing that all around the stadium? like spoonfeeding a kid sugar

I knew Pogba would not fit from the start. More than his mentality, his style just doesn't suit both england and utd. Too many touches, too slow, too much attention seeking for a guy who is not a goal scorer. In an english midfield, unless you play for pep, you have to be decent defensively or at least hard working to succeed. This and his slow reactions and ball hogging were just not fits. I also don't think guys likre pirlo or zidane would have fit the league as much either, so its not a bad thing, just not the right fit for us.

I don't think he'd work out well for Pep because everyone of their team works hard to pressure and retrieve possession fast

Zidane was one of the best players EVER. He would have been amazing in the league. Pirlo would have been just fine too.

Wherever he goes he will eventually become a problem there too.

The fact he's considering going back to a club (Juventus) for the second time in his career says it all. He needs to grow the feck up.

Who in Pep's midfield isn't decent defensively or at least hard working? If Pogba was at City he'd need to dramatically up his game in that regard too.

He loves attention is what I'm getting from a vid like that.

"Sprint"

He really is a lazy fecker
Almost everything he does is spun negatively. If you look at his instagram stories for the past week or two (maybe longer) its almost daily videos of him working out in New York. If it's a video of someone else doing it they're incredibly hard working and they get a lot of plaudit for it. Pogba does it and it's ignored and you get posts like above. By the way, I am sure he's just running about Central Park because it was convenient and there's not enough space inside his gym. And if he were to sprint properly you're almost sure to see him bump into someone.

Pirlo ran the show playing for Italy against England, nobody gets near him

We can say all what we want about him but he is our best player by far and he is in top 10 midfielders in the world. Losing him is a huge blow. I am gutted that he is leaving. Despite everything.

I’m ecstatic he’s leaving. He’s a tool.

So he's out there without permission and he recorded everything and posted it to social media? I wish I could trust Woodward enough to think there's no reason to keep him but we probable won't replace him.

It says he's there with permission .

What is this hysteria of a witch hint here ? If he goes he's goes we will get a good price and look to replace him . Life will go on .

However this nonsense of hating him for wanting to better himself and win things that he isn't going to get here is just that nonsense.

Also wishing he gets booed and hated by where ever he goes why ? Will do nothing for us whatever he does elsewhere

Let it go people all these meltdowns on this while we are about to spend 80 million on Harry Feckin Maguire . No wonder Pogba, wants away I'm surprised the rest of the team don't want out too

With Raiola coming out publicly, Pogba’s fee will drop, so we take 100mil + Ceballos, and call it a day.

Spend it on Fabian Ruiz plus Longstaff or Partey.

Add Dani Olmo and we’ll have technical players that know how to press high.
