Spanish media is saying that his release clause is close to €240 mi.

Spanish media clearly don't know French law regarding release clauses then.

Neymar, as well as any other player thinking that PSG could be a stepping stone to an elite club are wrong and will be in for a surprise when they don't get their way.

What's going on here @giorno? He started the season so well
Trouble off the field apparently. Big nasty separation from his previous agent who wants money, money, money, new agents(his brothers) acting like they're Raiola, trouble with his girlfriend, etc...

Throw in a natural dip in his form and rumours of problems in the dressing room...

btw, rumour in Italy is his brother offered him to PSG to replace Neymar(who'd go to madrid), and said things to the effect of "i can move him when and how i want", which pissed off juventus something fierce

What's that. Am curious.

I’d play him behind the front 2 if we were to buy him. That 352 would look nice with him in the mix. Maybe even a diamond in midfield.

Sounds like your wish of seeing him in Madrid might happen after all.

I thought release clauses were not allowed in France.
A Madrid based football show host named Josep Pedrerol is talking about it every week.
They are very popular there and close to Real Madrid board apparently.
They have a french co-host named Hermel who is confirming the history about the release clause.
I dont know the french law.

I'm gonna let @carvajal explain who is Pedrerol and what he does and what his show is about

@Peyroteo neymar to madrid and dybala to PSG is the dream. Dybala to madrid the more realistic and still wank-worthy scenario

Is it El Chiringruito? Fairly sure they're a laughing stock in terms of credibility.

Pedrerol became famous years ago because he presented a program (which still continues) and is called "El día después". He presented it with Michael Robinson (the former Liverpool player) and Maldini, a journalist specialized in international football.
Years later, after going to the radio Pedrerol returned, to form the chiringuito. The program is basically a bar meeting with everyone shouting, but it brings together many journalists and former footballers.
There are some culés, D'Alessandro (former coach), Guti, Álvaro Benito, Hermel (friend of Benzema and big defender of Zidane) or Roncero who is one of the bosses of AS and really madridista, a pure parody.
This is Roncero yesterday, crazy protesting because Suárez is protected by the referees.

They also sometimes invite Pipi Estrada (a journalist married to a porn star who gets exclusives in the discos meeting football players) or Inda, former director of Marca.
Although the program is good and entertains a lot at night, is accused of being very Madridista. It is even said that they are financed by Florentino.
For example they used to destroy Neymar and now they are selling the idea that Neymar brings happiness and "is born to play at Real Madrid".
Sometimes they are right, but they often say nonsense.
Things that they said recently:
-Cristiano will renew
-Agüero is waiting for R.Madrid and his price could be 70m€
-Madrid will pay the clause for Kepa if they don´t accept the first offer.

They are clownesque for sure, but i've noticed that they tend to be right when Madrid will buy/sell players or fire a manager. Maybe because Pedrerol is an apologist of Florentino.

They're really not. Pedrerol is a stooge of Flo, but claims to be a culé

I would love to see him link up with Pogba again at United but I can’t get over his comments last year about us. It’s an indication that he doesn’t have the United mentality and therefore as brilliant as he is, I don’t think the signing would work out unfortunately.

We need players who know how big Manchester United is. Not ones who join purely for the paycheck. If Dybala joined, it wouldn’t be because he was a United supporter who grew up watching them and idolising our legends. It would be because Raiola forced him here for the money. And look what happened to Falcao, Di Maria and others when that sort of thing happened.

I think Griezmann, Bale and Perisic would be more “United” players than him. They just ‘get it’ more.

Jesus christ. Raiola is not his agent.

Worse though, assuming Bale gets us more. The same Bale that rejected us multiple times :wenger: Griezmann too in the summer, cant be that keen to join us. He gets Atletico and Barca more i guess.

There are hardly any top players wanting to play for us, money matters more. I doubt Pogba would be here if he wasnt a youth player here. KDB, Aguero and Silva must have been dreaming about playing for City as kids, didnt turn out to be too bad for them.

How can you mention Griezmann after all the Barca news?

Due to his fascination with Beckham, he might find the possibility of wearing the number 7 jersey at a United an attraction.

 Griezmann and Bale have both turned us down previously, that's much worse than Dybalas comments.

If Perisic had wanted too and had forced the issue he'd be here now as well.

Let's face it, we aren't the draw we used to be for players anymore.

Well, we always dominated the domestic market, not really the European or international markets. Obviously since the bottom dropped out of the domestic talent pool clubs like us and Liverpool who are based in less marketable locations have suffered since the Brazilians et al are more keen on moving to London than the north. How city have thrived during this period is baffling.

Weird how backwards football is going. Here in the USA the "popular" towns and cities are all losing any pull they once had. Smaller cities like Milwaukee and others now have similar pull to the traditional large cities and it's interesting to see the opposite in the EPL

Manchester isn't small, its a big post industrial city in the north. Think rust belt.

No, that is trumped by his fear of a drop of rain and a stern breeze.

Hahaha

Exactly.

Bale has shat on us time and time again

Endlessly. He has zero attraction to United and has shown this time and time again.

It’s very strange for a Welshman. But it’s very true.

Manchester has a ton more going for it than any city in the rust belt.

And yeah, it’s also fairly large. By US standards of what a metro area is it’s actually got a very big population as that would be the entire Midwest! Greater Manchester alone if 2.5m+

Milwaukee is about the size of Bolton.

Of course, I was speaking in terms of historically it being a former centre of industry.

Juve Christmas party, Dybala with his long-time, on-off girlfriend sits at the same table with Agnelli and Buffon.

Juve player in sitting with player and representative from Juve at a Juve Christmas party shocker.

You will still sell him, the only question is to who. I reckon he is Madrid bound in the summer.

I agree with you in full but the club being in disarray because the stars are benched 2 or 3 games in a row is bs.

As other posters have suggested this doesn't seem indicative of anything one way or the other. Why wouldn't he go to their Christmas party? He works for them and presumably is friends with his team mates.

the contribution I can give here as a long time bianconero and used to their way is a bit of informed reading about what's happening inside and what it does mean, of course everybody is free to choose who and what to believe :)
