Players you DON'T want us to sign this summer!

Dani Alves- don't think buying 32 years old player in a position which requires super stamina is a good idea. We need first choice RB, Valencia is good enough for a cover.
Cavani, Higuain, Gaitan, any Dutch player except maybe Robben.
Bale- I'm not sure. He would be a misfit for van Gaal system, and he has reached his ceiling I reckon. Would rather take Reus or Sterling.
I'd be happy with Ronaldo but I don't think it makes much sense to spend loads of money on him at this stage.
 
Ings - :lol:
Kane - the jury is still out but he is definitely overpriced now
Benteke - still don't think he's quality, too sporadic
Gaitan - again? :lol:
Milner - a quality player, but we have enough fillers
Sterling - awful hair, ridiculous running style, overpriced and overhyped and ex-Liverpool
Higuain - not good enough
Clyne - I don't think he's good enough, but maybe he will be ok
 
Benteke - Another journeyman striker who has looked good at a lower level club. You get a few of them every season, they rarely make the step up.
Milner - I think he is a good player but we can and should aim higher.
Cavani - Think he would just be another Falcao.
Alves - God no. Too old, and never actually been that good a defender.
Ings - Same sort of deal as Benteke/Milner. Not good enough.
Dybala - Standard overrated FM prospect I reckon. Could be wrong, but just my impression.

Milner - squad player, we need better
Ings - not good enough, better options out there
Higuain - good striker, still bottles it when needed the most. Would be too expensive

Gündogan - Same like Hummels, not good enough at the moment, i'd rather have Bastian
Dante - shit and too old
Gaitan - no comment
Miranda - too old and this season injury prone
Kane - a season too early now, lets wait a year
De Jong - not good enough, too limited
De Vrij - too expenisve, better options out there
Van der Wiel - shit, Valenica is better
Cillessen - not good enough, better options out ther, cant save a penalty to save his life
Handanovic - not good enough, lapses of concentration
 
Out of the rumored targets, here are a few:

Hummels - don't rate him as much as others
Bale - not at any price greater than 50M
Ronaldo - I'm a Ronaldo fanboy, but, no, I don't want United to sign him at this stage of his career
Ings - average
Higuain - don't rate him that highly anymore
Kane - don't rate him as much as others
Gaitan - tired of the rumors; he's not that good anyway
Cavani - don't rate him as much as others
Clyne - we could do a lot better than him

like its really not that stupid to not want a 30 year old for 100m. Financial fairplay is out the window and we have limited cash vs opponents with unlimited cash again, we need to make the money count more than chelsea and city and buy players that are going to be top level still in 2 years time, because we can't replace 20 players every couple of years with other world class players

Cillessen/Handanovic (not when Cech and Begovic are available)

Plenty of other players like Ings and Clyne who I wouldn't exactly be thrilled at signing, but not dismayed either.

Only Hummels springs to mind, not sure he's actually that good and given his recent fitness record and the price he would cost it's got disaster written all over it

Since signing Depay I can't get excited about any of the players who're linked with us. Most of them are barely improvements and the ones who are have other circumstances surrounding them that makes me uneasy.

I need some Muppet juice stat!

Bale - won't suit our style and would cost too much for what he would be worth
Clyne - not top level
Cavani - simply don't rate him
Hummels - he's good but we need defenders who can stay fit
Dani Alves - he'd be here for the big paycheck and nothing else
Strootman - injuries and just not good enough in my opinion. Never convinced me.
Gundogan - i rate him but i worry about his injury problems. We have enough injury prone player and i would prefer us looking at players with a good injury record
Cilessen - not on United level now and nothing suggests he ever will be

You wouldn't have Pogba at United? :wenger: Ricardo Rodriguez is class as well but I guess that wouldn't make sense since you've already got a young and promising LB.
