Morning Folks :)

The Aussies and New Zealanders are back again to take on the morning shift

Catching up overnight, interesting that Ducker and Castles both posted "pogba done" articles around the same time. Seem to contradict Di Marzio by saying it's taken up till yesterday to finalise agreements, whereas Di marzio said it was up to signatures. However it all looks very promising.

Weirdly, that "hash" bloke which translates news articles is now seemingly claiming some "ITK" info, claiming "he's heard" pogba announcement on friday :wenger:

Hopefully today is pog-day:drool:

If he gets on a plane to Manchester we'll smash 30 pages on flight tracker, 30 pages on his car ride to Carrington, and 50+ for the white sheet entrance and subsequent medical. Relax guys.

After all this hype we're not just gonna announce it out of the blue. They are milking it for all the publicity they can.

Thank God! My eyes are burning refreshing page after page. I don't think pogday will be until this coming Monday unfortunately but I'm sure we'll get the typical he's coming for his medical etc rumours come Friday! Bed time for me!

Guys ... I've had a absolutely horrid bad tooth since this morning. I've been in agony. Headaches, jawaches, at one point I lost the feeling in my foot for some reason. Its been stressing me out. The pain just stopped! I'm OK now!

In the fecked up logic that is the Pogba thread, I believe this means the deal is done. Now I'm going to have some weetabix.

I'd look into the numb foot thing if I was you, you may have muppet thrombosis. Unless it is some kind of muppet radar pre-tooth alert hoof! Pogdone!

New theory: The 48 hours estimate didn't account for Ed getting so giddy about breaking the transfer fee world record that he would put his contract signing hand out of commission for two weeks. He probably had a randy.gif moment for real. Poor guy can barely pick up a bic biro now

Most on here are convinced he is coming and add his name into our lineups just because a few cocks like Castles say he is. These guys constantly make up shit and when they are wrong people soon forget.
He's not coming.
maybe

i think most hold Di Marzio higher than castles.

It's not how many shites they spouts, but what little shites Pogba/Juve/Raiola/United did not say that makes me think he's coming. Juve won't hold back and they must have milked the "We say no to United, feck you" statement if they indeed rejected the offer, Real Madrid won't keep this silences and Perez cna't wait to show his manhood that he manages to land another galactico.

Wouldn't he come in a private jet? We won't know until someone spots him at Manchester airport.

I'm going for the final announcement coming on Tuesday, the 9th of August.

Reading through some tweets, supposedly no new updates from La Stampa. However they say the announcement would be expected soon to coordinate with his return from holiday. I.E the bleeding obvious :lol:

I think the announcement will be today.

… and while we head towards the thread page-count equivalent of the millennium with our eyes glued firmly on a solitary overpriced prize, City continue signing outstanding potential for what are, all things considered, pretty realistic prices.

… hope this doesn't come back and bite us!

Tbf we also have our share of outstanding potential: Shaw, Martial, Rashford, and possibly TFM.

Don't worry. There's still the opportunity for them to blow £50m on Stones, as well as for us to sign other players as well as the Pog.

Didn't we do the same last summer and the one before? Now we need world class players. City already has Agero, Silva, Toure and Kompany.

Yes Mangala and Sterling were bought for realistic prices.

So is the quoted Stones fee. Very realistic.

We already have invested in potential or have started giving them chances (if from academy). Bailly is 22. DDG, Shaw, Martial, Rashford, TFM all have their best years ahead of them. Mkhitaryan, Smalling etc also have good 4-5 years ahead of them.

Last year, our squad one of the youngest (in top 3 I think), while City's was oldest. So they needed to invest in future and trust Pep to develop them. We on other hand need couple of proven players to go with a good young core. Pogba actually offers both, at just 23 he is one of the most coveted players in the world. I will take Pogba for 100m over Sane for 40m right now and it is not for quality but because we need a Pogba that much more to get back in title hunt.

Shaw, Martial, Depay(not great now, but was billed as a massive young talent) etc in the last three four years. Add to that the potential of Rashford, Bailly, TFM plus the fact is that Pogba is only 23 means that our future will look good. City had the oldest squad last season so they needed to sign the young talent. Btw Sane for 40m pounds is not a realistic price. He's as overpriced as Martial was last season, let's see what he does.

We signed a proven top player in Mkhitaryan for the same sort of money as City bought those talented players, spent a a couple of million more on a talented player in Bailly and got Ibrahimovich for free. So what's this about a "solitary" overpriced prize? He'd be our 4th signing of the window.

25M pounds for an agent. LOL. For what? Football has gone mad.
