I'm failing to see what all the doom and gloom is about. Pogba won't push for a move, so what? If Juventus accept our offer he'll join us.
Like you ever wanted him to sign
He is overrated partly because of his streaky brilliance and immense potential plus his overall persona. His age, potential and marketability all matter though. And certainly, if he fails, whether he was bought for 60 million or 100 will not matter much. Likewise if he succeeds. As I said before, incredibly difficult to justify 100 million plus for a player who isn't an out and out forward simply because it's much harder to measure other impact areas. But anyone disappointed with this if it happens has got be thinking too much..
Time to rewatch this
Stop this muppetry.
Erm check which name I bolded in the reply ffsThe feck you on about. Would love him to sign and have never said any differently but I just fear it's going to be another Ramos or something. It was relatively straightforward with Mkhitaryan as he openly pushed for the move. All I'm seeing with Pogba is that he wants to come, then his first choice is Madrid, then a deal has ben agreed, then nothing's happening etc., etc., etc. It's clear that money ain't the issue on United's part so why the conflicting stories. I get that he's probably focused on the Euros and rightly so but still...
He's got massive point to prove if he comes back here.He seems like a very ambitious guy, i can understand him staying at Juventus to play CL instead of EL with us.
A football players career isn't exactly long.
If players have a desire to play in the Premier League, then United is still the powerhouse. We aren't the best on the field, but we are the biggest in England, we carry that romance and allure that few others can match. I agree that Barca and Madrid are probably the prime destinations for a footballer today, but to say you "cannot see why he'd come to Manchester" is such a defeatist attitude to have. If he comes to United, he's joining the most marketable league in the world, in the highest profile transfer ever, arguably (given the fee). It would do more for his brand than joining the others would, and I think being a superstar would be a big deal to Pogba.Harsh as it is to say, I cannot wrap my head around why he would come to Manchester, beyond money (which he can get elsewhere), over Madrid, Barcelona or even London. Might as well stay with Juventus if no one bar ourselves is offering the right price.
He's still very young and has plenty of time to be patient on the right move.
I'll be very impressed if we can convince him.

Exactly! Let the agent do the dirty work, the Juve fans will think Raiola pushed the sale and not Pogba.
I need some positive news. The muppet is in critical condition.
This. We will do whatever it takes.
Its no bid to reject, as we are negotiating a deal. I have not read the Sky Italia news, but if they are saying that Juventus has reject us, its a bit premature tbh
Stop this muppetry.
Yeah this is what I heard. If pogba doesn't want to leave, they won't sell him no matter what.Juventus don't willingly sell players unless the player asks to leave, do they? If Pogba isn't going to make his interest on leaving known I don't see why they'd let him leave. They rejected 80 Million for Dybala? Not to add, they're not exactly struggling financially.
You want to blow £100m on Ronaldo? If somehow he ends up at Madrid, we should offer the money for Ronaldo instead.
He also won't be that good...or Matuidi..which is more likely.
EDIT: and he wont be that expensive.
Well Modric is the same age. Ronaldo would gaurantee us 30+ goals a season for at least the next 3 seasons. You want to blow £100m on Ronaldo?
At this point I'd rather spend it on Kroos and Modric.
He also won't be that good.
Some of you ares so negative and defeatist. Nothing has changed from yesterday, except we know Madrid aren't after him.
And what Di Marzio said tonight is not new. He said before. Pogba won't agitate for a move and he's ok with staying. It's all about the £€$ we offer Juve. Very likely Juve have briefed this and trying to scare us into offering more. I can't see them turning down that kind of money. €120m is almost half their annual turnover
Agree. Which is why I think this is all Juventus posturing to try and get more money from us and to appease their fansI don't believe he won't be looking for a move given the money being touted. It's life changing sums.
Oh come on, he's a multi-millionaire already. If Juve accept our offer, i'm sure he will come though.I don't believe he won't be looking for a move given the money being touted. It's life changing sums.
If it happens, will be sooner rather than later. I predict within two weeks. He won't be part of the tour as he needs his rest.Lets start a poll of When Pogba joins us instead.
I predict Thursday the 14th
