Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

A world record fee for a player we already had that left for free. Only at United.

A rare SAF blunder. Hilarious how people talk about how United gives youth a chance yet in that instance SAF didn't give youth a chance and instead brought a 38 year old Scholes out of retirement

Looks to me like Raiola has been leaking these stories to AS and Di Marzio to whip up a bidding war. One that Real will no doubt win.

This guy was voted in the TOTY and people don't want him? Don't you want to win something? Yes, €120 million is a hell of a lot of money but he's one of the best midfielders in the world and at a young age. We want a signing that will make rivals quake in their boots and this is the best signing to do that.

Raiola now has good connections with our club over the imminent signings of Mkhitaryan and Ibrahimovic, making me believe that he's not using us for Madrid. We're having a meeting tommorow which might indicate a change or not at all. But it's atleast better to try.

Although I doubt Pogba is coming back, the club have been correcting some of the wrongs made during the end of the Sir Alex era (finally bringing in Mourinho). Pogba returning would be icing on the cake. He never should've left in the first place.

If Madrid wind up breaking the bank for him then that's a good thing, as he's clearly not worth over 100m and it would also free up someone like Kroos.

Still good for us to be in to make the feckers pay more than they should, in case we lose out. They may need to sell Kroos to fund the transfer and free the position to plug Pogba into the squad.

Another match I watch him he is going to be crap. Coincidence.

Yep, very true. I wonder if deals get done quietly in the background in situations like this. For example Real offering us first refusal on Kroos, or whichever big name they sell this summer, and in exchange we stop pushing the price up.

He's been very good since the goal. Shows good mentality.

Also, very good choice by Deschamps to switch him and Matuidi. As I said before, he's much better on the left, where he can cut onto his right.

Pogba is playing in his actual LACM position today. There's no reason or excuse for him to not show his stuff from there.

I hope he plays terrible and France get knocked out because of him that way he stays another year at least.

I doubt Mourinho is going to say no because of a bad international tournament. Perez might, but I doubt we'd pull out. He was hardly great before today.

That would only bother Real Madrid. ;)

On another note, Pogba is getting the PL treatment in this game. He's clearly being targeted for the rough stuff.

I could see them keeping Kroos. They could play a midfield three of Kroos, Pogba and Modric (Madrid aren't concerned with defense they want attacking flair). I can see James definitely leaving for us though. Just hopefully not at 50 million pounds.

Thought I'd take a look at a Juve forum as they were a good laugh during the Vidal saga. They really hate the PL and they really love sarcasm:

Honestly, i don't think Man Utd are interested, because he isn't Priemer League proven, they'd be stupid to take such a risk, they won't know whether he can make it in the great BPL or not
sure he can score goals against sassuolo and palermo, but can he do it on a cold wet night vs stoke or aston villa? i dont think so

I'm beginning to think we've seen the last of Pogba in this jersey. Man Utd are so desperate that they will actually give us whatever stupid out of this world amount we ask for.
We are as likely to lose him to Man Utd as we are to Inter.

I heard his childhood dream was to win the community shield. Unfortunately he will never have the chance with us. I see it as an honor that a club like United wants to take one of our best players. We should throw in Dybala and Bonucci for free just for their consideration.

Man Utd have a $#@! load of money and they are going to spend big this summer. Probably the only team who would be prepared to meet our valuation and hes wage demands. Cant imagine Pogba wanting to go there, but who knows if they are ready to trible hes salary. Any negotiation should include Martial going the other way.

How do you stop a moron like United who is ready to offer anything we ask for though? At one point Beppe and Andrea will be like 'yeah we ain't saying no to this'.

Seems this Di Marzio is marketing himself nicely by posting a lot of EPL news. And you have his translators like David Amoyal who think they're big journalists or something when a ton of EPL fans hound them asking plenty of questions on latest rumors.
All this popularity got to their heads thanks to the epl virus. So i am not surprised that Di Marzio these days is posting a lot of click bait stories because he'd get plenty of epl fans to read it either way.

Let's face it. He's just not ready for a big club like Arsenal or United. He needs a few more years playing for a second rate club and in an inferior league before he's ready for the EPL giants.
I particularly enjoyed the amount of bitterness and sarcasm dripping from this last one.

Then a late cheeky bid for Casemiro. He is very good deep lying midfielder. I think Zidane rates him and knows his importance in the team. Either way Perez likely will feck Zidane and upset the squad again. If we play the card right, we can still get great benefit from this situation.

He's not really a box-to-box midfielder is he. He's an attacking midfielder, and there's loads of them about.

Watching him this Euros and the few CL matches I've seen him in, he's not nearly as good as the hype suggests. I think he would do well in Spain, but he takes far too long on the ball for the PL, and his passing is often a little too laid back. He doesn't thrive when teams are pressing high with tempo, and that is something most PL teams do.

I've said it here before, he's a highlight reel player more than a CM that runs games for you. Not worth the hype or fees that he will inevitably go for.

I don't know, there's something weird about some of our fans. For years we've moaned about how average our players are and how we never spent enough money during Ferguson's last years, but then when we start getting linked with players that'll cost a fortune (because they're great players that will significantly improve us) there's moaning about how much they cost. Just no pleasing some people I guess.

I agree. I haven't watched him that much, but he looks to be exactly the kind of player you describe. Some of his passes are brilliant and he has a mean shot, but he loses the ball far too often. There was one time today where there was a gaping hole to the right that only required a single pass, but instead he chose to dribble and make a pass that ruined the entire attack. He tries to do far too much.

I don't think he is a good signing, 30m or 100m. His style isn't suited to the PL, imo. Just because he is big and strong doesn't make him a PL player.

This is true. He's actually not a CM. He's more a hybrid and in between a CAM and a CM. His best position would be that of an advanced midfielder in a 4-3-3 so more or less like a 10.

He's not as good as he's hyped to be and I am slightly surprised that many fall for it. When someone suggests he's worth 120m I can only laugh because he's simply not worth it. (Mind you, in the transfer thread I suggested that he is not even worth half of that)

He's massively overrated. Some nice turns here and there, a couple of strong shots and some dribblings that look good on a youtube compilation. However, he's no way good enough to warrant a world record fee. I hope we don't buy him

I will caveat what I've always said about him with if he can put his moments into a consistent 90 minute performance there's not another player in the world like him

Don't you remember them during the Vidal saga? They're awfully precious.
