These bloody agents and sporting directors.

All this could be sorted over the phone but the bastards love jetting around the world in person and putting it down as business expenses.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear about this contract being finalised at a summit in the Maldives.

Happens in my job too. I ask one of our software vendors which one of two buttons I should press to perform a certain action, and the fúcker is on a plane over to me before I hang up the phone.

I know that hash chap is just reporting what other people are saying, but I swear the bloke hates us. Remember from the Vidal non saga and the Pogba transfer.

So many on here have small club mentalities. Annoys me they even support Man Utd.

I don't think it's that. High profile international signings from other mega clubs have not often worked out at Man Utd.

It's a pretty obvious PR move on Dybala's part.

He pleads that he doesn't want to leave and wants to stay, so Juve fans don't hate him.

He is "forced" to join us, but then gives us a story about how he's happy to play here and looks forward to a new challenge, and everybody is happy.

Win/Win.
Think you could be right on the part in bold. If he doesn't come here and says he wants to go, there is still a chance he will stay ah Juve then next season that could cause the fans to be on his back for saying he wants to come here, he may or may not want to come. So I'm not thinking too much either way on if he does or doesn't want to come here or not for reasons just stated. Although I would like him here.

He may come here and feel he has a point to prove if Juventus want him to leave that bad and knuckle down and perform well.

He literally said that no one knows what's going on in his head. Bit of a silly comment from you.

It's true too, we don't know how much he wants to come or how much he really doesn't want to come. Therefore any speculation or comparisons with other players is meaningless.
yeah, you have just summed up the whole transfer window, none of us fans know anything about whats actually going on behind closed doors

Because you think it’s 10 years ago where players will play for £100k.

And fail to realize Dybala’s wage request is below what he’d get from PSG/Madrid/Barca (£300k range) because Pogba is getting £290k and setting the bar.

At the start of summer everyone is saying "we need to sign hungry players who want to be here and stop signing players who only come for the money."

Then, despite there being reports that not only does Dybala not want to leave Juventus, but he never had any illusions to play in the Premier League as it doesn't suit his style, he'd rather play for PSG or the Spanish clubs, and that he'll only come if we offer astronomical sums of money, some fans are still desperate that he joins.

Words fail me. Really hoping this falls through. The exact kind of transfer that has got us in this mess in the first place.

I agree, I don't think this deal will happen, but if it does Dybala will essentially be dragged here kicking and screaming. Why are the Maguire and Fernandes deals not being completed, we don't need a mega-talented and very flaky forward who may or may not come good - we have Martial. We don't need an incredibly expensive 10/coming off the wherever/not quite sure where to play him, we have Sanchez.

Once again, Woodward's head has been turned by something shiny, and the needs of the team are not being considered.

The Chuckle Brothers, Beans Boys and the Instagram Duo all in the same side, lawd we would be the Spice Boys of the new century. Souness having a stroke just thinking about it.

Head, meet nail.

It's becoming fashionable to blame Woodward for everything. Do you think we'd buy Dybala if Ole said No?

They can't afford Lukaku, how are Inter going to afford Dybala who is supposedly valued even higher? Not to add, Juve will rinse them being a domestic rival and all.

That's my impression as well, he is begging to stay at Juve.

"Please don't make me go to Man Chest Hair Mr Sarri!"

If that was the case then why would his agent travel to England to discuss a deal with us? If the player has made it clear he doesn’t want to come then I doubt his agent would have travelled to agree a potential move to Utd for his client. He would have said, “thanks but no thanks” to us.

i love how Dybala wants to have a conversation with Sarri, but all the journalists in the world apparently already have the transcript of how it will go. He should just read the caf, know what Sarri wants to say to him and reroute the plane to Manchester.

So he doesn’t to leave Juve but wants £10 million net to join..?

Sorry modmins, but if there ever was an appropriate gif — it’s this.
