I expect the club to comply to my arbitrary deadlines.
Yeah sure let's do all this and give up. Move onto somebody well below his level and do it all again next year
Thing is, most journos just report what they're told, some bullshit, some genuine real info. Thats why some a hit and miss, some getting more right than they do wrong. Some people might say it's just guesswork, but you can be sure some of the more reputable journos do have their sources within clubs, and some papers are really close to clubs too and are used as a clubs mouthpiece (Real and Marca for example).Journalists get away with murder. It is unacceptable. I cannot STAND it! Well OK, I should say sport journalists. There is a code of conduct, where readers have a right to expect accuracy and fairness.
We are bound by these rules. If I make an error in my reports then my editor will come down on me like a ton of bricks, because the publication can be sued.
So yes, I'm a journalist as well. And I despise these clickbaiters, destroying decades of trust established through blood and tears.
This morning, we brought you the latest update on the Paul Pogba transfer deal from Spain as Marca claimed the deal was ‘paralysed’.
Our hunch on that was that this was a Marca tactic to try and get Real Madrid fans’ hopes up that a deal could still be possible, because that’s what Marca do.
In Italy, the story is very different, and it seems most newspapers still expect the deal to be done soon.
Corriere on Tuesday claim that Paul Pogba’s days at Juventus are ‘numbered’, suggesting that it’s all but done.
There was a lot of fuss regarding the player’s most recent Instagram picture of him and Mino Raiola in a pool in Miami having a good laugh with a cryptic caption, but that doesn’t worry Corriere one bit.
They state that the two clubs met yesterday and spoke about the transfer, and Corriere’s final line regarding Pogba is ‘it won’t take long for the deal to be announced’.
Our bottom line this morning was that a deal was most likely sorted and all parties were just waiting for the player’s holidays to end before announcing, which seems to be the general belief in Italy too.
That would require a €150m transfer fee.Raiola's agreement with Juve when pogba signed was that he would get 20% of the future transfer fee or something simular. Looks like if what the journos say is true (I'm sceptical) that they want to clear €120 without his fee. So it's Juve trying to renegotiate on a previous agreement with Raiola.
So, when does Pogba's holidays end?Latest summary from Sportwitness, looks promising:

There's literally nobody that's available close to Pogba's level or potential.
It's clearly just Raiola's fee holding this deal up.. But it's hardly his fault, if there was a clause in his Juve contract, then they should just pay the man!
Although we'll end up paying it, or at least coming to some kind of 50/50 agreement.
Allergri's quotes have me convinced now.

For the money involved here, there probably isn't a player in the world we couldn't get, save Messi and Maybe Ronaldo.
You've been convinced for a while now, no?
Yes, but the difference is, those players aren't available. They are already at top tier clubs, and are getting paid as highly as we'd offer them.
There's plenty. For the money involved here, there probably isn't a player in the world we couldn't get, save Messi and Maybe Ronaldo.
We wouldn't get Neymar either. Barca themselves spent close to 100 million or more in total (incl 'agent' fees to beymar's dad) to get him.For the money involved here, there probably isn't a player in the world we couldn't get, save Messi and Maybe Ronaldo.
You deserve a new tag as GOD of the Pogba thread now!YES!
I think that is why the twitter tw4t keeps quoting #145.That would require a €150m transfer fee.
Oh great!

Stop being a greedy cnut, Riola, you fat little troll.
Who? Save maybe Neymar, like @Kevin says. There's plenty.
Yes, but the difference is, those players aren't available. They are already at top tier clubs, and are getting paid as highly as we'd offer them.
You're talking as if we can walk into any club and just take anyone we want.
Where's your sense of drama and muppetry??Neither of your outcomes are true.
I don't see how his latest quotes confirm anything at all? It's the most generic answer ever!Allergri's quotes have me convinced now.
And who exactly do you have in mind?
Stop being a greedy cnut, Riola, you fat little troll.
as a point of principle we should definately not pay a cent more than the agreed price with Juve....
It would sum up our money management over the last couple of years if we ended up paying agent fees we arent responsible for
Even though all of what they said is how most of us feel and know to be true, it's good to hear it from a less biased entityLatest summary from Sportwitness, looks promising:

Yeah. It's very, very sad.
That is by far the saddest thing I've seen in this thread.
And that's saying something.
Yeah. It's very, very sad.
The Independent scooped me.
As for wasting my time creating this very apt case study, it is mine to waste after all. BTW, feel free to peruse my monumental fail!
There's now 0ver 600 pages can he go back and start again?Wait, you went through 136 pages of this thread?!
Yes but it's probably not even true, just journos looking for stories about how tough Juve have been in negotiations to appease their fans and filling time/headlines before it is announced.Wait, so Raoila negotiated a fee with Juve (based on future transfer fee) for helping them to steal Pogba from us and now they want us to pay that fee???
They must think Woodward was born yesterday!
