Paulo Dybala

I think this may be a ploy by our club to force Dybala into a quicker decision. There is too much smoke for us just to give up.

How does only the Telegraph knows this and this being such a big news? I'll wait for more further sources
Werent they first to break the Maguire agreement two days ago? This one looks cooked. I'm glad it's resolved one way or another. We have other targets to press on with it seems.

We dont know what's gone on. If his agent has been in talks with us then surely Dybala must have been slightly open to moving given his demands were met. Who knows what his demands were? Am I right in saying that united own every players image rights but dybala wanted a massive wage aswell as keep his image rights?

It does at the moment seem classic CAF in that one negative report is taken as gospel. If there were a brief from the club don't you think their puppet Simon Stone would be all over it?

Not sure that deal can happen as Juve don't have enough cash to buy Lukaku, hence the notion of a player swap.

Doubt they will sell us Mandzukic in a stand alone deal, especially without a new incoming striker.
They are after Icardi though aren’t they? Which should then give Inter enough money to sign Lukaku and we then take Mandzukic off Juve...in theory at least!

Smart decision by the club if true. Nobody I mean nobody should be begged to come and play for us, either you want it or not. If he doesn’t fancy it then all the best staying at Juventus where he isn’t wanted.

Man Utd pull out of deal to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus in swap deal with Romelu Lukaku #mufc

This is on Sky Sports News transfer centre right now!

Good move, we only need players who want to be here.

The issue it brings though is that we still have Lukaku who's mind is elsewhere.

If Mandzukic wants to join, bring him in but we must look to sell Lukaku before the European window closes in 3 weeks

David Ornstein has retweeted James Ducker, so this could be correct about us pulling the plug.

If true, then I'm glad we've pulled out. We should sort our midfield, which should be a priority.

Dybala wont play unless Juventus changes the management, as he stood in the way of his employer.

He is young and not mature enough if he doesn’t understand.

Then, if he indeed thinks that we are not good enough for him, then he may get fecked.

Plenty of examples of unwanted or want away players from the past, who still played big roles for their club: Beckham @ Madrid and Tevez @ Man City to cite 2 famous examples.

If he stays, they will eventually find a way to use him.

As much as I cannot stand woodward, we should not blame him if dybala doesn't join us. It's upto dybala if he wants to accept a new challenge and not live in Ronaldo's shadows. If he choses to stay in Juve then I am glad we didn't sign a player like him who lacks balls to be a man.

We won't get anyone else in other than Maguire and truth be told we are absolutely miles off still. Very poor transfer window.

We've not done too terribly. The main issue has been caused by Lukaku being a complete moron and acting up as if hes off, despite no club being willing to afford him. Doesn't exactly put the club in an easy position.

We really needed at least one midfielder though, and we've barely even been linked with any.

Manchester United looking at other No. 10 options after ending interest in Paulo Dybala. There will be no swap deal with Romelu Lukaku. Dybala’s heart not in moving to United, wants to stay at Juventus. Wage demands and agent fees also too high for United

Sky

Dybala option probably gone. We need players who can improve the attacking side of our game. If we can't get a couple in until Thursday, this season will be a very long painful one.

Completely cool with not getting Dybala but we really need another midfielder attacker like Fernandes in this case.

There she goes everyone reporting it now.

Close the thread, another wank transfer window down.

Glad to see we've learnt from di Maria and co.

While it's disappointing, if true, that we're not shipping out Lukaku (doesn't fit our system) and bringing in a phenomenal talent, if we are letting it fall through as we're unsure how dedicated he is to us I'd be delighted. We need players here who are 100% behind the club, especially as we're outside the Champions League, and committed to improving us. Having under-performing stars on massive wages is detrimental to our finances and squad morale (just look at what players are apparently demanding, given what Sanchez earns).

I really hope we do invest further before this window closes, though - we desperately need another central midfielder, and obviously a right winger (though I'm pinning my hopes on Sancho 2020 haha).

This is a good decision and would rather have Bruno.

Can’t see how it helps with Lukaku negotiations though we’ve basically just told inter they’re in a one horse race

Why are people believing it is off so quickly? I thought the telegraph was unreliable?

Definitely a briefing, can understand why some are dissapointed. I'm not dissapointing that he's not coming, rather someone here that wants to be. More annoyed that the club after looking like a bunch of dickheads again with days left of the window. We look so desperate it's embarrassing.

To the Bruno thread.

Still think Lukaku is gone and we'll get manzukic

Good. At no point in this ridiculous saga has it seemed that he had any interest in coming to us. Fans should be happy about this instead of seeing us throw money at another mercenary. If the club is now looking at the correct profile of players then it can only be a good thing, and shows we have learned from past mistakes.

If he had reservations about moving here pulling the plug was the right decision. As much as i would love a player like Dybala at United there is no point if he doesn't feel 100% committed to the club.
