Gaming PlayStation 5

That episode is from 1993 :) Don't think I've watched it since the early-mid 2000s but the early seasons stick in my head.
Yeah, that show definitely had its golden years. It was insanely popular. I'm amazed it's still going. It must still pull in decent ratings.

Jeez can’t believe that show is older then me. I’ve been watching it all my life and still am:lol:. But yeah, it hasn’t had the same magic since season 10 and before.

Square Enix is planning to announce Final Fantasy XVI during the upcoming PS5 showcase according to some reports. The event is set for this Wednesday.

Final Fantasy XVI was first rumored to make an appearance back in June when Sony held an event called The Future of Gaming. This showcase had a bunch of PS5 game announcements that included Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Square Enix also had an announcement with Project Athia, the next open-world RPG from the developers behind Final Fantasy XV.

Yes, what PS model are you getting?

Yes, PES is out. Now toddle along to that thread. Me and Elvis are trying to have a conversation here and you are like a bad smell.
The disc model even though I rarely use the disc drive as I tend to buy most games digitally now because who wants to change discs?

Definitely. I've got a new pair of trainers arriving on Tuesday.

Nobody cares about your crappy sports direct trainers. Me and Elvis shop at Selfridges. Only the finest Italian made designer trainers for us.

Same, but I like having the option. If they offered a bigger storage option for digital version would have got that probably. But if it’s £100 difference, I might use the money on extra storage as prices for that are going to be steep.

I’m hoping 825gb will be enough for around 8-10 games at any one time which should be enough for me. I’m wanting to pick up the pulse headset at launch aswell so that’s probably around the £150 mark.

Disc edition is the way to. I still get my games on disc and then sell them if I don't want them any more. Digital not only takes this option away but the games tend to be more expensive in the first place.

I hope they boost the transfer rate of downloads from the PS Store. I get like 3-6mb/s compared to an easy 12-13mb/s when downloading porn. Why is the porn industry always at the forefront of technology?

What ISP?

You should try downloading PS3 games these days. Sony are definitely trying to kill the PS3 without actually killing it

Virgin, ironically.
I’ve had issues with virgin recently. I have to keep disconnecting from the WiFi and reconnecting to get a signal. Annoying. They’ve already replaced their hub 3 once but hasn’t made it any better. Reading online apparently it’s a sack of shit.

I use a power line to my PS4 so I don’t have any issues with a wired connection. But phone/MacBook/iPad is incredibly annoying.

For people who think it'll be £449 and £499, I think there's no chance.

Sony have the opportunity to create an incentive for people to buy solely from them and get all the profit, rather than through other sales/second hand sellers.

If there's a £50 difference in price, I definitely won't get the digital version, as it's not really worth the savings in comparison to being locked into Sony's store, whereas if there's a £100 difference, I will definitely be considering getting digital.

I'm hoping there's a larger storage already included version e.g. a 1.5 TB edition, even if that's £200 extra, I'll be getting that.

Running out of space has been my biggest annoyance of current gen.

Yeah I'd expect at least a £100 difference otherwise what's the point as you say.

Depends also how much the PS5 production costs are. I'm guessing Sony will sell both at a loss anyway, just depends how much they're willing to lose per console to begin with.
