Yikes.
What an earth was that though. He was kind of hugging him at the same time as yelling at him.
Yikes.
Maybe time to take a step back from your algorithm??All those misogynist dudebro podcasts are gonna have a field day with this. "See! This is why you can't trust women! They leave the moment things get tough!"
Yes I agree, looks like he needs a break.
I can bet on him not being the City Manager next season.
Someone on the forum mentioned a rumour that he had an affair with a physio recently.
I know it was you Ortega!Looks like he's trying to give Ortega the kiss of death ala Godfather 2
There are times his weirdness probably worked and kept them on edge and playing at their best but now that they've dropped off, it does make him seem crazy. He's the only manager that I can think of who's behaved in a way that made people honestly worried for his health.Don't need to behave like that. Have a word with him in the changing room, odd man.
If the rumours about his personal life are true, I’d imagine he would stick to managing because it’s his best distraction.Yes I agree, looks like he needs a break.

Read that as “the natural hair to Pep”.Would explain what kroenke gave Arteta a massive raise. The natural heir to Pep -- only without the resume, silverware haul and innovation
Maybe time to take a step back from your algorithm??
Just sensing a guy who needs to smell the roses, anti-social media can warp perspectives. You are aware that it's possible to obtain surface level knowledge about a topic without fully immersing yourself in it?

I think Pep went from passion projects to getting paid the kind of money and assets no other manager in football will ever get near. He used to state he needed time out of the game to avoid burn out and he's going against his own dogma now in pursuit of unimaginable riches. No manager can remain at the top level forever, they have a shelf life like players do. Fergie retired at the top, Guardiola should consider doing likewise. Mourinho has gone from club to club trying to find that spark again but it never came back. Pep’s now at that stage.
She probably knows the investigation results and wants out
Seemingly the reason his marriage has broke down is because he's an absolute workaholic which is entirely believable. From what we can see of him he must be impossible to live with.If the rumours about his personal life are true, I’d imagine he would stick to managing because it’s his best distraction.
If UEFA or the PL administrators cant figure out where City's money came from, I doubt if the wife (or her lawyers) can find out where Pep has all his money parked.Wonder if she knows how much he's actually being paid?
I'm surprised they didn't run with "Did Pep blame Ortega for his divorce?".Telegraph running a "Does Pep Guardiola's divorce explain Man City's struggles?" piece. I have no time for Pep and City in general obviously, but what the hell man ... journalism is dead.

I just like the idea of City being taken down by a bitter ex wife having the receipts. Like Capone and his taxes

Yeah, I think the players probably still have huge respect for him given his achievements and status in the game, but seen in isolation this is bizarre behavior from Pep. Ortega is also not one of the most powerful players in the squad. Not sure if Pep could have done that to Haaland or De Bruyne without them reacting.I've said a few times that I've got some sympathy for Pep because he's very clearly going through something but he's acting especially out of order here. Ortega does well not to shove him away and walk off or worse.

It will be really interesting to see whether Pep has it in him to go again. Assuming they win nothing major this year, it would be a sad way for him to end his time there, but it's beginning to look like a break from managing.
“For him” being key words in that sentence.I beg to differ.
Pep's got enough on his hands with City, don't need to be loading him down with Arsenal's issues.Get this guy to a therapist.
Why would he go to Thomas Partey?Get this guy to a therapist.
"I'll take therapists for 200" when SNL was actually funny. Why would he go to Thomas Partey?
