Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

He is a wum and a bellend. I wouldnt pay too much attention to what he says. He is only here to rile us all up.

Given they flopped at the home straight and ended up finishing below Arsenal and that 'world class' Dele Alli and Harry Kane were both atrocious at this tournament, I'm surprised he's popped his head up to wind us up. It's not like Spurs can claim to be the kings at the moment. We had a depressing year of playing our worst football since the 80s and still finished only 4 points below Spurs...

Not to mention we actually won something.

Brilliant. You finished above us twice. And what about the 30 years before that?

Wasn't the question about the Bale money? I guess you didn't like the answer. Meanwhile, back to Pogba ...

That's just it, what makes a 100M pound player? when does this become a 200m pound player? Pogba was always a talent but worth 100M I don't think so. Watching today's match he got court out of position a couple of times and lost the ball, made a couple of rash tackles.

I don't even know if his a 8 or 10 and watching him in the Euro's, I don't think he knows. He has always reminded me of Vieira in style of movement but Vieira was more defencelessly minded / aware. If you had the choice Scholes @ 23 or Pogda @ 23 ? you know which way i'd go and not because Scholes is a legend its because if we needed an number 8 id get a number 8 = Scholes. We need specialist
At 22-23 Scholes mostly played as a striker, only chucked in midfield due to an injury to Keane. A 23 year old Scholes wouldn't be considered a specialist.

Even in the current market where prices are slightly inflated, no player is worth 100m. Pogba is a good player and may well turn out to be world class, even that is still up for debate, but we need to be sensible with price tags

Yes back to Pogba. We can spend £100m tomorrow and it wouldnt even make a dent in our financials. We have the money so we spend it. Im afraid you wont know how that feels. Must be a pretty shit when youre trying to argue your team is better when in reality you're not even close and will never be.

Sorry to be boring but a quick show of hands as things stand right now - do you believe we will sign Pogba?

Congrats. Does that makes you feel proud?

Not especially. I expected it given your disastrous transfer policy, which has recently and mostly consisted of wildly over-spending on 'big names', or players that you didn't really need, or players that are distinctly average, or players long past their best. £100m for Pogba would fall into the first of those four categories.

Many housing projects are being cancelled in London. It's unlikely Spurs will press ahead.

Mark Farmer, chief executive of Cast, a real estate consultancy, said most London schemes would at least come under review.

“The centre of the storm is going to be commercial property and speculative residential for sale,” he said.

“Anything that has planning consent that hasn’t been committed, or anything that [has construction ongoing] on site but is a phased project, is in harm’s way at the moment.”

How would you describe the way United have played the last three years and would you say they will play the same way next season?..Moyes and LVG did a poor job. We bought Di Maria for big money.....and that's it. SO this money talk is bull. Falcao was on loan. Bastian was around 6 million. Zlatan was on a free. All the big names have not cost the club much and that's a nonsense. LVG gave debuts to a shed load of kids in his time here.

Morgan could be a good player still. Depay is a young player of great promise. This wildly overspending is complete bullshit. United's struggles are due to Sir Alex retiring, being tight with bringing players in, losing too much experience in a short space in time and being made to play negative football. That won't be the case next season. The money United are willing to spend is the money they should have spent a long time ago.

Yet we still got Mourinho, Zlatan on a free, and Miki Targaryan for the price of one Troy Deeney.

If these are our dark days, imagine yours. Shudders.

Thought so, I said it more in jest really.

I do think United will be paying more for the name rather than the player in Pogba, & I doubt Madrid will come close to matching alleged our offer, and they'd probably be right.

Hey, at least the DDG saga was over before it started this year!

Summer is still very long and Madrid still have not moved . Personally I think Juventus have no intention of staying with Pogba . I think their goal is simply to keep Dybala .
Now as in all these super signings the player has to do something declaring his intentions.
If Madrid pays 75 million €+Danilo, 25 million + James , or some combination of that kind , then I am happy with Pogba , but not excited . Otherwise , I´d wish him a happy career in England .
In my opinion these big amounts have to be invested in firepower: Lewandowski, Griezmann, Hazard...

Yes , it seems that finally everyone is happy. Keylor here and David many years in Manchester

Why do you worry about it?
We'll learn to live with Pogba in our ranks. It will be tuff but we can do it. He's not Alli I admit but he knows some football.

Wouldn't give a feck if we spent £200m on Pogba. He's an improvement over what we have, transfer fees don't matter as long as you can afford them in a sustainable manner.

Yes, but I just love the fact that if we can get Paul and Real can't do anything about it ;).
Granted, nobody knows. Let's wait and see now, I think next week will give a good indication, or maybe it will just be closed next week.

I'd obviously take Pogba over Alli, but Alli is a great talent - silly to compare them just yet, the same way we can't compare Iheanacho with Aguero even though his minutes per goal ratio was better than anybodies last season.

Spurs have a great young team that would be hard to rule out in future seasons with some added investment. You can't ask about the Bale money and then move the goalposts when they were a better side than you last season. Swap managers and they'd still be ahead.

Pogba won't solve our mid field issues. But a mid pogba - scheini-schneirdlein could win the league under mourinho , but will fall short in Europe .

The point is I hate seeing best players moving to the Spanish giants always. It's time to change that and if we get pogba I hope it's just a start. I'm pretty sure in the next 2 years Verrati and Dyabala will move . To me this are the real gems in todays football. When they are ready to move we should be in the front to get them .

I'm starting to believe that this signing for United has a lot to do with the psychological and motivational aspect. To use finally the money of the club , get a super signing that places the club again as an elite destination

@carvajal

Does Real Madrid want to keep or sell James Rodriguez?

I think they want to sell. Apparently the club is again angry with James because he has a shoulder injury and appeared playing volleyball on vacation. It would be great if he could go to Juve or your beloved sheik pay us 80 m
