I'm looking at getting my sons playstation VR for Christmas. They have a standard PS4, is it just a question of getting the VR, move controllers and camera and away you go or is there more I need to know?
Yup, that's everything except for actual games. Although there will be a demo disc with about 9 demos on it
There are new updated versions of the camera and move controllers coming out along with the VR headset.
I'm not sure yet if there will be a bundle with all the bits.

Haven't had a games console since PS3. Basically want a high end Blu ray (whatever the best is now, 4K is it?) which PS4 should i get?
Both are the same as your PS3 blu Ray player.
Xbox one Slim has the 4K blu ray player and is £200 at Tesco with FIFA.

Totally depends on the exclusive games you'd want to play. If you interested in Halo, Gears and Forza then Xbox is for you. If you interested in Uncharted, Ratchet, Bloodborne and Horizon then PS4 is for you.
Some games run better on PS4. Microsoft are releasing a better console next year though.
If you want a cheap console for 4K blu Ray, play a bit of FIFA and COD then Xbox is for you. As those games run the same on both system.
Yeah literally maybe a bit of Fifa and COD, but the future-proof version of blu-ray or whatever the next iteration will be (blu-ray 4K?) is key. Sounds like I should be looking into Xbox systems?
Yeah. If you looking for a 4K player then Xbox is the answer. As the current and new PS4 won't have it.
Standalone 4K UHD players are quite expensive. Where as the Xbox slim comes with one and is £225. So I would suggest that if you only playing FIFA and COD.
The £200 bundle has expired. But for £225 it is a great price still.

That's really a list of UHD movies out currently or coming out. So not much, but should improve in the next year.
The Xbox slim and PS4 Pro support 4K Netflix. One of the reasons Sony didn't include a UHD player as they believe streaming is the future.
4K is rubbish. Mostly a marketing ploy. I wouldn't base my decision of a console or TV upon it.

Yep. All retailers jumping on it. Managed to get a 1 TB PS4 with fifa 17 for £179 from Tesco Direct. Plus there was a loophole on the site where you could add Uncharted 4 and Ratchet and Clank for free so got those with it too
I was going to buy fifa 17 anyway and one of my controllers is broken so worked out pretty well in the end.
Missed out on R&C and UC but happy with the price for FIFA and the PS4. Picking the console up tomorrow but have to wait for the game to be delivered.

I think I managed to get through on ShopTo last night. Was absolutely bonkers and took ages, but I've had confirmation of payment so here's hoping.
Bargain prices for PS4. Effectively costing £110 as FIFA is £40 on its own.
