I'd say it's about even and whatever problems we had with getting a deal done, Spurs will have the same issue. I doubt wages are the problem otherwise spurs wouldn't be trying to begin with, so it must be something to do with his image rights dispute, which means it'll be very difficult for any team to get around.
We’ve struggled to score goal and Lukaku had a big part to play in those goals and that’s coming from someone that wanted him out.
Herrera was excellent and if you look at last season Pogbas form dipped dramatically when he wasn’t playing.
Yeah we’ve signed two good players but we’ve lost two key players too. So if it’s not a weaker squad it definitely isn’t strengthened either.

I have said elsewhere earlier that people are incorrectly conflating big money players with bad attitudes – that is not the case, it's just that we have bought big money players wit bad attitudes, i.e. we have failed to do the proper background

Funnily enough, it's a common theme in all sports where for some reason fans convince themselves that transfers/free agency are the magical solution when it is statistically demonstrated that these two things have a high failure rate, the only reliable source of consistent success is player's development, wherever the players come from, and as long as we can't do that we will fail.
So for Ole and the club the situation is simple, improve the under 24 players and make better use of the rest. That's how they will become successful and maybe attract great players who will want to join the club.
Now, I don't think that everything is rosy, I'm worried about the lack of depth in midfield, we are a long term injury and a suspension away from having no bench.

If Dybala ends up there it will be because of Pochettino's management skills and the prospect of Champions League football, not because of Pochettino's mediocre history with the Argentina national side.

So Poch being Argentinean may very well be an important factor in Dybala choosing Spurs (not that it matters now, he hasn't). It isnt the only factor, nor may it be the most important, but it may have been a factor.
The fact he's one of the top managers in the world wouldn't need to be said, imo.
