"Breaking news: Pogba undergoes medical visit in Universal Studios amusement park California"

The among his hashtags are "#Imonholiday" and. #blablabla"

The caption he's put under this:

"we catch Pogba with his contract at the amusement park Universal Studios in LA"

It's things like this that have me convinced the fee and attention won't bother him. In fact, he feeds on it. You can tell he's enjoying himself.

Those Adidas ads tho..

They've released an ad for all clubs now right? And Pogba is the only one in the United-ad.. Just saying?
His also the only player who isn't wearing a club jersey, I think in the final video Pogba will unzip his top to reveal the UTD jersey

They havent released an official United ad. I reckon they will as soon as we sign him.
Pretty sure I read in this very thread that they were going to release all the club-ads ahead of the 3rd kit launch, and seing as the only one with the United-badge has been with Pogba..

I'm not saying this is the reason why it's a done deal though. It's fairly bloody obvious that it's done even without any Adidas-ads.

He doesn't need to "stick by his guns", everyone knows this transfer is done and is happening. Apart from a few weirdos in here, and some deluded Juve fans. And the WUMs, but they don't count.

Exactly. They even released the new Juventus ad with no Pogba and with Pjanic being their new poster boy.

true, i just don't want the cult of hysteria coming after me, especially after the 15 page freakout i read through when i got up this morning :lol:

There are TMZ people all over LA so Paul's journey should be well photographed and documented.
It shows what a huge marketing asset he is when TMZ, who are normally obsessed with the Kardashians and Bieber, are trying to get snaps of him.

Think of the exposure and intangible value United have already got out of this potential transfer.

Yeah I think Pogba is going to be the most marketable footballer in the world for the next 5 years as Ronnie is winding down a bit.

Forgive my ignorance, Who/what are/is TMZ?

Its a site that publishes news about celebrities - they often get information well before anyone because they pay regular people with cameras who submit photos or videos about celebrities moving around LA (and elsewhere). They have "stringers" - people who just linger about Los Angeles airport to spot celebrities and follow them around. Its pretty much impossible to go to LA without being spotted and followed.

I think some people are taking done deal too literally. Everything would be agreed but it doesn't mean all documents are ready or signed.
I can't believe there are people still doubting Pogba will be a United player at this point.

It was never said absolutely 48 hours. I think it's more an indicator as to how close not that it would be confirmed then. It just takes a bit of imagination on some folks part. So I agree with all you say. Some people stress out much to much and take things for granted. They can't see how things are being done - this is clearly a big deal for Adidas and people involved. But it was clear the Journo's never said WOULD be done in 48. They see what they want to see.

They probably didnt want to do it on Friday with Zlatan's first game today. Same goes for next week. If they do announce it has to be either Monday or Friday.

So the new La Stampa article (behind paywall) are also suggesting Dybala will get the "10" shirt, which was pogba's last season.

Shit just got real for the naysayers! *Are you not entertained?* (in Russell Crowe's voice)

ok, that was a follow on from the 48 hour tweet then. So he thought it was completely done by friday. He was wrong about the date.
I do think these journos are parroting eachother. At that time if I was a 'journalist' I would probably have made an educated guess like that too and think "feck it" lots of noise on twitter from well connected people by all acounts saying done soon and tomorrow is Di Marzio's 48 hour deadline day, let's join the party and appear in the know. If it doesn't happen I can always go on about deAl been agreed but announcement held back.

Nerozzi on Second Raiola Comment
THE "BEAT" THE RAIOLA

Just do not be fooled by the words of Mino Raiola, agent of the French, who yesterday tweeted to tease journalists, Italian and English, and let people know that "there is no agreement between the two clubs." In fact the prosecutor had blurted out after weeks of negotiations, tired to be always held up as the one who restrained the transfer: from which, as usual, we will gain a lot, anyway. In fact, even before the tweet, Raiola had explained, in "La Stampa", "I think the deal can be closed within the next week." In short: Pogba, who on August 7 would have to return to Turin, will land in Manchester. And, in the meantime, I have already carried on with the autographs.

Yeah exactly. People are blaming the journos because the clubs haven't announced the deal. The journos don't control when the clubs announce, nor do they control when Pogba does his medical. They simply said that all 3 parties had reached an agreement.
