Think a few might be monitoring the situation and will be making a deadline day bid.
Amazing how many won't be getting there's until January at best. They might lose customers to Xbox because of this.
There will be another release of stock in time for Christmas, January seems unlikely
Are you suggesting the Xbox won't sell out fast, so there'll be plenty spare?

My thing is I don’t understand why they made it a majority of online pre orders as opposed to in store (maybe COVID?)
The problem with online is it opens the doors for all the douchebags with there bots picking up a majority of them and reselling them on eBay.
Making it in store pre order Eliminated that problem.
I would hope so as I would imagine they would want to cash in on Black Friday and the Christmas holiday spenders.

It's payment on order which sucks but thankfully not an issue for me, hoping it puts some off so i can grab one.
I was just reading It's not a midnight set time but 'from midnight' so could be sometime after Argos have advised.
Jesus theres probably going to be a ridiculous number of people waiting for the Argos release tonight and I just have zero confidence I can get this sorted. What's weird is I'm so hyped, I've been in the office today and I've done the sum total of zero work because I've been refreshing pages all day. the heartbreak will be real at 1 am tonight. I don't remember the ps4 launch being this stressful.
I just don't know what the strategy is, I was on shopto earlier, package in the basket but I couldn't get past the pay screen. Probably refreshed 1000 times with an error message coming up before I abandoned ship. What's driving me mental is I absolutely could have pre-ordered last night but somehow decided demand wouldn't be that high and I could pick my retailer. At this point I'm willing to pay a caf member £30 quid if they can just secure this stupid thing for me

I mean I'm keen but I'm not so sure. It's kind of pot luck when you go and when they become available. I have work so I can't spend every second of every day refreshing (I'll certainly try though!).
