Why the feck are people still peddling the crap ‘his heart’s not in it’ Nobody knows what’s going on in his head; he might be thinking he wants to show Juve what they’re missing and become a great at the biggest club in the world! He’s not moving to fecking Fulham!

Its amazing how many reporters and ITK's know at this time of year the inner workings of a players mind, worlds best psychologist's. I mean people change their minds every minute of the day anyway, Ed's job is to try and swing in it in our favour, with money, selling the club or hookers whatever it takes to "negotiate" a deal.

This meeting with Sarri better be quick. I want a flight to track!

It would be very fitting of our club these days to drag a player here kicking and screaming. Ed giving them some cash to wipe the tears

I hear that Sarri only replied ‘tentative’ to the meeting invite and suggested another date, at the beginning of next week.

Kepa will no doubt have the final say on any decision Sarri makes anyway so all eye's on the Chelsea keeper :o

It's more than 275K. He is on 7.5 million Euros after tax which is 6.8 million pounds. 30% increase means it's 8.8 millions or close to 9 million pounds after tax.

That's 17 million before tax, which is around 320K per week.

Goal aren’t reliable.

He is currently earning £213,663 per week Gross (£11.1m per year), which equates to £115,378 per week after Tax.

If he is looking a 30% increase, it means his demands are £277,761.90 per week Gross (£14.4m per year). All wages are detailed in England as Gross.

To give some perspective, Pogba earns £290,000 per week (£15.08m per year) and Lukaku earns £200,000 per week (£10.4m per year).

Therefore, Dybala is requesting £4m more per year than we are currently paying Lukaku.

It's not goal, it's Romeo Agresti, very reliable reporter for Juventus (in reddit terms, tier 1) and Di Marzio also reported same.

Lukaku also earns more than 200K per week going by football leaks. It's around 230K including all but 1 bonuses (which he will never achieve).

Also capology is good site, they are much better than other but not completely accurate.

If he was firmly interested why would he go and speak with Sarri before giving a yes to close the deal?

Because this is a major career decision for him. He is leaving the top club in Italy that will certainly fight for CL this year. In this context you surely would know if you are in the managers plans or not? People need to get real, we finished 6th in our league and have been shit for years. This transfer would be a major coup for us.

Logically if your boss wanted rid of you, you’d want to hear it from him face to face and talk it out firmly. Well I know I would.

I am sorry but this sounds somewhat far fetched. When the sporting director is actively brokering a deal to swap you for Lukaku, and while you read a lot of credible inside reports that you're not in the plans, it's pretty clear you know what the manager thinks.

Even if we agree you're right in this instance and he simply wants to hear it from Sarri, what is there to suggest he actually is interested? As @Lemansky said himself were 6th and not in the Champions League. I find it just as plausible he could try and convince Sarri to let him fight for one year and buy time for PSG.

Obviously id love it if its as clear cut as "were Manchester United and that's enough for any player" but it isn't always like that.

I can understand why Dybala is in shock. Just 1-2 seasons ago he was Juventus golden boy, their future Messi or Ronaldo. Then they signed the real Ronaldo, he took the shine, Dybala had struggled to adapt alongside the guy and suddenly Juventus ruthlessness kicked in, as precise as the Lannister's contribution during the red wedding. Others had suffered the same fate. Baggio, Vialli and Ravanelli (not a golden boy but still a valued member of the team) to mention a few.

I can see his POV in asking for a rise as well. First of all, anyone changing jobs would try and get a pay rise. Secondly United are the lethal combination of a financial juggernaut in a weak position. Anyone would try to exploit that. I am pretty sure that AWB and the runner from the championship had got their pay rise as well when compared to their previous salary at Palace/:random club from the championship:. Having said that, United must be 100% sure that Dybala wants to come to OT. Else we risk another meltdown, in the near future.

I’m just talking about from a human level, most people would want to be told face to face in such situation. It’s that simple for me, I’m not surprised he wants to meet with the man who wants rid of him.

If you think that Paratici hasn't talked about the deal with Sarri before moving on Lukaku or that Sarri can override what Paratici at such late stage of the deal then think again. Conte tried, failed, he complained and he was shown the door. Juventus is not Manchester United. There's a structure, a set of procedures to follow and a hierarchy. If Sarri diverts from that then he'll playing with fire.

I suppose he thought that Ronaldo next season (10 months) will be probably playing in China

That makes the whole idea of Dybala wanting to speak with Sarri even more pointless. If you are correct it's one assumption that Sarri still wants him and another that Sarri will have the power over Patrici

I know this much to be true; I once saw Paulo Dybala play football.

A ball was kicked to him and he controlled it first time.

By my calculations that makes him approximately 447,673 times better than Romelu Lukaku.

Sarri : look kid take hint.

Seriously what's there to discuss, there isn't a louder way for the club to tell him they want to cash inn on him

Look I am no Juventus ITK. I loathe that club....however I am quite versed on how they usually work. They are like the Lannisters of football.

Now in my opinion, rather then talking with Sarri, Dybala is interested in confronting Sarri. When Sarri joined he was all about Dybala being his Mertens. Then Juventus move for Lukaku, Dybala is added to the deal and voila, the guy found himself being forced out. Dybala know how Juventus work more then we all do. He probably knows that Paratici wouldn't take the deal to this stage unless he at least talked with Sarri on the matter with the latter giving the go ahead. TBF I don't fully blame Sarri either. If he named Lukaku in his transfer list then Paratici would probably ask him to sacrifice one or more from the list of strikers he;s already got. However from Dybala's perspective, he must have felt that he was taken for a ride.

That’s not even overpaying, it’s just a fair ask.

If PSG /Madrid/Barca were in the market for him, you bet your ass they’d be paying him in the £300k range just because they can. At least Pogba getting under £300k sets the threshold for other non-goalies and non-Sanchez’s on our team...I’m not sure how people are making such a big fuss out of Dybala’s wage request when it’s fair ask and below what other teams mentioned would likely give him.

Those are the types of people I stop responding to.

I’m all for explaining logically with rationale but if they can’t get past that, then I just move on...they’re the types that just pretend to know something instead of admitting they don’t know anything. I don’t get what’s so hard about that.

*Errr, I’m going to pretend like I know something and spew out random stuff as if it’s facts*

> “Lukaku hates Sarri and doesn’t want to go behind Conté+Inters’ back...I know no reliable reporters have mentioned it but trust me this is true”
How do we know he really wanted to play for Conte just because he said so. At the time Inter were the only team in for him so he could have made those positive comments about Conte just to get the Inter fans to warm to him as he thought the transfer was imminent.

Sarri has no power, a 60 yo temporary manager for 1 or 2 season

how do you know otherwise, have you spoken to him, what did he say?

It's a pretty obvious PR move on Dybala's part.

He pleads that he doesn't want to leave and wants to stay, so Juve fans don't hate him.

He is "forced" to join us, but then gives us a story about how he's happy to play here and looks forward to a new challenge, and everybody is happy.

Win/Win.

I beat he can't wait to play in the Europa cup alongside Fred etc instead of the champions league with Ronaldo etc :wenger::D

Juventus market share, Dybala returns to Turin: Manchester United ready to welcome him

This morning Dybala will land in Turin, in the afternoon contact with Sarri. Manchester United is ready to welcome him with over 10 million a year.
Ratings. Manchester United is preparing to deprive itself of Lukaku for about 80 million euros, while Juventus for Dybala would like 90. On this basis, therefore, the Lady should also receive a small economic adjustment. It matters little. Madama has already taken the most important and also unpopular decision, and does not intend to change it.
This is why, even yesterday, Manchester United had the opportunity to dialogue with Jorge Antun, the Argentine's trusted man, who had landed in London to assess the feasibility of the operation. Request: salary above 10 million net per year. No problem.
The ending appears to be the most obvious. But, embracing the motto of Juventus, Dybala will try to change it: until the end. Difficult for this ambition to go, but woe to take something for granted in the market.

Reported by Romeo Agresti, very reliable for Juventus news.

He literally said that no one knows what's going on in his head. Bit of a silly comment from you.

It's true too, we don't know how much he wants to come or how much he really doesn't want to come. Therefore any speculation or comparisons with other players is meaningless.

Appreciate that answer and having a good discussion.

I agree with your points. Who knows what will go on in that dialogue? What I think is that Sarri will communicate the club line that he is surplus to requirements. Juventus has obviously decided to sell Dybala, for what could be plenty of reasons.

As for Dybalas motivation to come here that will only be speculation. If he signs we will se what kind of character he has. From what I have read he is a very professional player and imo will succeed if he comes here.

I like how United will be "depriving" themselves of Lukaku  (yes I know it's a poor google translate)

Google translating Spanish and Italian papers is just amazing, so much poetry in their articles.

Overpaying player is what we did with Jones, Rojo, Lingard.....
Situation when you give big wage to a player who doesn't have any other offer or any other decent offer.
When you want someone who has other (better) options then with money you must compensate other things. Juve is now on higher level than us. They guarantee titles. They guarantee CL every year. So if you want player, you must pay. Simple as that. Same was with Alexis and City.
