Any source?
Was talking to my best at Eurosport, who isn't much of a football fan, but said that a lots of his news colleagues in Paris had been scrambling tonight to get the details re: Pogba story. He seemed to think that the deal was done with add-ons at 105 million euros.

Doesn't really mean much though. I work in the same area and see people scampering around in a panic to get details only for it to never happen, just covering their bases.

Though maybe I'm just letting my hope that this isn't true get in the way.

Hes a good player but hes not even the best midfield player for Juventus last season, so it will be interesting to see how he does without Pirlo and Vidal.

none of of the twatter noise is from credible sources yet. I'd be surprised as Juve would have then totally emptied their entire candy store in one summer.

That being said, if Chelsea do sign Pogba, it will be an OMG moment in transfer window history as he will be a monster of a player in the PL and it will leave us playing catch up.

Juventus to sell him after they already sold Tevez, Vidal and Pirlo?
Surely not.
Add to that he got a number ten which is a big deal sort of.

Calm down. No chance.

Why would people in Paris be scrambling over this?

Vidal and Pirlo gone.

Khedira and Marchisio injured. This ones a non starter IMO.

I;d love to finish this window off with Pogba, Varane and Stones! Make it happen

His price will only go up with another decent season. They should hold on for Barca to exit their transfer ban and Madrid to fall out of love with one of their midfielders and get a bidding war going.

IF (and I know it's amazingly unlikely) Chelsea sign Pogba, and IF he fulfills the potential he has... In three years time when he's 25(?), with a few years left on his contract, how much would his signature cost Barcelona/Real Madrid?

Pogba to Chelsea is just about done.

No chance.
Juve should change their shirt sponsor Jeep with a text saying "Pogba is not for sale!"... maybe reporters will finally understand that he's not going anywhere. :D
Seriously, Juve management said so many times that they have no intentions to sell him.
He's 22, bright future ahead, they just gave him the number 10 shirt, they're clearly electing him as the star player of the team...
There's no way they would sell him after all this.

I think it's pretty obvious he's not going anywhere this summer, but long term I can't see his future at Juventus. Someone is gone tempt away soon enough, probably one of the Spanish gruesome twosome.

Pogba going to Chelsea, after we lost Pogba for almost nothing, following hot on the heels of Pedro going to Chelsea, after we missed him for a modest fee.

Never mind playing Real's bitch......

probably Barca next summer - I think they would have gone for him this summer but know that he wouldnt want to sit in the stands for 6 months till their transfer ban ends.

I would have thought they'd want him as their Iniesta replacement, switching up the dynamic of the team has suited them well so far. Then they signed Turan so not sure..

possibly - could also see him playing instead of rakitic if he was there though.
Hope all this chelsea rubbish is just paper talk though:
......................Matic......................
............Pogba.........Fabregas........
..Pedro................................Hazard
......................Costa......................

would be a scary prospect to face!

This is probably true, unfortunately there are a few teams that can offer him wages that Juve can't reach.
But yeah, this summer he's not going anywhere, as a Juve fan I hope that he'll stay next year as well, then we'll see.

Football Focus said Juventus agreed with Chelsea to sell Pogba for £62m, but that he refused to go.

Seems like he's only got eyes for Spain.

Doubt that's true, if it is, then Chelsea are being idiotic. There's no point signing Pogba when you have Loftus Cheek.

He'll probably be Real Madrid's marquee signing for next summer. He just has that look of a Madrid player.

I know the game against Portugal was only a friendly but he looked very average, and was probably the poorest performer on the pitch besides the Portuguese attackers, despite playing for the victorious side. Needless dwelling and indecision on the ball, frequently dispossessed, offering little more than a passive defensive presence in midfield. A lot of reminders that he's still young and not yet the finished article. Technically you can see he has most of the tools but he looked a bit unintelligent compared to his compatriots in midfield.

He's got a tough season ahead without form Marchisio, Vidal and Pirlo around him to facilitate better performances.
