Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

He could want to leave all he wants but with PSG refusing to even sit on the negotiation table, it's a non starter. Remember how they dealt with Silva trying to move to Barca?

That was hilarious to be fair.

I have a limt of 5 posts and I'll waste one just to say this
He's chatting about his Manchester days just to pressure Madrid into submitting a higher bid. No way he's coming back so stop dreaming!

That's always the danger although this time I'm not too bothered if he's just trying to force Madrid's hand either by getting the transfer on or just a better deal at Madrid.

For Pogba to be at Juve for 4 years is a little surprising. Seems like last summer the price tag was too much or he's just not as fancied as a lot us think. Good way to get Madrid flapping into action is mention United, they would not want us buying Pogba and would find a place and a bumper deal for him.

Imo the kid is one of the best all around cm in the world at the moment and at 23 is only gonna get better. Anybody watching his displays in the youth teams for us when he was here knew that he was the real deal!!! I cancelled my MUTV subscription out of sheer anger when he left. He is a man utd player and he should have never of been allowed to leave. If possible bring him home where he belongs!

Except none of the four mentioned are available.
But if Pogba were to go to Madrid then there would a possibility of one of Kroos or Modric leaving. Also Koke has a release clause, we meet that and Agent DDG gets on the case theres a small chance lol.

Don't think Pogba is a better player than Koke or Modric.

Playing in serie A for Juventus can make a player look better then he really is. I don't recall Pogba having great games in CL when the pressure is on and there's less time on the ball, less time to think (like in every EPL game).

Time will tell, but it won't be smooth adjustment period wherever he ends up in the end, but he will be one of the very best eventually. That is not debatable.

Probably not, but then why would Juve sell? I just said for about 80m, you could also test PSG for a player I rate higher
I think juve know he will leave eventually, so why not get the highest fee possible while hes wanted. they got him for free and have other decent midfielders, so might aswell sell for the best possible price and reinvest.

If they leave it too late they might only get half.

I am probably the minority here, but I don't think Pogba is a good fit for Real at all. I feel that his star power is too much for a team that is already loaded with huge names. I don't know that Pogba will ever find his place. He would be much better off signing for us. Just my 2 cents.

He's not worth 120m.

Mental.

65m tops.

65m! That's mental.

No one ever fits Real Madrid, they just buy!

Apparently he has agreed a 5year deal with them. Let's hope so. I hate transfer sagas.

If Modric looses his place because of Pogba, I don't care how old he is, Modric is the heartbeat of that team and we should do anything to get him.

Why would Modric lose his place, he's better than Pogba. Casemiro, Isco or Kroos might have to warm the bench or move on. Modric and Pogba will be the starters.

Typical.

Real Madrid buy the best player moving this summer.

We go sniffing for scraps.

"Biggest club in the world".

This.

That Sergio Ramos link last year was a pain in the arse. From the first link I said "agent games" yet people still got suckered in. United got suckered in. We play a year with Blind at CB in his place.

My favorite signings are the ones like Bailly. Interest. Bid. Signed within days. 22 years old, described by Mourinho as "potentially one of the best" those signings are much more exciting than months of chasing players we obviously won't get

Real will have to balance the books if they were to sign Pogba and in all likelihood that means selling James which isn't going to be easy. I haven't a clue if Juve want Moratta back but if they do then Real have a bargaining chip but if they don't then this could go on for months. Real's biggest problem is United forcing the price up, Woodward I'm sure has no issue breaking the transfer record for a player.

If we can get Pogba it will be a dream signing. If we can't and it means Madrid need to get rid of Kroos and we can have him then that's a win as well.

Doesn't seem that the source for this is particularly credible, fortunately or unfortunately depending on how you view things.

Kroos then ends up declaring his desire to stay and has no intention of leaving just before joining either Juventus as they love a midfielder, City or PSG whilst we prepare bids for Gareth Bale and Neymar.
This would have happened in the past however I'm hoping this summer will be different, although Jose or not I'm still not overly confident about us buying any proven top class talent this window (Zlatan possibly aside) but I'm happy to be proved wrong of course.

Already have 4 box to box midfielders in Schneiderlin, Herrera, Schweinsteiger, and Fellaini. Why add a fifth for an insane amount of money? Sell the others first or you'll have to give them away for nothing. Someone like Dier or Matic would help our midfield far more than a flashy luxury signing like Pogba. Should have kept him, no need to make that mistake worse by overpaying to get him back.

good lord!

Schneiderlin - Hasn't done much here
Herrera - A bit disappointing
Schweinsteiger - Old, injury issues
Fellaini - Crap
Pogba - possibly the most talented young CM in europe

.

This would be the opposite of a dream scenario-very much a nightmare :(:(:(:(:(

Ha, sorry mate, my negativity should be ignored and just enjoy muppet season. You never know this could be a great summer of signings and a very exciting season ahead.

They have to pay what he can earn elsewhere, or at least come within touching distance of it, which is why I said Pogba would be a fool to go there before being an established superstar in his own right. If he does go beforehand, he's taking less money to do so, which would mean he really, really wants to go there and nobody else stood a chance. Fair play if that's the case, but I don't think it is.

He is a "superstar" already (but I don't think he is work paying 80+ million) many players have gone to Madrid for less money. Bale would have earned more at United, but he chose Madrid. I am sure Kroos chose Madrid over United for less money, but we tried saving face by saying we were not interested.

I would hope so, since he is on their books.

Well where else can we shop for the best players?? Bayern? Nope, Barca? Nope, isit so hard to except that were not the biggest club in the world? Most fans maybe, but the biggest club in terms of attracting players is Madrid and Barca then Bayern.

Modric, Kroos, Isco will loose there spot... How does that make them scraps. All are world class and would jump into all PL clubs starting 11.

If you haven't noticed, Arsenal are building quite a nice team of 'Scraps'....

Now imagine if Isco, Modric or Kroos went to Arsenal this summer and Pogba went Madrid.

Arsenals team would Imo be challenging seriously.

So Juve will apparently turn down 120m euros for Pogba although they paid 100 x less than that for him, wonder how much they would value Darmian as part of an exchange, I'd wager no more than 4m euros knowing Juve and their tight as a gnats asshole approach to transfers.

It grinds my gears that people value success over anything else.

For me, it doesn't matter how good a footballer is. If the transfer doesn't sit well, I wouldn't have him.

Of course his value is around £80m, ideally with a decent chunk as add-ons.

Martial cost £36m down rising to £60m+

He was relatively unknown.

It's 2016. Records will be smashed if top talent is to move around.

Hmm, and why would this transfer not sit well? Because of your own opinion or what?

I can't put my finger on it. Frankly, I expect many to have this intuition without admitting to it. We'll manage without him.

I see nothing wrong with it except for the huge fee. But it's not my money so don't care really. Also just my subjective opinion.

I can't believe they'd turn down 120m euros for him, seriously, he's a good player with potential but.. Jesus.

I think i'm one of the few who agrees here.

Out of sheer principle I would tell him to ruck off. Wouldn't be trying to spend outrageous money on him for certain.

I feel that we haven't any desire to buy him and it's all press talk though.
