Does anyone here know any good game rental sites? Is Boomerang rentals the only one?

Remote Play works over WiFi for me now. It's incredible, I am 600 kilometres from home playing Watch Dogs.
It's a game changer right? I don't even know how it works so well... how did you fix it? Mine sorted itself out after the last update.

All what titles? IIRC the only current Xbox game I'd even be half interested in is Ryse...

Forza
Fable
Quantum Break
Halo
Titan Fall
Killer Instinict
Ryse as you say

I was also referring to the fact that that Sony have lost a few of their major exclusive titles in the past few years, MGS, FF

Anyway I'm not trying to convert anyone or derail the thread, this is just my preference, and I was asking if there were any titles coming exclusively to PS that might mean it's worth keeping the PS I won

These people have a disease, you can't help them.

Don't think Forza or Killer Instinct are worth much tbh, Fable's on the 360 too, right? Quantum Break and Halo aren't out yet, so they don't exactly "have them".

Well, aren't you lovely.

It just started to work after the update for me too. Brilliant piece of work.

If thats the best its got to offer I really can't see myself getting XO anytime soon. They really do need some new material I feel.

Stop cherry picking bits out of my posts and taking things out of context

Personally it doesn't really concern me if you think they aren't worth it, you asked what titles, I've listed some

"they aren't out yet" ehm, again my original post was asking about games in the pipeline for the PS4 so that's irrelevant

They do have them, deals have been signed funny enough

There's a new fable coming..

I assume from your replies that you can't actually offer any information on what I asked, so why bother drawing people into a debate on Xbox or PlayStation in a PS4 thread

Well, aren't you lovely.

Not really sure what this has to do with you, he slighted me with a somewhat less than humorous remark so I did the same

Take your XBone fanboy shite to the versus thread.

feck me are you an actual retarded

Read the rest of the fecking posts you moron

I know you wont so I'll get them for you shall I?

Anyway I'm not trying to convert anyone or derail the thread, this is just my preference, and I was asking if there were any titles coming exclusively to PS that might mean it's worth keeping the PS I won

I've just won a PS4 earlier, I already have XBO

PS boys is there anything in the pipeline that's not due out on XBO that means I should keep hold of it instead of selling it on?

There are plenty more, I just hand picked some of the ones I'm looking out for, E3 we will know more about upcoming games. You can see a full list here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_4_games

If you are asking why keep a PS4 when you have an Xbox One I'd also have to point out the obvious power advantage held therefore better looking mutliplat titles.

To be honest it's not worth it, he seems a bit fanatical...

Same as that, shame though, I'd like to play Quantum Break. Not enough to buy a bone, of course.

It is a shame. I've always had both consoles and its the first time I'm not interested in getting both. With the XO being under powered, multiplatform games will be always purchased on either PS4 or PC and with the PS4 having the better studios for new exclusive games, not to mention the influx of Indie games on PS4 it doesn't really leave the XO as an option at the moment.

They're don't seem to have anything in the pipeline either, other than Quantum Break (which does look interesting) at the moment.

A really important time for them at E3 I feel.

Take your XBone fanboy shite to the versus thread.

I don't know, its always a bit funny seeing buyers remorse when it comes to XO owners. They're like a different breed.

Not to mention there's studios that haven't announced what they're doing yet but will be working on something no doubt. In terms of exclusive games, Sony is the place to be I feel. Especially when you look back over the last 2 - 3 years on PS3.

Correct, which is why I laugh at the people that like to say the PS4 has no games or won't have them. Sony has given all of its consoles incredible support right up until the end of its lifecycle.

I was looking more along the lines of keep it because 'this' game is going to be awesome because this this and this, I can see a list of games ofcourse, I came here to ask PS owners who would know what's coming, as I would know what to look out for with XBO releases, not to be treated like a lepper for asking a simple question.

Anyway, the drive club seems interesting from the team racing/managing point of view (though I can't seem to find anything in detail about this after a quick search) and I do prefer my racing games as sim's, FM/GT/F1

I played infamous on my ps3 and just never really took to it, similar to prototype on the 360, neither really grabbed me

Uncharted, looks great, really well done, but again as above I don't think it's for me, my flat mate played it loads, as an adventure, tombraider style game it's something I never really took to either

I'm set for Fps, as mentioned earlier I don't play much of these anymore, although TF has rekindled this genre for me, it would need to be something with a completely new concept like this to spark my interest

I haven't heard/don't know anything about the other stuff you listed there

You assume incorrectly.

He was replying to me. Also, it was a bit humorous.

Yup, always had both too, and it seems this year most of the best Xbox games will be coming to PC anyway, so I might drift to that as my alternate choice.

There is that other shooter that I can't remember the name of, @Alock1 is mad about it(the Sega/Jet Set style one), the more I look at it , the less I can make up my mind about whether it's something I'm interested in.

Of course, if at E3, they do reboot Battletoads, and not feck it up......

It's a Xbox owner thing I find. There's already lots of quality games out there now which are worth playing and we haven't even had a year of the PS4 yet. It's a really daft argument and I tend not to listen to those people if they say that.

I agree.. but you just said that 'PS4 is the only place to be for exclusives' which is equally unfair to Xbox One owners and especially Wii U owners.

Well, aren't you lovely.

Forza is a big deal to some people to be fair mate. Killer Instinct isn't except really though.

Also, Weaste did say people like him have a disease so I guess that wasn't completely uncalled for.

That's because I'm judging Sony on the last 2 - 3 years up against what Microsoft have done. I didn't realise Wii U was in this discussion, but yeah if you like Mario, get a Wii U.

Microsoft got sidetracked by Kinect unfortunately. In the last year though you could easily argue that MS have held their weight, especially if you only compared the next gen consoles.

Considering last generation, PS3 definitely had the better hand in the last few years. However, you could also argue that the 360 was out a year before PS3 (so you'd expect PS3 support to last a year longer, no?), and then had the better games for another 1-2 years at the start of the PS3s life - you might not agree, but it'd definitely be a reasonable argument, something that many early PS3 adopters complained of. To only consider the end of the generations would be a little unfair, no?

Both consoles are going to have great exclusives. I'm lucky enough that I don't have any responsibilities yet and will no doubt own all of them. Of course, not everybody is in the same boat, or can afford to spread their time over multiple consoles - for those people, they'll get plenty of great exclusives on whichever console they choose. OG Xbox and the Xbox 360 had some great exclusives - MS are into their 3rd generation, so you'd expect that number to increase anyway, and that seems to be where their focus is (exclusive games - it kind of has to be admittedly) then you'd be foolish to write them off and consider Playstation the only place to be.

Yeah, every game is to some extent, but I'm speaking for me. Still, he listed 7 games, which is far and away from "all the games".

I just saw you say they're not 'worth much' so I didn't really know if you meant you as an individual or in general when considering whether they have potentially important titles or anything. But yeah, it won't interest plenty too, but no games grab everyone so...

Yeah, I probably could have worded that clearer, tbh.

Not sure either console has a proper "must have" game yet, really.

Something is happening in 9 days which will put the final nail in the coffin of the Xbone, so don't back the wrong horse or put all of your eggs in one basket.

By something he means PS4 will get another price drop and Xbox One will be forced to have another sooner rather than later. Either way, it'll still get supported by third parties and MS.

I know that one company is ramping up production and the other is cutting down. BOOM!

Microsoft shareholders don't give a shit about Xbox, it's an annoyance. Same with Surface.... they generate little revenue from it. If you understand why the Xbox project was started in the first place, you'd understand that it's no longer really a sensible venture for them. Microsoft have other problems right now other than Sony in the living room - which ATM is not going to be driven by Windows. Maybe in 5 years nothing much will be.

Weaste, your posts have the ability to make me go for a shit.

I'm not sure they will by the time the year is over either to be fair. Next year probably.. though Last Guardian would be a big deal to me, but to the general public I'm not so sure.

They force the crap out of you?! Powerful stuff.

:D

Something like that.

Weaste, your posts have the ability to make me go for a shit.

It isn't complicated. Around 75% of company revenue comes from divisions dealing with computers in the "serious" context.

Windows is under attack from iOS and Android, this cannot be denied; the business division is under attack from the likes of Google - Dynamics was never a huge player in ERP with Oracle and SAP running around; server and tools would not really exist without the business division. That's why so many shareholders would gladly dump entertainment and devices as it's insignificant, bleeds money, and removes focus from the key divisions that actually make money. At a time when Google buys Motorola, strips it of its patents and IP, and then sells the rest to Lenovo, Microsoft thinks it's a good idea to buy the handset part of Nokia! It's called losing the plot, many shareholders are not happy about it, and want a return of focus to the three key divisions. A similar thing is emerging with Sony shareholders than want them to drop the media crap (especially film and TV) and return to the electronics roots. That's probably a little shortsighted though because if they got their act together and combined electronics and media more closely they might go somewhere. It's rather sad to see the world's greatest electronics manufacturer being propped up by its financial services division used as a crutch. "Good morning, Sony insurance, how can I help you?".

The Xbox is important to them in terms of branding and future platforms. It's not purely about the money it brings in and thats why they've stuck with it so far and will continue to do so.

Nothing points to them selling except for pure rumours and everything with merit suggests they will stick with it. I'm not going to concern myself getting into a battle of technicalities on something that isn't relevant.

Brand loyalty is a powerful thing, retarded from a consumer point of view, but powerful nonetheless...
