It does still hurt it seems. Also, you’ve got the striker we didn’t need anymore and you payed 17 million for our 4th to 5th CB....

A spent box-to-box nutmeg who made rummenigge curse us 5 years ago and a distinctly disturbed winger who bothers to play one game in ten? We got our latest CL run balancer and our two best players yesterday vs Barca. Let's say both teams work their accounting tricks well and be back when Bayern win the CL, the usual reason we are given when players leave us.

My Mandzukic is bigger than yours and bicycle kicks goals in CL finals. Your 4th CB is our 5th CB. Your stadium name is... the same as our stadium name.

Relevance?

While Vidal certainly has issues this season, let's not act like he has been that way the past 5 years.... regarding Coman I don't even know what you are on about. Same with your accounting bullshit.

Good... greetings from the lalaland then!

Yeah you know...I'm sure this somehow makes sense in your mind, but it just looks embarassing...

nah you are just being a bit thick, which is perfectly fine, text is not needed when we have pictures

Interesting, I can't think of many fits better in the #10 slot behind Lukaku, who did you have in mind?

I agree he's a great fit behind Lukaku but it's with the team in general I'm worried about. He's more of a second striker than a pure 10.. which means in big games, you'd have to either drop Lukaku and use him as a false 9 or go 352 (drop Martial and Rashford) or play him on the right wing in 433.

Pace and power he doesn't quite have, so again we'd be signing someone who is coming into a team which doesn't keep the ball well but expecting him to perform miracles single handedly when he isn't the type of player who can really destroy defences by going it alone again and again. What this team needs is an energetic attacker like a Sanchez who even from deep or counter situations can run at defences and cause havoc as well as have an influence in possession.

He can do well here but will cause a lot of selection headaches. If we do get him or Griezmann.. I'd rather see them at false 9 away from home with Martial and Rashford either side of them.

The thing is we play 4-2-3-1 in the bulk of games and if Mourinho still wants to switch to one of the other 2 formations when we play big teams then whoever we buy for the #10 role is going to have that issue of playing wide in a 4-3-3, but if we played a 3-5-2 then I think Dybala could play behind a combination of Lukaku and Rashford/Martial, as he used Mkhi in that way in against Spurs and Chelsea as he has the extra CB.

Well either way he's an upgrade on Mata and Mkhi.

First time watching him yesterday this season. I didn't see anything special. Not impressed.
Uno the caf has a thing for aethestically pleasing players, even if they are not actually good.

Jose has supposedly told his scout to bring him a magician. I know a guy based in Turin Jose. No need to bother your scouts. Get Ed to cut back on the escorts and Mexican supplements and tell him to ask his masters for some serious bank.

He has ben the most important creative outlet of Juventus since he joined, contributing to league titles and reaching a CL final. He will probably never reach Messi, but he is clearly among the world’s ten best support strikers. Hardly a case of an aesthetically pleasing player who is not that good.

Don't think he wants to play in the PL unfortunately.

Yeah, I would think he’d (Jose) would rather get Ozil as well considering he’s basically wages and a sign on fee. Someone mentioned he has said he wants to play with Messi. Also seen Real have a long standing intrest, but with Agent P on the case anything could happen and realistically there are probably only 5/6 teams that could afford him.

@Adisa it was just a news headline on the sky sports paper talk thing. I think there is a thread where someone has just been copying and pasting that. It was a few days ago so I would check there.

Apparently his form has dipped, has been on the bench and is not speaking to allegri too. Could be an opening we should exploit.

Story is comical. PSG won't be losing Neymar, so convincing PSG to buy Dybala when Neymar leaves means this isn't going to happen.

Don't think he will move to ManUtd, looks like he prefers La Liga.

Griezmann doesn't address anything for us, he's a striker, not a creator, he doesn't offer much creativity, dribbling or invention, that is what we missed, look at how Pogba coming back in turned us from a tumescent team with runners and no creators, to a team banging in 4 again and opening Newcastle up time after time.

As for Ozil, he's a mentally fragile pussy, Dybala has that Argentine grit and that magic in his boots, Mourinho has been interested in him before and he'd be much better suited to play behind Lukaku than Griezmann is.

He's no more risky than Griezmann, you risk big and you get the big reward, as far as how many we need, what we think on the number and what Mourinho thinks are probably two different things.
I’m convinced. And Ozil can join a Russian punk band.

Bit of a classic. Random but devastating

Look at this crazy video. He looks very very good. What's more interesting is that he seems comfortable as feck coming in from the right flank. Which means, if he joins us our right side won't be as impotent as it is now, provided he is made to play there.

I expect a flurry of reports linking Neymar to Real once PSG are out of the CL.

Well it was reported that florentino has had dinner with neymar's dad. Also there have been reports of neymar being not happy in paris and not want to stay another year. No smoke without fire. Neymar supported Real when he was a kid, there is an interview with neymar and coutinho where they both say they love real madrid. I dont think its far fetched he moves to Real madrid.

Why are all the best youngsters these days such annoying twats, if the media reports are to be believed?

Neymar is going nowhere, especially in a World Cup year when he'll be the poster boy for the entire tournament.

If he loved Madrid he would have moved to Madrid instead of Barca. Don't think it's so easy to get out of PSG, Thiago Silva and Verratti both tried and failed.

Yeah looks like there will be loads during CL tie too. Don't think anything will happen though, Madrid surely don't want PSG to activate some of the release clauses.

All left foot, but what a left foot

I don't think that will put off Real. If PSG were to activate some crazy release clauses they'd a) need the player to prefer playing in the French league and b) pass FFP which is probably looking shaky at the moment.

I don't think that will be a problem. This is what PSG president said few years ago.

When Manchester City expressed an interest in signing Blaise Matuidi in 2014, Nasser Al-Khelaifi had a stern warning for any club looking to sign one of PSG’s best players.

“I am not worried because they know that if they touch one of our players, then we will be in opposition to them, we'll contact their players,” Al-Khelaifi said. “We respect all clubs. But if they try to sign one of our players, they'll face consequences.”

I don't think clubs will mess with them.

@roonster09
Yeah, I don't think Real would be too worried. Why would you want to leave Real Madrid for PSG? You're already earning loads and you stand a great chance of winning titles, important titles. If Real get +100m offers for players that they might be thinking about phasing out, they'd probably appreciate that.

I think Neymar will end up at Real.

Does Neymar have a release clause or something? Otherwise why would PSG sell anytime soon when Neymar is contracted until 2022?

If there's the remotest chance we should try, firmly believe he'd be the best player in the league in no time.
