Gaming PlayStation Plus

Getting Lost Judgement now next week. Finally a game to play for the PS5. It's been really barren.

PGA tour 2k1 is class but anyone into golf has probably already bought it anyway.

MKX I'll download too, something I wouldn't buy but wouldn't mind for when mates are round.

You're all spoilt brats wanting FIFA 22 as a ps plus game this month, or Kena.
Thought the same re Mortal Kombat. Then remembered its been part of the PS+ Collection for nearly a year and i haven't downloaded or played it in that time so never will.

Looked at some gameplay and it looks awful imo, graphics look poor, movement looks clunky too.

I like how you have people in the middle of the roads just chatting to each other

Boring again. They need to refresh the PS+ collection.

Quite happy with PGA Tour given I'd never buy it but will definitely sink some time into it now it's with PS+.

Genuinely not sure what some of you are expecting from essentially free games.

Not AAA titles or anything but it was surely far better an year ago.

Not really. They had a little run of good stuff during the first lockdown, and Epic Games did similar with their freebies (including GTA V), but I'd say it's very comparable.

Maybe I feel it's better value because I mainly play PC and generally don't buy console games.

Got another leak on our hands here! Not 100% confirmed by Sony, obviosuly, but it looks like it's correct.

  • First Class Trouble (PS5, PS4)
  • Knockout City (PS5, PS4)
  • Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (PS4) — Recently received a PS5 patch to support 4K resolution
  • The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners (PSVR)

If I were Elvis I'd probably make a snarky comment now saying, gosh no wonder they were offering it for £25 a year.

But I'm not a vagabond like he, so I won't.
He's also not an idiot so wouldn't mention it as it isn't the same service as the one with the discount.

PS Now (the service which has the £25 offer) is getting Mafia Definitive Edition and Celeste as some of the games for the month.

Another fairly crap month apart from TWD:S&S which is apparently one of the best games on VR. It is clear the past few months that they've been putting their budget into PS Now games (service has a 50% discount for new/lapsed members) over PS+.

I was thinking of getting PS Now as it's on sale. I've never used it before though so don't know how good it actually is and whether It's worth the money.

And yeah, PS+ games have been very average. I get you have to cater to everyone, but it seems like the general consensus is that they've been lacking in this department for ages.

The first half of the year they were very good but then it was like a switch changed.

I got the PS Now offer last night but only had chance to play with it for five minutes streaming the original Infamous and the quality impressed me. I'm mostly going to use the service to play through the older games I didn't have chance to - and revisit some nostalgic games for me like FFVIII/FFIX - but I will be aiming to play some of the newer games that are added to. For what I'm looking for I'm sure I'll get my money's worth out of it by the end of the subscription but it just might not be everyone's cup of tea, even with the discount.

Ooh, I hope that leak is correct. For anyone who hasn't played Kingdoms of Amalur that is an absolutely cracking RPG and even though the remaster leaves a bit to be desired, I think it will be well worth experiencing for RPG fans. It's very high fantasy though so keep that in mind. I definitely think I will dive back into that and will be a great game to add back to my catalogue.

First class trouble looks a bit like Jackbox mixed with Among Us.

I reckon PS Now is the sort of sub that is worthwhile subscribing to every so often and then just unsubbing once you have played what you once. It's probably less useful once you've had it a couple of months and played the main headline games.

It's top 3 Damo....

Apparently you can also play The Persistence (single player game) without VR, so even if the three main monthly games aren't your cup of tea there's technically a fourth.

First class trouble looked alright on the state of play (albeit a blatant among us rip off).

Only a 2012 remaster for single player gamers. fecksake Sony.

Checking put the discounts (since PS plus is shit now),

Star Wars vs Judgement?

I remember watching G-Mod Murder videos on YouTube years ago. It’s an old format, probably going back beyond that.

I refuse to play it because of how awful the people presenting it were though.

Being a patient gamer pays off  just have to hope the adapter arrives some time this century...
True, I've slowed down quite a bit now. Only the best games get purchased day uno. I hear you can buy Chinese copies of those adapters btw.

The adapter came in a couple of days for me.

Sony seem quick on sending out peripherals. But when they had my PS5 for repair they had it for the best part of a month.
