It will happen and it’s a good decision. He will be a massive upgrade on Mata, especially in this setup we’ve been using.
That’s why he will replace Mata with Pedro. There’s also very little chance Mata will play centrally IMO.
Won't be surprised if we get him soon. Wouldn't be surprised if City end up getting him instead. Would positively impact any premier league frontline

I agree. We may may well have Memphis, Pedro, Mata etc as wide options soon, but Young shouldn't be dropped because of a name. Whoever takes Young's place in the team should do it by outperforming him. As it stands, he's been our best attacking player for some time, and should keep his place until that is no longer the case.
Di Maria got 17ish goals+assists last year, Mata 14, Young 6 or 7? Yeah right he was our best wide player.

Only players that deserve to be played ahead of Young are those who work as much as him, link up with teammates as good as he does it, and are fast enough to be kind of a threat on the wing. Neither of Mata and Herrera are real competition for him on the left wing so I hope we stop those stupid "X should play ahead of Young" thing.

While I agree, he was also one of the most ineffective player in our team. And at the end of the day we desperately need end product and Young fails to bring that.
