The thing that annoys me most about modern gaming is leaving things out that would normally be in the game and then charging you £2.99 or whatever to unlock it. Piss take.
What they need is a 4 player split-screen Spyro the Dragon (original trilogy Spyro) with a big online mode.
It's shocking that the best game of all time gets so little attention.
No wonder I offended you the other night without even meaning too!
I'd love to play a 2.5D(?) remake of Super Metroid. I can't tell you how much I loved playing that game.
I actually laughed
Such a good game though.
More Spyro, less shooters! More Spyro, less shooters!
More GTA3, less GTA 4! More GTA 3, less GTA 4!
More Mario Kart, less Gran Turismo (est release 2039)!
More Unreal Tournament 2004/Time Splitters 2, less Unreal Tournament 3/Time Splitters 3!
More MGS 2-3, less MGS 4!
Not all will agree, but the last gen were much more playable. The only games that have improved in gameplay over the last generation was FIFA (which turned into Pro Evo) and COD
All in all, Sony have clearly dropped the ball which is sad for me as a PC gamer as Microsoft cleaning up the console market will mean no competition and the gaming market will stagnate.
I'd like to know the creative genius behind these game and industry changing ideas. I reckon they could've done immensely better after a session on the best 'erbs.
Could be Weaste?
SHAREbuttons, flashing porno lights and PC-innards sounds well up his street.
Plus, wasn't he a huge fan of cloud gaming and not having backwards compatibility?
Hehehe
Did you know just 15 people made that? (9 of which were main stays, the others additional bits).
Anyway Metroid Fusion on the GBA is pretty good, and Other M on Wii is pretty awesome too.
Quoted for this page, you know just so someone else might ask Weaste a question or three
Metroid should never ever have been an FPS. I bought the GC just to play Metroid... suffice to say it left me very disappointed.

Well, whomever came up with the ideas, whether he be arrr Weastey or some other spastic, he's probably not a gamer.
Other M isn't one of the FPS ones.
But I liked the primes, they are very good games. However they should have had the original series carry on too, then we'd have the best of both worlds

Yeah but Randall thinks Halo 4 was a challenge. But yeah MP wasn't difficult at all.
I don't know about "share", personally I'd never use it but there are loads of people who probably will, the ones that spam the social networks and youtube with shit.
Now, the streaming thing could be interesting. Watching someone play a game has actually potential. Twitch tv and similar sites are gaining popularity, sony are on to something here. Let's see if they implement it right.
I never said that. I said it was similar in challenge to part one. None of the halo games are hard though.
Metroid prime is far harder than all the halo's
It's being reported that the games shown so far are only at the alpha stage (whatever the feck that means) and have up to this point been developed on only 1.5GB, meaning that what we will get at launch will be far far more impressive visually than what we have seen so far.
This thread seems to be one of the only places where people aren't creaming their pants over the PS4 specs.
Anyone else remember when the PS2 specs were announced and someone from LucasArts claimed the polygon count was enough to have character models similar to Jar-Jar Binks?
I swear I saw that in a magazine at the time
Why did they ditch CELL? Too complicated and expensive?
And all the hair videos?
It happens with every console on every generation to be fair. This is no different, except for this time the opening games aren't even that impressive looking at all.
That's because:
a) That's absolutely bollocks about the 'far more visually impressive' thing. It just doesn't work like that.
and
b) Most people here seem to actually like games, and don't fall for the same old bollocks about power and all that shit hype surrounding this. It's all very refreshing actually, I'm proud of the guys here!
You can see for yourself, as can everyone else, it just isn't that impressive at all. I know you want to really like it, and that's cool, but since I'll own one (and probably before everyone else if I take up that option) I just like making people aware of what they are buying. Cut through the hype as it were and point out that this is really a sucker generation designed to shape cloud and social gaming.
Have you bought a Wii U yet?
Not yet, but the second they impliment a permanent SHAREbutton onto the screen and disco lights, I'm there
They couldn't get the share button to work with it
I see!
The thing you have to recognise about Lambs here is that he's Mr Wii-Titan, a funny breed, someone that fecks hot 18 year olds and 80 year old grannies. The 35 year old in her prime doesn't interest him one bit.
