We'll end up with Vardy

You joke but it may come to that kind of stop gap signing. Don't forget Jose didn't really have a top notch striker in his first season back at CFC so he has form for not buying for the "sake of it"

No he doesn't.

He was obliging with FFP at the time. The club also wouldn't let him sign another striker as they had three on the books at the time.

What can PSG offer Aubameyang that we can't, other than the fact he was born in France?

These next three-four years will be his peak, I don't understand why he would want to not want to give the Premier League a crack and waste them in Ligue 1.

So he can win Ligue 1?

What looked like a done deal is still not signed sealed and delivered and now reports in today’s Mirror suggest that Manchester United are back in the race for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 27-year-old has been talking to French giants Paris Saint-Germain and a deal looked to be in the offering but it’s understood that personal terms are yet to be agreed. The journal states that Italian football journalist Emanuele Giulianelli understands that United boss Jose Mourinho has personally spoken to the player over a proposed five-year deal at Old Trafford as he looks to bolster his attacking options this summer.

With Wayne Rooney edging ever closer to the exit and Zlatan Ibrahimovic recovering from a serious knee injury, Mourinho wants the Gabon international to lead the line next term along with another big name signing.

With Antoine Griezmann now staying put at Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata is thought to be the Portuguese tactician’s primary choice to link up with Aubameyang and form one of Europe’s most potent attacking line-ups.

feck attempting. We should do a hostile take over....

We've got more chance of seeing a King Panda's hard on, than this lad playing for us next season.
He's desperate to move to Spain, by all accounts. Phenomenal player when he's on it.

Why must you do this to us?

Too good to be true, he is in my muppet signing trio (Griezmann, van Dijk,Aubamenyang) so much better than any of the other strikers we been linked with like Morata.Has pace and scores lots of goals.

For the price he is quoted at, we would be stupid not to try to get him. Especially as moratta and belotti would cost much more and neither are as good as Aubameyang

He may not be interested in joining us, or moving to England, or Jose may not want him.
