Fair to say the Juve fans are not liking this at all, and you can't blame them.

He's either trolling/disrespecting them, or us at this point.

I agree. There again Juventus are refusing to pay his agent what's due and that after handling them a 100m rated midfielder for free

Fabrizio and DiMarzio are well connected but they are part of the journalists pack who want to be the first to break the news and thus make sensationalist claims like "in 48 hours this could be closed" knowing full well most muppets will disregard "could" or "can" so they grab attention but still have a fallback option.

I can imagine I bet Di Marzio or whatever his name is was getting a bit of a hammering.

yep, few people on here freaked out and went on a Di marzio rant last 24 hours. However nothing he or his staff has said has been contradicted by Raiola or Pogba. Di Marzio/Staff said the agreement is done and now it moves on to lawyers/printing documents/signatures. Hence it's a "deal done" whilst not officially being a "done deal".

Yes. Some people will blindly refuse to look at the bigger picture here.

except they were right. When Di Marzio said 48 hours, this was his quote

The next 48 hours will be decisive ones for defining the operation, with the parties closer and closer to close.

THEN we found out the agreement was done, and it's moved on to signing.

Paperworks and agreements (also w/Raiola) to be signed... Man Utd and Juventus need time to make Pogba official.

This is how it has played out

1. MUFC-Juve-Raiola Negotiations over X amount of time
2. Close to Agreements over Juve/MUFC details <-----When Di Marzio said 48hours
3. Agreement over Juve/MUFC/Raiola Details "Done deal"
4. Paperwork/Agreements move to signing phase "not officially done deal" (Raiola's Tweet)
5. Current day

People are confusing the use of done deal to mean everything is done.

Pretty much this. Can't understand why other people can't see this.

I think the deal must be done, I saw a "Welcome to Manchester United lad" message posted on a Paul Pogba skills video on youtube. #grabbingatstraws

To be fair it's a done deal. Just the entertainment left now

All we know is from them (with the rest of the journos parotting whatever info they release) so there's hardly anything else to verify their news. Didn't Raiola contradict them by saying "NO DEAL DONE" on his twitter though? the meaning of a 'done deal' seems to be taking a whole new meaning too among Di Marzio fanatics... Twisting it whatever way (with no real way for fans to contradict or verify unless they are sitting in on the contract discussions) to keep Di Marzio's words saintly.

I say he knows something but is as eager as other journos to show off and make bold predictions.

I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but a redditor posted a fantastic breakdown as to why pogba posted those IG "troll" images

Guys, this is ironic lol.

He says that but adds #tweetcommelequipe which means "tweet like l'équipe", France's biggest newspaper, and also adds "#nimportequoi" which means "bullshit" or "whatever".

This started during the Euros : lequipe did pretty shit things throughout the tournament, like scapegoating certain players, trying to stir up controversy when there wasn't, even going as far as inventing shit that would supposedly have happened in the dressing room.

The way they did that is partly by tweeting stupid questions or stats like "Pogba didn't have a shot for the first XX minutes" or "Griezman : should he be dropped ?" after their first slightly less stellar performance.

Honestly, what lequipe is pretty shameful and disgusting, and watching them eat their own shit as we progressed throughout the tournament, basically going from stupid stances like "Pogba doesn't play well" to basically sucking his dick, was pretty bad.

So players, amongst which Pogba, started retaliating by posting tweets and facebook posts mocking them with #tweetcomelequipe. This is posted in this context, basically he's roasting newspapers and lequipe in particular accusing them of making up bullshit as they go.

He was taking a shot a L'Equipe, not trolling MUFC or Juve fans.

They didn't say that it was done, but that Pogba will join United.

Hence it's a "deal done" whilst not officially being a "done deal".

See wpmufc, even L'équipe can claim to be one of the first to break the story if he eds up signing, "deal had been done by then but everything was kept hush hush until bla bla, and all those denials was because everything had to be kept a secret until etc etc".

Not convinced Di Marzio should be doing timelines on when deals are complete, he doesn't know.

You just know Juventus are going to say something about Pogba leaving a Champions League team to play in the Europa...

This is becoming boring - the title tagline says it all. Hopefully the weekend calm before the Monday storm.

Who cares what Juventus say? When was the last time they won the Champions League? 1996?

Fellow muppets,

Even if what you said was relevant, they were in the final just last year. A damn sight better than us, who have only just scraped qualification once in the last 3 seasons.
