I think he's going to be a CB, but we missed him so much when he had to leave central midfield. He was so crucial there in our first half performance always getting to players like Ramsey, Cazorla and Ozil in the space between midfield and attack where they do all their best work. That was the best example of a central midfielder snuffing out danger from our midfielders this season, Fellaini should take notes

Did really well. I feared for him after the yellow card and position change, but he handled it well. Really disciplined work.
Yes, that's true, but spacial awareness is still lacking. He has potential to grow in role, but he shouldn't be considered as a CM regularly. It's a weird one because he does well in the big games as a CM.

I don't think I've ever seen a player play that well in two different positions over 90 minutes. Truly outstanding performance.
Seeing him dominate a quality midfield like that makes you wonder where his future lies. Certainly, some of that brute energy goes to waste at CB.
