Hmmmm. He beat me both times last night, so I may have lost my (previously negligible) powers. Though picking United to my Milan and Madrid to my Athletico didn't help my cause either.

If we all join this community I keep harping on about we can create league/cup that the game will track of for us. I'm enjoying this game despite the players having the running style of UAE's white Kangaroo.
I'd be up for losing to you all onlice, but I can only play when nobody else is using the weak internet connection so usually late at night or early in the morning.

Really enjoying the Become a Legend mode this year. It's the same as last year but I'm actually getting into it this year.
Got picked up by West Ham after scoring the only goal of the game when the scouts were watching. Took me 4 weeks to get into the first team and haven't looked back. Halfway through the league season and I've scored 11 goals. West Ham are in 3rd place 4 points behind United and the 1/4 final of the cup where we're currently beating Chelsea 2-0 after the first leg. I've also had 12 motm awards. Good times.

What level are you playing on? If you're playing on the hardest level, you must be really good, or it must be a lot easier this year.
I was originally on the second highest level just to get used to it but I got signed by City and it was too easy so I started again on Top Player. It's all about slow dribbling followed by sudden bursts of speed when you get the ball. If I'm in the box I hang back and wait for a rebound which almost always come. Keep passing the ball and track back and it'll always bump up your rating. Have an average rating of 7.3.
Might have to try your style of play when i start the become a legend mode. Your doing very well.

Some great games there zub. Followed by the worst penalty shootout in living memory. Is it just me or is this new penalty system utter tripe!!?

The penalties are fecking awful.
The only peno's I score are those that I hit so hard down the middle that they almost knock the keeper back into the net.

great games cold zebra. Argentina Brazil was a class game. Though i would make it 2-2 but just could not get that goal. That was a class penalty shoot out LOL.

I don't think I've actually taken a penalty yet. Penalty shoot-outs were always shite though. If they're even worse now, there's even more reason to turn that option off.
It used to be too easy to score a penalty. It could only go one of about 9 places.
Now it's nigh on impssobile to score. As I said above I seem to have only scored by hitting it so hard down the middle the keeper has no chance. Anything else goes miles wide or over. Or both.

I won the international cup with penalties in each and every knock out game. What i find is diferent is that i actually have a hope in saving them now.
CZ leads the way in the Redcafe community with a win average of 53.3% and a goals per game ratio of 2.27. He does leaks goals though as he has conceded an average of 1.4 per game.
Closely followed by Standard18# from the newbs with a win ratio of 43.8% but his goal per game ratio is a poor 0.88. Incredibly Standard has averaged 60.9% possession in his 16 games.
Zub2007 has been rather hit or miss with a win ratio of 22.2% from his 9 games. He is the draw specialist with 33.3% of his games ending in draws which is reflected in his goals for and goals against average which stand at 1.78 and 1.67 respectively.

I was actually aiming my question at the PS3 lot. I can't seem to connect. Keeps telling me to forward ports, which i can't be arsed to try and do.
The game comes out next week here in Canada, but based on the demo I don't see any reason why I'd want to get it. Is the final game much better than the demo?
