He must've come under a lot of flack for the (failed) transfer. A lot of people get emotioinally involved in these transfer sagas, especially when a ITK's put their reputation on the line.
I'm not too emotionally invested in the Pogba transfer, though I will admit I was absolutely involved in the Mourinho to MUFC thread. Had Jose not joined I'd have felt quite depressed (yes, more depressed when Moyes was announced as MUFC manager).
