Well with the way we are currently set up then I can understand that sentiment. However I still hold hope that Van Gaal essentially stops dicking around with our team and plays three in midfield and a front three which means we can better exploit the goal scoring ability of Mata, Memphis and Pedro. If that happens then we can get by with Rooney, Hernandez and Wilson.

Weird logic you have. And what nonsense you talking about Munir in previous post? Enrique gave lot of chances to academy players. Barca gives enough chances to academy players. More than most of the other teams anyway.
 
He could get 9 for all I care, we won't be signing a striker in this window and Pedro will provide enough goals for it not to hinder us.

Assuming it's in Euros I don't think it's a terrible fee?

I don't mean that. I mean considering we submitted our team today for the qualifier, if we signed him this week he wouldn't be able to play.
 
This didn't really excite me to begin with but feck it, with this latest confirmation that he wants out I'm getting my cock out to celebrate.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if the hold up was due to Barca waiting for him to decide on whether he genuinely wanted to leave. He has been at the club his entire life hasn't he? It's a massive decision for him.
