Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Probably just two kids trying to get a few followers on Instagram and YouTube. They easily have met him, taken the photo with him and go buy a Juve ball afterwards and take the second photo. Even if he did sign it, what was he supposed to do - reject it? Now that would ruin all the "secrecy" to this saga. Nothing story.

What might be more interesting and what they're not tweeting (I've just found it on their snapchat) - They went looking for Pogba and went to the Adidas store - "One of the employees said that Pogba had been there, but he'd left, but he spoke with Pogba's driver, who confirmed his move to Manchester United. He said that he had already been sold."

Obviously, i'm just taking their word for it, but if everyone is getting in a panic about them saying that Pogba has said he's staying (of course he has) then they should also consider that they've said that Pogba's driver has confirmed the move to United.

What?! He's on holiday, why should he cut that short because he's got a new job? It's a ridiculous thought process and one that i'm seeing more and more frequently. He had a long, hard season last year which didn't finish until July 10th. 3 and a half weeks ago.

That would matter to me if there weren't other players who played in the final already back to training for a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't come. I'm not as confident as 99% of the people are on this forum. If i had to guess i'd say there is more chance of him coming than not, but the way this is being dragged out and "it will happen tomorrow", "48 hours guys", "it will be next week now biut it IS happening", etc, its just making me wonder what is going on.

Him signing a Utd shirt meant jack shit and him saying a Juve ball means the same.

Maybe they weren't given as much time of as Pogba? Buffon only came back to training for Juventus about 4 days ago and Italy only made it to the quarter finals.

These players who are back in training, did they play as many minutes as Pogba?

Don't be using Martial and Morgan as examples, Martial played 60 minutes, Morgan played 0.

I think we need a new poll, mods.

What means more? Signing a United shirt or Signing a Juventus ball.

WAIT! has anyone checked the signatures on the two pictures?!

BRB.

EDIT - I have no idea. You can't really see the signature on the ball.

Where is this?

No idea who they are - And they've only got 1.2k followers, but I wanted to give some context to the above post..

Awww imagine their little broken hearts after we announce him

But but but he signed our ball and promised to stay :(

Jesus Christ like he would break the worst kept secret in football to some random guys on the street. "Yea guys that Juve ball is a no go, I signed at United, feck off now".

If nothing else, we've given these guys a bit more exposure and they've helped us along to the magic 1000.

A long, long time ago, I can still remember how those summers used to make me cry.

I knew if we had our chance, we could make those Muppets dance, and maybe we'd sign Sneijder for a while.

But every season made me shiver, with every transfer we'd deliver: Thiago staying with Pep, Fellaini on the doorstep.

I can't remember if I cried when I read we'd gone in for Depay, but something touched me deep inside, the day the Muppets died.

They were singing: Bye bye to that Paul Pogba guy, RedCafe went into meltdown when the news broke on Sky. Those Madrids boys, dressed him up in all white, singing this'll be the day the thread dies.

Now a new thread for Sneijder on loan, and moss side flat for that boy John Stones...
That is phenomenal sir!

Ed Woodward showing his genius once again here

He knows people are losing interest in this saga. He has seen the transfer muppets on RedCafe getting bored. He has read how everyone thinks MUFC and Adidas have missed out on the chance to announce it while interest was at its highest

So he tells Paul Pogba to tell a small gaggle of Serie A fans in New York that he's actually staying, and voila, United announce it in the morning when muppets are tense and edgy

Ed you sneaky dawg you

" And the Muppet King- saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And in the evening and the morning were the PO6DA DAY"

Got to admit, a thread that should've been a shoe in for the classics, should instead be burned upon completion. Things reached fever pitched about 400 pages ago. It's been downhill, both in terms of content and excitement, ever since. Let's hope this gets wrapped up asap, because right now we are the thread stage equivalent of season 7 and 8 of Friends.

Unlike the other classic threads this one is just trying too hard. Everyone is desperate to get to a certain number of pages. I guess... that's what makes it classic? Half the forum is in this thread.

Not saying they do in this case, but I think nationalities mean little in today’s football. Journalists/newspapers have contacts with agents, chairmen, players, other journalists, clubs.. doesn’t really matter where they are based.

The last time the news of a transfer was broken in this regard? I can't remember any.

Anyone who is still worrying about this transfer is overthinking things and probably needs to step outside to get some fresh air. It's done lads, it's only a matter of "when" for the official announcement - not if.

I know we are all being positive and we think the deal is pretty much done. All this delay is because if his vacation. The delay should not make us doubt the likelihood of the signing.
But if after his vacation Pogba joins Juve training, can we believe that something really big and important is missing and pending in this signing and its no more a case of when rather than if?

And when I thought that "are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet" only happens in a shit icecube movie.....

I saw only 1 guy get a autograph off pogba at the adidas store today and he was a Madrid fan.
I asked him if he was going to Madrid and he was convinced pogba wAs heading to Utd.
