The Series X price still technically hasn't been officially revealed, has it? There was a leak around the same time the Series S was revealed but given they haven't confirmed that price, it is still up in the air.

Don't think Sony know how to respond tbh, don't think they've got anything like MS sub service/0 finance thing. That'll seal the deal for a lot of people I think, can't afford a huge chunk all in one go but can pay monthly.

Series S will sell well but I don't think Sony need to respond. Just announce the price and get on with it. They're just doing what they did previous gen all over again. They've got 110 million PS4 users, if the console isn't too much around the 399 mark, with the exclusives the majority will stay in the eco system.
Yeah Sony won't be worried at all. Each of the big three have their own strategies and I think Sony are comfortable in theirs.

I think people underestimate parents in this. I've worked in retail back when Game was Gamestation and I don't think parents just go for the cheapest. They'll go for the best package at a decent price. If you can pick up a PS5 disc less for 400 with 3 months of PSnow, new COD, the new Spiderman or the Series S with COD, game pass for 300, I think most families with kids will go option 1.

Launch window for GT 7. But wouldn’t surprise me with that dev team it’s late next year. Demon souls and Miles are the only two pretty much confirmed launch games exclusives. Ratchet should be out early next year. Horizon is next year too. I’d say that’s a good first year.
If they can get two decent titles for launch that’s good enough for me. I will get NBA at launch (actually I already got it as it was free for anyone who bought Mamba edition for PS4) so that will occupy most of my time anyway. Hope they can get GT7 out before next Summer.
