Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

Outlast is out today apparently. I hate scary games. No way will I be playing that one.

Resogun is still free I think, if you have a ps3 with ps plus you can "buy" the free games now ready for when you get ps4

That game is genuinely scary...I was doubting how scary it'd be but 'kin hell.
 
Do I go into town in search of a ps4 tomorrow, or just order on amazon for next day delivery and hope it arrives saturday... tough decisions
 
Have I missed any of the free games? I got Contrast and Resogun and just got Outlast, it's the first time I've looked at the store and seen anything different there but I assume I've missed one or two? Deleted Contrast before playing it any way as it had shite reviews. Mistake?
 
Just ordered this to collect in store tomorrow :drool: Picking up Fifa 14 aswell. Well it's supposed to be tomorrow, but once I reserved it changed to a larger date range, from tomorrow to Wed or Thurs I think. If it's not in tomorrow I'll try picking one up somewhere else.

Tried it for 10 minutes via Remote Play, brown knickers. Laptop on, Football Manger. United bashed me 4-0, brown knickers. On to the Caf, read up o real football, oh year, United IRL, brown knickers.

Contrast isn't bad, since you've downloaded it once, it'll stay free to download, so worth it later. It's a short but quite good platformer with an interesting story, and I dug the film noir style. It's a bit awkward at times, though.

The other free game is Don't Starve, which is quite fun too, it was still free today, IIRC, but you'll have to find it, rather than have it show up on the PS+ area.

Cheers pal, I'll have a look at that tomorrow. Just had a go on Outlast. feck me that is the scariest game I've ever played. I think I absolutely hated every minute, yet I can't wait to get back on it.
 
Man, outlast sounds awesome! Gotta pick up a new centre speaker for my surround tomorrow too. Oh this gonna be good :drool:

Is it possible to have 2 PS4 in the same house and use downloaded games that one user has downloaded on both consoles??

I completely agree. (considering i'm a RPG player)
I'm soon at 100% achievements on black flag, and fifa is something i pick up every now and then.
I just want FFXV, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Dragon Age 3 to be released tomorrow. Is that so much to ask?!
 
My brother got it a few days back.

Kill zone looks incredible. I didn't expect that.
 
Between BF4, Killzone, and the PS+ games I thing I'll be okay... for now.

The lack of games is a worry. Infamous will hopefully be great but that will only be a 8-10 hour campaign. Beyond that there's barely anything this year. I guess Destiny and Watchdogs but they are both PS3 releases as well so are hardly going to be true next gen games.

How old are you may I ask? This happens every generational switch, and the reason why is the install base of the previous generation. Sony's three main studios released games on the PS3 last year, they can't simply pluck PS4 games out of their arses! It's a comment that really irks me! Should they have abandoned the PS3 as Microsoft abandoned the XB360?

Not at all, just that we won't see 'true' next gen titles for a while, as at the moment games are being developed for the PS3 as well. I don't remember seeing this many PS3 games come out on the PS2, if any bar the Sports games.

PS3 games running on a PS2 would have been disastrous, it just wouldn't have been possible. It's still possible in regards to this generation though, as there's not as big a leap in power between the two consoles.
 
Can still get 22£ credit for Madden off Game...not bad. Should I buy Battlefield with it?

Was quite a few last gen/new gen crossover games for PS2/PS3. I think we probably notice it more now is because this is the first time EU have got consoles right at launch.
 
Tempted to purchase but I'm not a big gamer anymore.

Besides Fifa, Battlefield, and COD I'm not sure what I'd play as I haven't taken much interest in new titles. I played the first Killzone and never really got into it like with other games. Any news on when Gran Turismo is coming out? Any other decent racing games like Formula 1? Can't they just remake wipeout?

Still not great news IMO, I bet only a small portion will be decent. And there will be a lot or shit psn games in there too.
