classic sam. they love me, tbh
Now i've got my PS4 set up, it seems like i really need to order these. I think my room must just be on the edge of the range of the router so it works partially but drops fairly regularly.

Order them then, or go pick some up from PC World or Argos or something.
They are well worth it, trust me.
Not into FPS, upset about no division? Finally getting mine on Tuesday!
Let me know if you know of a better deal than the current one I've found which is the console and Watchdogs for 329, doubt there's much better out there (every other decent deal seems to be with Destiny and I'm not into first person shooters). Bit of a bitch that I've got to also spend 40 quid on an extra control but that's life.
Also just realised The Division isn't due out for over a year
Well, the only thing I can really point out as negative for now is the fact that the game selection is limited and ps4 isn't backwards compatible...Mine has finally arrived. Spent the last half an hour downloading updates and creating accounts/sign in so far. Slow going, but hopefully I can get a game going soon.
thats ok. Got Destiny to keep me busy and then TLOU for when I'm doneWell, the only thing I can really point out as negative for now is the fact that the game selection is limited and ps4 isn't backwards compatible...
FPS (shooters in general) on console is just not my thing (unfortunatly). However, GF loved TLOU! Got any similar games coming out soon?thats ok. Got Destiny to keep me busy and then TLOU for when I'm done

Fair enough, but surely what's the big difference? The Division is a third person shooter...

One's third person and the other is first person mate?
You're not the only one. I've played them all, Silent Hill, Outlast, Amnesia, etc, but this demo was something else. Playing on my own I had to gather all my courage just to move forward. I played most of it with a mate and still freaked out when... well you know when if you've played that far. Once you get to the end though, it isn't just your fear that will keep you from completing it. It seems nearly impossible to complete. Thank god some people found a pretty reliable way to complete it or I'd still be stalking those halls. No!!!!! Couldnt handle it. Got to scared if i am honest with you. I have played it twice but i am taking baby steps. Me and horror dont mix. Enjoyed it though.
Hoping to buy a PS4 soon, ideally by the time FIFA comes out. Few things I was hoping someone would be able to help me with;
- Can you still download 'classic' games on the PSN store (like Metal Gear Solid), or was that only for PS3? Had an Xbox360 and that was probably the main thing about friends' PS3s I was jealous of. Would love to play MGS 2 again on a proper console...
- Do people think I'd be better off buying one now for £325ish or waiting till FIFA comes out and hoping there's a better bundle deal?
- What games are worth buying straight away with the console? I know next to nothing about gaming these days, hadn't even heard of Destiny (any good?) until all the hype with its release last week.
Ta redcafe!
Gah, damnit. Cheers for the advice anyway mate.- No......not yet anyway, PS Now is a streaming service in development that may offer it in the future but who knows, right now no.
- If you hunt you can get a bundle for £299 somewhere, not with FIFA but with a decent game.
- The Last of Us.
Buy a Vita and you will have access to all those gamesGah, damnit. Cheers for the advice anyway mate.
I'm looking at getting the this little beauty on finance as i'm a little broke at the moment so was just wondering if there are any good deals out at the moment? Also was wondering whether there is a likely price drop in the not too distant future?
Edit: Just read @Leg-End post a couple up and he says that there are deals with a game for £299, any ideas where i might find this as the lowest i can see is £320 without a game or £330 with destiny.

The Division is a third person shooter...
Could you clarify for me whether there is a single player campaign or is it just an MMO? Seems to be all multiplayer from what I've seen so far.
There will be a single player mode, still an online at all times game though.
Sorry for all the questions but why does it need to be online at all times even when playing single player?
What Corre is describing is a new type of open-world game, a connected, always-online type of open-world game. Again, it all sounds very MMO, but Corre, perhaps at the behest of Ubisoft's marketing department, describes them as "living worlds".
"Not MMOs," he adds. "You can have an experience on your own or with friends. It's a non-stopping world, which is like life. You're getting closer to life.
"The Division will be always-online, because this is how the game is designed. It's a world that's always on and always living. The fact you're always-online is a must. It's the same for The Crew. You can join your friends or not, but something is happening in this world all the time.
"We believe these kind of experiences are great. You can go on playing while not in your living room. You can use your tablet or smartphone to enrich your character or help your character and friends while you're away.
"We give the possibility for the gamer to always be in contact with these worlds. This is something that is completely new and refreshing."
There words:
Sadly we've still got to wait over a bloody year for it
I was the same i couldnt turn that corner. Watched somebody else do it be we couldnt get it to continue for ages and finished it. The room had just gone read with the casket above the hall when we leftYou're not the only one. I've played them all, Silent Hill, Outlast, Amnesia, etc, but this demo was something else. hotukdeals usually pop them on but at that price they obviously go quickly. PS4 for £299 with Infamous SS was at Argos about a week back.
PS4 I can't imagine them price dropping it anytime soon, they simply don't need to whilst its selling at this pace. Both consoles are going to be aggressively marketed over the xmas period, there will be deals out there between now and then if you are willing to wait a month or two.
Not while they are riding high and leaving the Xbone behind. Too soon for that outside of some good bundle deals.Surely there'll be a Christmas drop?
Guys one question. If I buy ps4, should I have to create a new psn account and would have to buy ps+ membership separately for ps4? Means my ps3 ps+ subscription won't work on my ps4?
I'm sure you do, but you know to play online on PS4 they are also charging now too? just a heads up.May be investing in the ps4 soon. My mate is getting a phone contract and I told him I'd give him a tenner a month towards it if he gets one of those deals that has a 'free gift' with it and I'll take the ps4 (he already has one). Considering I will be saving 5 quid on Xbox live subs per month I'll be getting it for a fiver a month, so I can't complain really.
Looking forward to it. Suspect Fifa and GTA V remastered will be my first investments.
