Not forgotten about the player, but I recently read an article about controversial incidents involving footballers and completely forgot Anelka was sacked ( and even played for W.B.A) for making Nazi gestures when celebrating.
Oliver Gill if we can ever call him a proper footballer. Was reading about a not very good Japanese player who retired at around the age of 20 and it made me think of him.
Always a huge question mark over how much David Gill played a part in Oliver being at United although he did win the United reserves team player of the year award. Had stopped watching the reserves by then, was it deserved or down to who is dad was?
If it was guess he could have carved out some sort of football career even if it was at lower levels.
Edit to sday of course he had options and has probably made some serious money by now in the finance world.
