Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Give it another month and we will have a better idea of who is going to play where because right now Mou might want more time to see who is good to play in his system. Pre-season will give him exactly that.

But, but what should we do in the next month? Go on, like a holiday? That makes no sense. What about the "we need 7 new players" thread?

This is going to end like so many others. A huge new Juventus deal, or Madrid stump up the cash they are clearly using us to get. Feel free to quote me on this.

Yes, but you were also saying Mourinho isn't coming and LvG is staying for months were you not? Have some optimism my man! In this case it's not tooooooo much of a stretch to see this transfer coming off, If Real dont want to stump up the cash, Woodward no doubt would be.. so it would just be up to the player if he fancies the move back to Manchester.

No one said the life of a transfer muppet is easy. Patience young one, patience.

Haha, I'll give you that. I am something pound a pessimist, but this just smells so much like Ramos, Vidal etc. A huge transfer saga which ends badly.

With Ibra and Pogba, are we going from being the smallest team in the PL to one of the biggest all of a sudden? Still need more pace down that right wing, and then we are looking good. I'm still not convinced that Pogba is the right fit - looks too cumbersome on the ball, sluggish at times and tries to do too much on his own.

We were never the smallest team in the league, not even close.

AS saying Madrid have upped their bid for Alaba while Marca are claiming Madrid are monitoring Hazard or Pogba as their next galatico. IMO they will turn to Hazard and pretend it was their choice rather than losing out on Pogba.

Yuup just like Ramos last summer and Neymar this summer top players around Europe know using Uniteds name in the press as potential destination will mean a huge new bumper contract with their clubs.

Juve are probably willing to match any wages United or Madrid can offer Pogba. Also you can't deny the Zidane influence in Madrid who i know Pogba would love to play for.

The only silver lining in this is City missing out on Pogba who clearly they needed as a straight replacement for a pass it yaya, because of Pogbas agent who is very anti pep guardiola

Renewed? What's going on ere then?

Dont think Juve will be able to match the wages we're offering. Its either us or Madrid and with the lack of propaganda from the Madrid based papers I'm leaning towards us.

There's no new title on my screen, did Pogba sign a new contract with Juventus or not?

This whole 'flirt with United in the press when you want more money' thing is becoming incredibly disrespectful to us as a club. Woodward needs to stamp it out. Doesn't he realise it makes him look like a clown?

No white text?
None necessary , as his name doesn't appear in my username .

It uses up the opposition's resources. I have no problem with it.

Why would Pogba come back here?.
Well, money, obviously. Only Barca, Madrid, PSG and City can compete with us financially. Ashley Young earns more than Pogba (Juve's highest earner) does, they won't double his salary because then their financial structure will collapse. And we are going to at least double it

Plus, while those four clubs can theoretically compete with us it's worth to look at their financial situation today. Barca just signed a ridiculously costly contract with Neymar and I would expect PSG and City to face some FFP troubles as well

I hope I am wrong on this because Pogba is exactly what we need. Having said that, I think that he had outgrown Man United. We're talking about a player whom, since leaving United, had won league titles and came close to lift the CL. Why should he sign with a club who struggle to make it to top 4?

Still 65mil we shouldn't need to spend :(

I see a lot of United fans think it would be a bad business decision to sign Pogba because it would make you look like idiots.

For me as outside observer it would actually be a positive thing for your clubs image. The message to the world would be: "F... you all, we can so we will!"

This is the start of a new United and I'm sure players are excited to be part of it.

Mourinho is a huge pull for certain players and we can offer a lot of money to them and their agents - oh, and we've won a couple of trophies here and there in the past too.

We're still a huge club regardless of what has happened in the past 3 seasons.

What you've said comes across as a bit like shortermism.

I would rather we funded Madrids purchase of Pogba by buying Kroos from them. Think he is more the type of player we need

That's the spirit. Look right now Champions League is the only real drawback we have as a club when compared to Real. But that could change in 12 months especially if Pogba comes here this summer.
1 year of no CL football really isn't that bad. With the wages we are offering it's a fair offset I would imagine.

why? maybe under LVG, but under Mourinho we aren't going to be aiming for a possession based style, it'll be get it forward as quick as possible, and have runners from midfield to overload the box.

We looked like a team of midgets with Smalling sticking out as a sore thumb or a regular sized person. Lvg played fellaini due to his size. We do lack physical presence, which Mourinho looks to address

We had the 7th tallest team with an average of 182.8 centimeters.
