It is brilliant, how it scored lower than Fifa is beyond me.
The Master League's brilliant now it's actually structured like a real season. Doesn't seem to be as simple as just buying loads of young players anymore either. Though it's a bit too easy to win the league. I'm cruising it in my first season.
Some of the transfers are somewhat silly. Got knocked out of the CL by Barca, after Kaka scored to put them ahead on away goals...then he got subbed off for Ronaldinho.

I'm halfway through a season with Wolves with my mate in the Master League. We are trying to qualify for the Europa. Currently 6th. It is bloody brilliant.
I like the new types of shots you can do. The last one was just a standard selection and now it's different. Alot better for me personally.
Can someone please help. They're always off form....someone..........please?
Unsure tbh not had that problem. Maybe you've got them set as that? Are all the players down? Subs?
I am so sick and tired of playing against Real Madrid and Barcelona when i go online. I get that Madrids forward line are incredible, but there midfield and defence are not. Barcelona are great but Ibrahimovic can not push Vidic and Ferdinand around like they're children, GRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
I get maybe 1 on good form and a few others on average. The rest are on bad form. Has it got anything to do with mentality, because I transfer listed a lot of players at the very start of the league? Or is it because I don't train them?
Again unsure although in my Master League with Wolves only 1 or 2 are up the rest are either down or the same. Wouldn't worry about it.

Started the new season in good form after signing Niculae who has banged them in (Top scorer in the league) and have lost 2 games from 14.

Halfway through the second season. I sold Owen and started using Welbeck/Macheda in his place, but it's not working. They're not sharp enough in the area. Rooney seems to go through form patches similar to real life, and Berbatov keeps getting injured.
Scraped through the CL group stages with a last minute winner at home to Getafe...Anderson with a side foot half volley after a scramble inthe area...then a 1-1 draw away to Porto. Needed a point, they got through in the last minute but the goalie forced the player wide and I cleared off the line.

Master League is awesome.Rooney is basically a beast in my game and I;m ghosting past players with him. But surely something is not right when I've played about 80% of a season and had not yet got a single penalty....or conceded one.
Got bored of this to be honest. The keeper AI and sheer amount of ridiculous goals I scored/conceded annoyed me
I got PES6 on the PSP yesterday for £3 down an exchange shop and it's brilliant!...anyone got this on PSP or PS2?
My main gripe with PES is the way it changed for the worse with the next gens but obviously since getting a PS3 I haven't attempted to play any of the new ones on the old gens...
Presumably this on the PSP would have all the same features from the PS2 versions?....anyone care to englighten me as to whether I should fork out £25 for it?....cos I'm very tempted.

Smashed Liverpool 4-1 on top player level first game which worried me, seems I've come down to earth a little since
Will wait to judge until I get it home and really put it through its paces, I do have some huge concerns though. Why are all my players just stood watching me when I have the ball? Why when I try to dribble are my players running in quick sand, and yet if I chase an opposition player dribbling, they don't have the same disadvantage? Why when I take a penalty does it just do its own thing, rather than anything in relation to what I just pressed? Why have they taken the short sharp dribble option away, the one I used to use to have a decent first touch? Why does eveeeeery plaaaaayeeer taaakee aaaggeees toooo doooo soooomeeethiiiing I aaaaskk it?!
Not downloaded any patches yet, so will judge properly when I've done that. I've not seen much to explain why so many suddenly think Pro Evo is a cracking game again. At this point I'm thinking the last version was better... but then again as a seasoned Pro Evo player and not some FIFA tart, I'll give it the proper time and dedication before deciding if its truely a good or bad game, and not judge it on the first outing or so

About 80% of people who plays online either uses Real Madrid or Barca though. That bit is a bit irritating as the both of them are terribly overrated in the game.
I thought the response times are quite good Brad. It's just that when you try to shoot or pass while sprinting it takes a bit longer but without the sprinting it does it immediately. And look out for the trick moves on youtube. They are plenty of new moves which makes the game a whole lot enjoyable and the dribbling a lot better although I do find it weird that they have the likes of Alves and Henry being able to pull the moves but Nani and Rooney can't. The one's who are able to pull most of the fancy moves if I'm not mistaken are Anderson and Evra from United.

You're right about response time, I like that there's less but more deliberate use of the speed button in this version. Players like Berbatov are finally useful, it's more about craft than speed. I'm really enjoying working defences, patiently picking holes in the opposition defence

A couple of late winners in that, and I've had to work bloody hard and play well to get that record. But I took the lead in a Champions League game against AZ, got a little complacent... boom I lose the game 4-1!!! It keeps you honest

Ok the game play is fine, going forward, its the right balance of difficulty trying to score a goal (maybe a few too many defender 'gifts'), but usually you have to probe well to score a goal

Finally got my tactics right for Barcelona and Madrid. Just had 6 straight wins. Now if I can do the same for Inter. Anyone got any tactical setups to play against them, that works it would be greatly appreciated.
Finally caved in and got the X-Box live free month trial thing, and am immediately getting texts like "we're all joining the competition at such and such time, make sure you're online" etc.
