I wasn't Wumming. I heard the info and thought people would appreciate my sharing. A mistake I won't make on here again, I promise. No more "itk" me.

The info seems to have been wrong at the time, but there's still a chance he does cancel it. Which will maybe make me think there was doubt in his mind the whole time
I was just pulling your leg. Feel free to share any ITK stuff in the future.

We need to hurry up and finalise this now that Gomes, (who I'm assuming, along with Matuidi) was our second option of the three mentioned. We are running out of options and Madrid's interest might be a lot stronger in Pogba now that they let Gomes slip.

Been reported that they didn't push for Gomes, because James is staying.

He will sign for United.

The money we are seemingly willing to throw down will not be matched, nor resisted.

 It's been great fun to read this thread. From happiness to despair. I hope for the sake of your health he signs, because as Jose says, there's no big deal if he doesn't, United will have someone else lined up who do the job.

Jose may of identified 3 but you can guarantee there's a first second and third choice and Pogba is the first choice

André Gomes knew that in Madrid it would be alternate for @Modric19. The big signing of the summer has been @AlvaroMorata. And Pogba is to throw

Any Spanish speakers can translate? Translation is Pogba to throw, wtf does that mean?

Think it was mentioned earlier, there wasn't any competition for those three, only City.
There's no competition for Pogba either. At least so far.
And City plus Juventus wanted RvP and Wenger obviously preferred to sell abroad.
Plus PSG were interested in Di Maria but we're priced out by us.

But if they knew Real desperately needed the money would they bid the exact same they got rejected at, or would they push their luck and take advantage of the situation?

Of course this is all based of IF Real had to sell to buy
Real will have cash lying around, add 60-70m to it. They could find the money, i think theyre publicly trying to make Pogba push for the move. And have got their mouthpiece Marca to help them.

Marca saying they pulled out of signing Gomes because James reiterated that he wanted to stay!
Translation: We haven't been able to find a buyer gullible enough to pay us megamoney for James yet, so we'll have to give him another season.

Morata who they want to sell is their big signing?

Just pay the agent fee Woody, let's get this over with and move on. Shades of Hazard..

I seriously believe that RM is in the mix now. Perez ego just can't take loosing out on this one.

And actually, I'm not too bothered. With the same amount we can sign two other players and probably be just as well off. (no I dont have any targets in mind, but Jose does.)

I see no sudden evidence of this at all.

If some Madrid fans are reading this they'll laugh and laugh hard how some of United fans are fearing Madrid.
I think the muppets on this forum just enjoy being hysterical and the drama of a transfer.

Plus, up until this summer, they hung on Ballague's every word.

There definitely is a problem. Raiola's comments, and Mourinho's mention of other targets and that other clubs are interested in Pogba. I reckon the problem is that United are being asked to pay Raiola's cut in addition to the fee and not as part of it.

Ya that seems the most likely scenario. Wouldn't be surprised if they still try and prostitute him to PSG etc. to try and get a seller though. If we miss out on Pogba, our second option Gomes is gone leaving us with Matuidi which would be very underwhelming. I was always wary that putting all our effort into Pogba all window could be costly, we've missed out on some top players, Sanches etc.

It's laughable. They are really hoping RM sign him, so pathetic.

There's some weird EPL bias over there. Like Morata potentially moving to Arsenal or Chelsea, and they'd much rather have him back in Madrid  it's like they're completely fine getting cucked by RM

That is the only thing holding up this deal. Raiola's cut. It'll be resolved soon.

I highly doubt we lose a player because of that.

I'm the friend who gets a lift most days but in the past used to miss out on the lift all the time, and I haven't forgotten. Di Marzio used to spew shit all the time. The problem is I don't have a clear example as I can't remember, but I remember one time him getting slated about talking bullshit. Think it was about Ozil to United. He is worth listening to but isn't gospel.

But people keep saying - Transfers are not black and white. Just cos a player ends up in team X instead of Y, doesn't mean he was never in Team Y's plans.

Its not just Di Marzio reporting this, nearly every single journalist in 3 different countries are saying the same thing. There isn't a single credible reporter that is saying Madrid are still in it...

Well if Madrid get him then I'm afraid it's our own fault for dithering with Raiola's 20% could have wrapped it up before Gomes to Barca was finalised.

There's not a chance this deal won't happen when the only thing is a bit of money for an agent left to deal with. Maybe if Fergie was still here, but this is a different era.

That's exactly what they are mate. Filthy Spanish loving cuckolds.

It's happening isn't it... I am getting very serious deja vu from the other failed sagas.

It's always about now that things start to unravel.

To be fair I'd be pretty gutted if my star player moved to a club playing Europa League as opposed to either of the two best teams in the world at the minute. I know what you mean but I guess they consider his move to us a huge step down.

I guess there is a point in that, but if I were them and someone is tapping up a player from my team, I'd get mad regardless if it's the Spanish giants, an oil club or a historically big club that's going through one of its worst periods like United. I just don't understand how they'd just bow down to Madrid.

Madrid have gone from 14/1 to 7/1 on Skybet (for Pogba to join Madrid) in the past half hour. There must be a flurry of bets on.

Other targets have been mentioned for weeks.
