Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

I did answer the question. Bale was head and shoulders the best player in the PL when he was sold. In terms of what he achieved its unfair to dismiss his achievements as an individual in England just because the team he played in didn't challenge. Pogba by contrast is playing in a Juve side that are probably the best back five in the world with. Juve have have achieved domestic success not Pogba on his own. There is no comparison in talent level between Bale and Pogba. Bale is streets ahead. You only have to look at their individual performances to see that. Spending 120m on Bale would make sense. It makes no sense on Paul Pogba.

So you're saying Tottenham Bale was streets ahead of 19-23 Pogba overall? Ok mate

They actually have been vindicated as Bale has won 2 champions league with Madrid and helped them win it. Pogba on the other hand has won the piss poor seria a with a depleted Inter & AC Milan teams and failed to win the Champions league even once.

Im talking about what Bale did before Real signed him compared to Pogba's last four seasons. Juventus have outperformed United in Europe since Fergie left, piss poor serie A or not. That 'piss poor' league is still the fourth best league in Europe

@Everyone who quoted my post

Give me some time to answer

We'll see next season. I'm quite confident that a lot of people will lower their rating of Pogba once they see him play week in week out.

I stick by saying Fernandinho is more or less equally as good as Pogba

I really rate Fernandinho and think there's a lot more to his game than a holding midfielder, but that is a stretch too far. It doesn't really matte who is better or worse at this stage, it's the fact that Pogba is one of only a few central midfielders that are attainable and will be a massive improvement on what we have. The fact that transfer fees have rocketed this summer and our financial muscle is finally being realised makes the fee less relevant.

Before you guys say something and i don't know how much truth is in there, but a guy in twitter said Italian and Spanish papers will run that Pogba is joining Madrid story in their tomorrow newspaper exclusive edition.

You wum feck.

Pogba here yet? Meh, it's obvious he's fecking off to Madrid now. Never wanted him anyway, he's shit.

Am sure you scour twitter for anything that links Pogba to Real.

Its one thing to not like him but to number about 15 mids who are supposedly better including Fernandinho and Marchisio is ridiculous.

This is why I agree that we should sign him, I'm simply stating that there are better players in his position than him

It's not even a position that RM need to fill right now and at a time when they're already potentially being banned for various transfer/money related contraventions - why on earth would they scrape the money together (by whatever means) and break the world transfer record for a player that is not even essential?!!

I know Perez is a toss piece but he's not a complete fecktard.

Isn't the whole 'Pogba prefers Real' story basically recycled daily by random Twitter ITKs from what Balague said a few weeks ago?

I have yet to see a credible source claiming that's the case

I've been reading this sort of thing for a while now.
First its a matter of days. Now hours. Then minutes. Then seconds.
Meanwhile weeks are passing by.

It's a matter of hours since 15 days.

If he doesn't come, I'm fine, I would be glad if Raiola doesn't get his shameful commissions from us.

I think Bale in his last season at spurs was performing at a better level than Pogba has shown. 26 goals in just over 40 apperances, he was a match winner in that season which set him on the road he is now which is one of the top 10 players in the world

The same reason why some people put themselves into incredible debt to maintain a fancy lifestyle - appearances. Pogba isn't the player they need but he's the one who is popular at the moment.

SO this is muppetry??? Living in the states ... we tend to go crazy at the start of free agency for American Football and Basketball... but transfer season is a whole different beast. You guys and girls have me laughing at some of the stuff you are saying.
If I have learned anything, its that any twat with a twitter account and a shitty picture of them in some knock off sunglasses can all of a sudden be in the know....

Marca reported it....
.......
...........

I'm secretly scared though...

This has always bugged me.

In regards to Mino Raiola. If Pogba is his client and employed by Pogba to represent him, then why the heck does Pogba not pay his agent that HE employed instead of the clubs?

I don't understand the media... Why are pretty much every media outlet reporting the Zidane quotes wrong when there was a guy next to him translating what he was saying? Unless the translation wasn't spot on and they basically got it all wrong?

Because it's a % of the fee - this is not Raiola's fault. It's Juve!

Absolute nonsense.

What aspects of CM play is he better at then Pogba?

The answer: NONE

That is just complete ignorance.

Stamina, work rate, acceleration, aggression, anticipation, positional discipline...basically he has no where near the technical quality but he outshines Pogba in some of the more defensive qualities. They are different kinds of cental midfielders though, obviously.

Iniesta
Busquets
Kroos
Modric
Vidal
Koke
Verratti
Rakatic
Kante

Heck, I might even put Fernandinho, Marchisio, Fabregas, Cazorla ahead of him

It's fair to say by that list that you don't really rate Pogba.

No one in that list is better than him. The only one that comes close is Modric who is technically slightly better, however Pogba makes up for it with his physicality.

Welcome

Is it me, or am I the only one that is tired of Zidane's face??? Dude really bothers me. He always looks as if he just got finished sparring for 12 rounds.

You think Pogba is the best midfielder in the world?

No. I'm saying when Tottenham sold Bale he was better than Pogba currently is. You don't have to agree with me.
Agree with this

Credible source or not, can anyone come up with one reason (assuming they match the money on offer) why he wouldn't prefer to play CL football under the current CL champions, managed by a French legend?

I think he'd have gone to Madrid given the chance.

I think its been quite well documented that he would prefer Madrid, but that they aren't willing to match our price
