PGA and European Tour Golf 2015

Big fan of the course so far. Five under clubhouse lead is a little generous, mind you. Toughen the pins for tomorrow and make them sweat.

Anyone got a link to a scoreboard where what player has scored what on which hole? Can only find overall ones at the momento.

Absolute nightmares by some in the bunkers here. Some poor soul kept landing in his own footprint.

Ah yeah so it does, still a bit of a trek to see which holes people are generally struggling on though.

Tiger having a stinker so far.

Two commentators have now said Tiger needs to go back to Butch or Hank, but preferably Butch.

I hate seeing him like this :(

It's getting to the point that Monty is genuinely spoiling my viewing experience. There's no other word for what he is, a complete cnut.

Fowler, Woods and Oosthuizen could be the worst three ball of the day, incredible.

Considering the talent in that threesome yeah It is. In fairness the course is playing a lot harder now than earlier today. Also, playing with Woods isn't easy, not like before when people were scared of him, now I think his mood and play is infectious, the crowd following him are really disruptive too, shouting some really random shite (more than usual) every time he hits the ball.

Actually mentioned something similar to my dad earlier on. There was one hole he missed a short putt, walked incredibly slowly and deliberate to pick his ball up whilst muttering something. Simply has to put the other player off temporarily.

Great bunker shot by Woods there and nice to see him smile again.

Links courses always play harder in the afternoons once the greens firm up, makes a decent opportunity to make some money backing morning players to be first round leaders. Had Patrick Reed and Johnson on today so nice profit. Course will play more difficult tomorrow I imagine.

You know yourself if someone is having a bad game and bitching, if you aren't feeling 100% it will start to rub off on you. The crowd feel it too, him being so anxious will spread through his playing partners and the crowd.

Woods also can't catch a break, that wasn't a bad tee shot and it went 6 inches off the fairway in to 6 inches of rough ffs.

Tiger struggling massively, I really hope he finally grows a set of balls and plays through it. The only two things he can do is grind it out through tournament golf and go back to butch.

Taking months out and playing 3 tournaments then taking a break is killing his game. He NEEDS tournament practice, it's a mental thing as much as anything now. He feels nervous and loses his tempo. It won't come back from hitting balls in his back garden.

Just read about Jason Day, bloody hell.

Yeah apparently it's vertigo, he had it recently at the Byron Nelson too. I can't believe the bunker shot he played when he got back up, he was never right to play after, really. Hope he's ok, he's going well at -2.

What's been wrong?
Show Reed, Phil, Dustin, Montgomerie, Rory, that 15 year old then go for ad. Rinse and repeat. For example I don't think they have shown Dufner once tonight, I counted twice they have showed Snedeker. Stenson a few minutes ago had a par putt, after the putt Snedeker walks up to take his putt.....ad break and they never even bother to come back to it. I think it's been abysmal.

I like Kuch but I'm off the wagon. Had him in our Masters pool last year and he was masterful for the first 3 rounds then became Tiger Woods during the last round. I'll never forgive him for that.
It's true man punting golfers will break a man's heart! I only did a three ball accum for interest, Dustin, Furyk, Dufner and Stenson so here's hoping.

I was at Chambers Bay yesterday and today. Not sure how it came across on television, but it wasn't a very fan friendly course at all. Saw plenty of people eating shit all day. Funniest was when Matt Every's caddy took a spill on a hill. Golf bag goes flying, followed by a string of f-bombs. Then yells at the nearest marshall someone was going to get seriously hurt.

Fair points. The coverage has been strange, similar to that of what you'd expect of the final day with just a select few being shown. It has been disappointing in terms of who they have shown I'd agree. Shane Lowry got a lot of air time bizarrely.
Very nice to see they didn't show any of time pretty much after the first few holes.

Plus you get all his personal marshalls that line the fairway, I suppose they'll be used to playing with him not but a lot of players complain his is the slowest player on tour put gets away with it because of the crowd.

I would love to see him back at his best but when you watch him address the ball he just doesn't look confident at all. Especially at the level they are playing you need to be certain about the shot that your playing and confident with your ability, this course punishes a shot that's played a couple of yards off line.

Monty would ruin a good shit.

Oh what a lovely drive, no more than 30 feet from the pin.

It's 47 feet away.

Like I said, it was close.

I missed that same putt earlier today, I hit that drive today, I was on the range with him today, I was ......

Never a major winner Monty!
